I have all the respect in the world for the flag, people who burn flags are despicable america-haters, but I will not cross the line of protecting a civic symbol against the 1st amendment guarantees.

There's another issue with the flag-burning amendment. Flag burning is clearly a political statement - and that is what 1st amendment is intended to defend. Why do we put so much effort into chipping away at the freedom of political speech when things like porn and cross-burning don't get a mention. Criminalize porn and cross-burning first - these are NOT forms of political speech. After you do that, come back to me about protecting the flag. Until you deal with indecency in American culture that has flourished under the 1st amendment guarantee, I don't want to hear about flag protection. How about we protect our children and Christian symbols first.

The confusion probably comes from those damned "international" icons used to depict switch positions. Those icons are universally indecipherable and thus fair to everyone. I've done the same thing on my Husky chainsaw.

Unlike my GREEN tractor, my dump trailer hydraulics do not leak down. It will stay partially extended(up)for weeks at a time.

In this case, even parking on a very slight slope will keep it drained, especially if the metal does not go up the sidewalls.

Did the cops car have a video camera? If so it should prove your case. At least on atttitude. If it has a camera and there is no tape, I would ask why? Would think a jury would wonder also.

Is it possible there was a sign for the intersection and the hay load blocked your view of it? If the cop was sitting on a road then it probably was an intersection.

I have no idea how hard it could be to be a cop alone in the field. You have no idea what he had just run into or a buddy of his did.

We all expect them to be professional but they are humans and often have a chip to prove they are the MAN.

I don't know the tractors you are talking about but a thought hit me from my ztr and wonder if it could apply to your tractor.

There is a combo of park brake and controls that does allow the blade to run with you off the seat because the mower can not be moved. Wonder if that could be true on your tractor? Such as out of grear and park brake set?

No doubt you have asked and read your manual. I am not sure the info for my mower was in the manual or the dealer just happened to tell me.

Broad rule of thumb, but turbos are usually a good thing for a 4 stroke cycle diesel. The increased air flow (scavenging) under load helps cool the combustion chamber, result in more complete combustion and sweeps the combustion products out better. Agree that as a power adder to small gasoline engines, they tend to shorten life. But pay attention to cautions about allowing engine a minute or two to warm up and a few minutes to cool down, good for any diesel, but especially to cool the turbo.

All the major manufacturers build several different mdels to cover the needs of different jobs. It is important to buy a brand that is prominate in the market place as when they are twenty years old and they break a part and it's no longer available it's a sad day! There are different things that give some longevity to the life of a cutter or it turns into additional maintence later.

The middle range at about 2/3rd's to 3/4 throttle will get you started and you can fine tune ground speed and throttle from there to your preference.

The trailer is assembled. Took about three hours, one trip to the store and $4 worth of bolts, nuts and washers. Not a bad little trailer. A little minor reengineering was required but she's ready to go. Just need to order the hydraulics now.

I put the loader on my 2210 and have never been sorry. It's a real workhorse and does a thousand odd jobs. Yesterday I had a 15 gallon sprayer tank in it and I sprayed my trees from the drivers seat.

If you don't want the loader then downsize to a strong Garden Tractor. But, you'll be missing lots of fun! There's always another project on my 5 acres or for my neighbors.

The same applies to the tailgate, it has been proven in wind tunnel testing, and by the TV show Myth Busters (LOL) that driving with the tail gate down actually uses more fuel, not less.

As for the snow plow, almost all of ours are V-plows now, they have very little efect on the airflow to the rad, even fully raised, since there is a huge gap in the middle underneath.

They also partially equalize the impact when you hit a deep puddle!! LOL.

They also make launching small drifts across a road or driveway fun!!
