Art the receiver tube for a trailer ball is meant only for moving trailers around the yard that I know the positive tongue weight of (versus negative weight which will lift the hitch). The reciver tube could also be used to install a vertical tube to be used as a quick boom crane. And since I have hydraulic top link it make the crane idea ene more usefull from loading the generator in the pickup to toting tree transplants around.

But I'm jis' sayin'...

I can't remember if that model engine had a oil cooler but they sometimes will leak one way or the other. Normally they leak when running and it would be oil at the higher pressure when hot then when cold into the anti-freeze. Thirty and forty series did have a weak radiator system. They required replacement more often then not and over heating was a problem.

The bigger question is how did water get there in the first place? Under normal use my 60-some-year-old Fordson had decent looking oil. Eventually the pump blew apart. When I took it apart there were iron icecicles hanging from under the 3pt hitch cylinder cover---a few were so big and long that they fell off and into the pump which caused it break apart.

Bush hogging may be slow but it chops up the material to a good degree which helps with its break down and being reabsorbed into the soil. The disk mower cuts it down in one long stem or stalk which tends to lay down in a particular direction or orientation which tends to block out sun light and kill the grass underneith in many cases. Buy a bigger bush hog or endure the longer cutting time.

It is not the chicklet. DO NOT replace the fuel control solenoid.

It is a design flaw in the solenoid. Here is what happens:
You get your tractor all warmed up, and the engine oil fills the solenoid. You shut the engine down and when you try to restart it...the oil inside the solenoid prevents the rod from retracting properly. So you get out your 10mm wrench and snatch the solenoid, manually pus it in, and viola..you are in business.

If that is your problem, I have a solution for you. There are 3 wires feeding the solenoid. The black on is the ground, the red one is the "hold in" and the white one is the "pull in". Skin the white one enough that you can connect a piece of insulated wire to it. I used red wire because that's what I had handy. When the tractor is hot and it is playing the "I aint gonna start game" take your jumper wire and briefly GROUND it out. Don't worry it won't shock you or anything...but for whatever reason, grounding the wire seems to make the "pull in" circuit pull in again. I dunno why because it seemed to me that you would have to touch it to the positive battery terminal to accomplish this. I tried that and it did not work, but grounding it does. I promise!

Even my dealer's parts man had to laugh:

The wheel assembly (#10 in the parts photo) is NLA.
But suprisingly one may purchase the rim for $241, the inner wheel that the rim attaches to is another $220 and then all of the bolts and don't forget the valve stem as it is sold seperately too.....

YUP...about $600 something or odd bucks per wheel. That doesn't include the tire.

I'm sorry but a 10" X 24" steel wheel should not be priced that way in earnest.

Ergo I seek somebody who wants my rear turf tires and wheels.

I have a L3130 tractor and I would like a 62" front mounted snowthrower. I live in Alaska and we get many feet of snow. I have a 5ft blade on my four wheeler but it takes 2-3 hours to plow snow. It builds up so high that I have to push over and over again. This is why I upgraded to a big tractor and a big snowthrower. Where can I find one or does anyone have one for sale?

I just joined the board and have been reading awhile. I finally purchased a 2006 left over L3130 with the 723 loader. It came with mid pto, service manual, loader, industrial tires, ballast box, grill guard, all for 17,250 here in Alaska. So far tractor is a big step over the BX1800 that I just sold. Price sound good?

Murf that reminds me a of a joke I heard in Looooosiana. Beaudro and Tibideau were hunting deer one day and shot a big buck. They grabbed it by the horns and started pulling it back to the truck which wasn't too far away, but the rack was so big it got caught on the branches making it hard to pull it. They were almost to the truck when they were out of breath and dead tired. Another hunter happens along the way and sees their dilema. He says, "Bras (Cajun for "brothers") why dun't yous guys pull it from da back legs so it dun't gets caught on da branches?". Beaudro and Tibideau looked at each other with glee, and grabbed the rear legs and started pulling. "Wow bra--dis is so easy now" they exclaimed and were never seen again. (editor's note: This was probably based on a true story tehehehe)

(Kenny, yer being from da sout eh, I know yer a lil' slow on da up-take so I'll spell it out fer ya: They didn't turn the deer around.)

Assuming you mean it bounces while standing still...I could be wrong but I think there is a problem with the valving issue under warranty. (Disclaimer: Might be a different make with a similar problem). There are other posts regarding this issue, if you want to do a search. Call your dealer's service dept. manager.

If you have nimble fingers and good eye sight you might want to get a set of brass dental instruments that are used for removing/installing seals. You may be able to slip the tool inbetween the rod and the seal and poke around. Just be careful not to rip the seal poking around.

Actually I had the impingement surgery done once on each shoulder and the third surgery was to trim back the end of the collar bone on one side.

My muscles had overpowered the tip of the collar bone and sort of mashed it.

My current complaint(which kind of comes and goes at this point)is the same deal with the collar bone on the other side.

I think you will be very impressed as well as satisfied with the 192T Ken. It sure did make a BIG difference in how much and how fast I could cut up large tree tops as well as limbs up to about 8 inches in diameter but I try to stick with nothing more than about 4 inches and save the larger stuff for the O-66.

Just another lesson learned from the "Frank's Blunders" list. If you are going a short distance 50-75 ft. or less with a tench in someones front yard especially if it is your own and the wife gets upset real bad anytime she ses a machine that can destroy her lawn AGAIN. Plastic electrical conduit is free compared to facing the "WHY the H*** are you tearing up my lawn again" thing and cold suppers for a week. Just toss in an empty conduit or even two, it just makes for a cozy relationship. Happy diging. Frank.

The $900 part makes believe they'll take a lot less maybe $900 to a $1000 perhaps depending on your market.

Price seems fair. (I have a '02 TC33D I paid $13,500 for new).

Oddly you can buy a realy nice full size backhoe laoder for that much. But I digress.

What are you doing with it?
