Ken is right, if you put the cursor over an ad and right click, then select properties, you will see the ads come from a whole different (and presumably much faster) server than does TP itself.

But for the record, I have the same thing here, ads come up, then a second later the rest of the forum.

As of this minute, I am running at 2 mbps download speed, which is pretty typical here.

At the time of purchase,my dealer(salesman) suggested I have a checkup before the two year warranty expires on my B7800. (4690BH. 402 loader).I could combine this with the 50 hour service(low hours),even though the engine oil was changed by me last fall. What do others do? I have all the filters and certainly could do it myself.Would have to be a service call,don't have a trailer. No problems really,just a peace of mind thing I quess.

Maybe, kinda, sorta........

If he was plowing snow in up-state NY, Montana or Alaska I mighta thrown in a few proviso's.

But TX is not known for heavy sustained snowfalls that might overpower a small(60") blade. I know they can get wind-blown drifts there, but that is a problem that can be addressed with a FEL.

I suspect his snowfall patterns are similar to the high plains where I live and a proper plow on a 24 horse tractor works well here.

But I'm just sayin........

I am looking for the Belt Part Nr and Spec (length & size) for the 72" Mover Deck B173. <br>
The Operators Manual does not give these details. The dealer is asking me for the length. Need to replace the belt, but can not determine the length without taking it out! <br>
This is a big job since the Mover needs to be removed from the tractor.

All good ideas here. Harvey is right, some geese will keep them well back too.

It's funny, Deputy Dog & I have a pretty regular gig going around here, whenever there's a big golf tournament they bring us in to keep the course clear of geese, we were away 3 days last week doing just that. He loves the job, or maybe it's just riding around in the golf cart, but he does a great job and everybody loves him. He also makes a few bucks bringing me a good bucket of pricey golf balls to boot!!!

The funny part is now that we're clearing geese, the courses all have more weeds, so now they need to hire us to clear them too.

God I love capitalism, LOL.

I don't see the height as an issue, especially if the trailer has fairly heavy suspension, 7,000+ pounds. A tractor is, relatively speaking, pretty narrow, generally less than 5' wide, and even then most of the weight, engine, trans, etc., is on the centerline.

I do agree with DRankins concern though, I beleive an F150 will be out of it's towing limits with that rig. It wouldn't take much of a heavy duty trailer to be 2,000 pounds, the tractor is another 2,500 pounds, the FEL another 500 pounds. We're at 5,000 pounds and we haven't even added any implements yet.

Without brakes working 100% on both truck & trailer, I wouldn't even take it down the driveway.

I'd have to say I've not seen auto trans fluid used for a hydro before but someone probably has. I wouldn't use anything but Super UDT in them even with past belief that the Case IH Hytran was the best in the past but I've seen where it hasn't worked as good as the UDT when changing out.

Just to throw in on the whole issue of using none kubota filters

Because Im 5hrs from the nearest dealer I have been hopping to buy aftermarket filters for my B1550 and so I managed to get the fram eqivelent it was interesting when I removed the filter which was a fram I noticed that the filter had collapsed. I was also told by the parts guy at the nearest kubota dealer that they use to sell WIX filters at about half the price of the Kubota ones. I would strongly recomend that you stay away form FRAM filters

Well I did it! Separated the tractor and pulled the HST out. The shifting fork was completely broke off laying in the bottom of the transmission case and there were 2 gears chewed beyond repair. Parts coming this week hope to have running by weekend. Thanks for all the input!

And when you do it yourself, you learn a whole lot about your machine and discover things not mentiond in your owners manual. Tackle one job at a time, so that you don't forget to replace fluids and drain plugs. The first fluid change will have really tight filters, nuts and seals to loosen, I'm not sure what they do at the factory but everything seems to exceed normal torque settings.

Joel; I've really never made a business of tilling small garden patches, just an occasional one now and then in our small town. It usually takes longer to get there than the tilling time involved. If it is a spot that has been a garden for years it will normally be rock and root free, those are the easy ones, a hundred bucks an hour for how ever long they want you to stay, usually fifteen to thirty minutes you are done. Be wary of someone wanting new ground tilled for the first time, no telling what you may encounter, rocks, roots, scrap iron, I've found it all just on my own property. You can't charge enough to come out unless the customer agrees to cover any damage to your machine. I learned some of this the hard way during my custom soybean combining days, always look the job over on a first time customer before you commit to doing it. Happy tilling. Frank.

A friend of mine was clearing woods with his BX, front loader and backhoe. Somehow, brush punched a hole in the oil filter, so he unknowingly ran it without oil for some time. Put a new filter on, filled her with oil and away he went. One tough machine.

It's possible you bent the threaded nipple out of whack. I have actually broken nipples off on larger machines by tightening too much.

Try installing the filter just before the seal touches then slip a dollar bill or feeler gage front to back left to right to see if the filter is going on straight.

BTW, I did the same thing to my TC33D so don't feel bad--didn't end up with a leak though.

I'm a blue guy but most systems are pretty much the same...the pulsing raises concern that you are feeling the pump pistons developing pressure in their cavities or the motor pistons being pushed by the pump pistons, that's not normal. There is a certain degree of pulsing but it really can't be felt with a properly damped anti-vibration system between the rocker shaft of the pump that makes you go back and forth and the pedal.

There is usually a charge line or circuit that uses a small amount of pump pressure to force the pistons toward the internal swash plate that creates the variable speeds. If that pressure isn't there the pistons are free to move as they wish to a certain degree.

I'd seek out a good hydraulic reapir shop for testing.

I'd also look at the mechanical coupling between the drive motor and the rear axle (if you can see one)
