A lot of the ads are placed on Tractor internet sites by dealers, just like autotrader.com does. But there are some individual ads. Either way, It might help you decided on what you can afford and what's out there to get.<br>

Like anything else, hours on the equipment is a relative issue. If it is well maintained, a high hour tractor may be in great condition. I have seen tractors at equipment auctions that I would give a quarter for even though the hours were not bad because they had been abused.

You might ask them to show you in the operators manual where it says the operator is supposed to disengage the PTO when turning.

I've lived in North Dakota most of my life. I was born here, and only left for a few years while I served in the Army. I came back, because I've lived in a lot of different places, and none of them compare to the peace and quite; the lack of crime; the clean air and water; or the deserted fishing ramps we have here.

I'm surprised that you give North Dakota such a high rating. July is prime mosquito month in North Dakota. A trip up here in January would definitely change your rating of the place. However, when I factor in all of the other issues, such as those I listed above (in addition to land prices, taxes, government, etc.) I can't find another State that comes close to providing the quality of life I enjoy here.

We all complain about something. We have to. It's part of being human. However, I don't complain much. I don't have much to complain about.

Ventured out into the snow (nearly slipped and fell on the ice that's on my steps) to set up my water pump in my "water collection facility"also known as my garden. Pumping water at a rate of about 1500 gallons per hour. Should have the garden pumped out in a day or three, provided my pump doesn't freeze and break, or we don't get any more rain. hehehe. (wishful thinking on my part.)

The general rule seems to be that 20% off MSRP is excellent, 10% is ok, and paying MSRP is nuts. Those prices look high to me, esp. the backhoe.

Only starting-related wiring - "underneath" - are the various OSHA (interlock) switches. But if the interlock wiring circuit was compromised, the solenoid couldn't be energized. We know that's working, otherwise the engine wouldn't be turning. <br>

On the Yanmar I had, I'm pretty sure the injection pump was driven by one or more fingers that were tripped by crankshaft rotation. Damage in that area can upset the fuel delivery sequence (timing). <br>

The Mrs. and I took flowers to the graves of our loved ones Friday afternoon. We're fortunate to have people, some paid some not who take excellent care of our cemeteries, they were all groomed to perfection. The American Legion people were there putting flags on the graves of all fallen militay, and puting up the "Avenue of the Flags". Sure makes us think of the freedoms we enjoy and those who gave it all to protect it. They can't help but be in Gods arms. Frank.

Another thoughtful neighbor gave my wife climbing roses. Great - because we are out of room for plants in my yard I had to install two sections of split rail fence today. We just about have an arboretum here. It looks beautiful here but I am exhausted. The tractor digs the holes but someone has to clean up with shovel and rake.

I think the engine rpm matches the natural frequency of the steering wheel, the wheel starts to resonate at low to idle rpms. I just bump up the idle a bit and it stops on my 755. It's been happening since I bought it at 300 hrs.

If I read it right you have 2x6's as the flooring---and you don't say what condition they're in or they're treated (treated lumber is 40% weaker than dried, non-treated. I don't see it being a problem providing the wood isn't treated or rotted.

I've operated my 8,200 lb. skid steer inside homes on the Gulf coast that were rotten due to Katrina, and rot due to old age and termites. Granted I could make about 5 or six runs back and forth until I tore up the flooring and fell through, but nontheless it held extremely well.

What kind of ramp do you have to bring you nearly 4 courses of block (three courses plus the floor joists)?

Primi You need to keep in mind that when they made it they had to have the most efficient way of priming it. And it won't be a problem once you find out how to do it.

SG you can also use a chain but it doesn't choke as well.

BTW, reminds me of kid in the neighborhood that kept pulling a chain around behind for hours on end. I stopped him after awhile and asked him why he was pulling the chain. He stopped and with a disgusted look on his face said, "Mister. You ever try pushing one?"

Sounds more like either the selector is out of adjustment, not allowing it to be fully engaged.

I am confused though, you say that a) it won't go in gear, and b) it pops out of gear after moving 3 or 4 feet. Which is it? Or do you mean it is ok in low, but pops out of high range after moving a bit?

Either way, it doesn't sound like more than an adjustment.

Now that you've resurrected the topic, my email notices stopped coming in a couple of weeks ago. I was getting them just fine when this thread was started, but then all of a sudden they just quit. I figured it was related to reconfiguring on your end. Now I'm wondering if it has to do with my account getting downgraded somehow. Losing premium status for whatever reason may have coincided with the email stoppage.<br>

A unit like that would make short work of five acres. Depending on trimming it should only take a little more then an hour with a 72" deck.

From time to time they have had some problems with the plastic tanks when assembling they would get small pieces that would plug the lines. Yours was easier to fix!!!
