Thanks but I don't understand this at all. The existing tilt cylinder at the rear of the tractor has two ports connected to two quick disconnect couplers. I was planning on disconnecting the two tilt cylinder hoses and connecting two hoses from the dump cylinder in it's place. Why won't this work?<br>

And how would a single port cylinder hook up to a two-port QD system? Hook to one port you have pressure, hook to the other you have return. How can one QD coupler do both?

Lift the seat forward, look for a cone-shaped coil spring at the rear of the seat support mounting plate. The switch will be loacted eiher in the center of the spring or to the side of it. The wire haness conncets directly to the switch. Voila!

If want to seal the wooden home made doors you might could use fiberglass on the edges. You should be able to wrap the edges.

A concern here is if you get the bottom of the doors sealed and there is a place higher where moisture can enter, it is locked inside the door. A good wooden boat builder or repair person should be able to help here. I think corvettes use a good bit of fiberglas so you might can handle yourself.

Steve, most of our fleet now sits on R4's for half the year, Art's comments about ride quality are right on the money. After taking off the turf's for the winter the guys all comment about how harsh the ride is again.

On another point, why would you have loaded R4's for cutting grass? Surely a 3pth ballast box would be a better option for turf work.

My 2002 F-150 had the tranny light flashing and also shifted very hard at eleven months and 11,000 miles. Turned out a part went bad, was a rare problem and I had to wait two weeks for parts. They also replaced the main computer as they thought it went out also.

All was covered under warranty and now I have 44,000 miles with no problems at all.

Charles I think what you are looking for is the three point hitch lift limits which are at the hitch points and at 24" to the rear.

I can't say that I've put one behind one yet but let me explain what I would reccomend. Behind the 22-24 version my preference is the 42" Kuhn for best job with the least amount of travel over sale soil. It is a good load and I'd recommend no more. Kubota only offers a 40" but as much as I trust Kubota for safe recommendations and knowing what works best I don't like their tiller as well as the Kuhn because they offer a slip clutch. That makes a big differencein stoney ground to a more effortless job. Pick your make but I believe in Mass you have a few stones but maybe not in your area but a slip clutch is nice, if you have Cape sand still don't try a 36 with 40 or less prefered.

Depending on the situation and your blades ability to rotate, rotate the blade and push it over the low areas, thus helping level them before the tractor gets to them.

You also can pull the dirt up to the low area and turn the tractor around without rotating the blade and you will probably will still be able to push a good bit of the dirt into the low area.

You did not mention or I missed it but it would appear your tractor does not have a draft option to where it trys to keep the load level, if you do this is the type of work it helps with.

What about trying a fuel injector cleaner first...something like Chevron "TECTRON", "BG 44K", etc. taking into account a reduced ratio into your tank because of less deisel being treated than in a truck etc. Not sure about the injector question as I have never removed them.

You did well to tackle that chore and have success. We often have to pick up the pieces and assemble them after people have attempted that job. It still might not hurt to have it flow rated if you get near the equipment or dealer. Good Luck!

It seems odd to me that any company would spend the extra time to match individual gauges to individual sending units. The parts probably aren't made by the same company so they'd have to ship them to a third location and set up a calibration shop to do that job. If the sender has a +/- tolerance they call it good and ship them. Same with the gauge. I imagine the resistance of the sending units varies with temperature so it would be easy for a manufacturer to bench check them with a meter (not that they all do). The parts should work fine together if all the wiring and connections are in good shape.

Thermostat in 4310 did nt help

Bought a load handler for my 1986 Dodge D 50 Pick Up at Wall Mart yesterday.
Tried it out this morning.
It sure beats shoveling the dirt off of the truck.
Don't know how many BX 23 loader buckets I can haul in it at a time.
So far 3 buckets in the truck is working pretty good and it sure beats hauling one bucket down the hill at a time with the BX.
Only problem I ran into was I couldn't get back up the front yard hill after unloading the last pickup load of dirt.
Would be nice if the D 50 was a 4 wheel drive.
Didn't know the LOAD HANDLERS worked so well or I would have had one a long time ago!

I don't know If I'm overloading my truck or not because I don't know what A BX23 loader of dirt weighs and I don't know the empty weight of my Dodge D 50. G V W is 4045 pounds.
