If you have oil in the radiator it could be a crack in a cylinder sleeve. I had this same problem in a jd skidder.

I had the same debate and ended up with the 7510 and have been very pleased. I like the ground clearance once you take the belly mower off (pretty easy) and the 3ph seems a bit sturdier.

I am buying a Kubota L3400 with FEL. I would like to know if I can run a Woods 84� Finish Mower with it. I have used the Woods many times with a borrowed larger Kubota with great results. I have about 12 acres to mow. I have visited the woods site and read the specs and as I read it I am good. Can any one give me a clue?

I'm getting ready to buy but am undecided on which one. Either will have a FEL. I've read you never have too much HP but will the 7610 be enough. Flat ground, general landscaping, some snow removal, moving stones, removing and spreading gravel. <br>
Not that much difference when financing but it all adds up.

A lot depends on the type of ground you are caring for. If you have a lot of trees to mow around, and whole lot of lawn to mow, the smaller tractors are a better choice. But, if your land is hilly or bumpy, with washouts, ditches, etc.. or covered with heavy brush.......a larger tractor will suit your needs much better.

If you have any critters to care for, such as horses or cattle, a larger tractor will handle the haying chores a lot better than will the smaller tractors. This is also true for any fencing chores you will need to do around the place.

For the slight difference in price from the smaller tractors to the larger ones, I'd choose a tractor just a bit on the bigger side.

You'll find that you can't do certain jobs with a smaller tractor, due to the limitations of the 3pt hitch, horsepower ratings, and loader capacities. With 9 acres to keep up, you'll find that having the option to choose the larger implements will probably be useful, if not absolutely necessary.

For example, with a tractor in the 30 horsepower range, you'll be able to handle a much larger amount of dirt with your loader. When tilling, you'll be able to pick from a much larger selection of tillers. The same is true for your choice in mower implements, plows, etc.

If you are moving a lot of railroad ties, telephone poles, gravel, dirt, sand, etc.....you'll find that the smaller tractors struggle to maintain good footing and balance with these projects. It's even more difficult to accomplish these heavy chores with a small tractor if the ground is even the slightest bit uneven.

No matter what, I assure you that you'll find more uses for your tractor than you ever imagined.

Yes I have a L3130 I purchased in 2003 and paid 16,300 or so with a Schwartz loader so you got a good deal

The wide pickups are the way to go but you still need to drive from side to side to keep the bale square from side to side. They have not had a problem with bunching hay anymore then the windrow might have bunches in it. It is a variable chamber baler so the flexibility is there to make any diameter that you might want.

This happened to me last year, I found that the wires were actually pulled loose from the snap-together coupler. You have to look really closely to find the trouble. After you do find and fix it, make sure you tuck the wires back up and keep them in place with wire-ties or tape. Also, if you can find or make a shield for beneath the platform this will help alot. I just purchased an L245 that has problems with the PTO not spinning when pressure on it and the 3pt won't go down. I have taken all the items off needed to pull apart the rear transmission. I pulled the filter screen and found it full of garbage (paint chips, metal fragments) must be years of accumulation. Now I want to separate the tractor but the IT shop manual doesn't give much clue for a newbie? Every thing blocked up, nuts out, How is the best way to get the halves to separate?<br>

The problem with the PTO seem to be the over running clutch since we can turn the pto backwards. I plant to remove and inspect. Thanks for your comments

The deck is bumping up against the upper stops, it is ajustible. If Read your owners manual it in ther under deck ajustments.

My dealer is offering Woods 6500 BH for better price. He wants 7500 for BH 75. He quoted 6200 over the phone, then he denied it.
For woods 6500 he wants 5200. can I buy it on the NET. Product AND price.

I was in Sikeston 2 months ago...............and I was going to buy something from them , but I did not have a tractor at that time, and I was not sure what I was going to do, so I did not buy anything.
I might go down to AR in September. I did not know , that they will do a " custom" frame. I'd like to paint it and finish it myself. My own wiring, my own stop lights, etc.

It's highly unlikely that your problems are caused by air in the system. Very few hydraulic systems are totally sealed. You probably have a fluid reservoir in your system, which would eliminate any air in the system.

More likely, you are either low on fluid, or the fluid filter is all but completely plugged. You could also have water in the hyd. fluid.

I would start by completely draining the hydraulic fluid and replacing the filter, and then add a new batch of the prescribed hydraulic fluid to the system.

Since this piece of equipment is new to you, this is the best place to start. More than likely, the fluid and filter needs to be changed anyway.

Yeah, now my HP LaserJet 1012 does not work on Vista. HP Web site says it is supposed to be supported. But it is not in the Vista list when I go to add the printer. The printer is on another computer and shared and the Vista computer sees it - but when I click on it it sends an error message. I read on the internet that other people with the HP 1012 have this problem also and that HP says Microsoft has to fix the problem.

You could probaby rent a box blade for not much for a day.

I also have a landscape rake and it might work if the soil was sandy. If it is hardpack at all it will not cut into the soil enough to move much dirt. My landscape rake will move some soil if it is already loosened by my box blade but you just don't have enough control over where you want to place the dirt. If it works at all, it would take some time and you would likely never be happy with a smooth, even finish that a box blade will give you.
