I feel you need to ask yourself, " How many times am I going to be cutting heavy brush over 2"? If your answer is like most folks, " Not more than once or twice" then you need to evaluate how much money you want to spend. A meduim duty cutter would suit you fine if your like most home/farm owners. (If you have larger plans than dis-regaurd this). It always nice to have the biggest and best out there if you have the free cash flow and can afford a luxury you may never really need? A meduim duty cutter will take down alot of brush, maybe not as fast as the heavy duty one but if your talkin UP TOO 2" brush and only a couple of time??? I feel save some money and get the meduim duty cutter.
The price difference between a heavy and the meduim is huge,,, like almost 1/3 more!!! on the ones I looked into. You do get a heck of a cutter though if you do choose to go large!

I have the 6 foot KK. Used it on my heavy soil that is full of rocks. At points I'd swear I was tilling a gravel pit. Tiller stopped many times with 6" rocks jammed between the top and the tines. A few bumps and bruises on the steel but all in all a hell of a job. My land is about as hard on a tiller as you would want to put it thru and the KK worked great. Like others have said. In sandy soil you will be fine with one slow pass. I have the NH gear tc40 and the slowest speed is way to slow. I need to go up to the 3rd slowest (3 from the bottom speed). A tilled field is ideal (almost too ideal) but if your soil is sandy you wont need to worry about that. In heavy soil and or in soil that has live growing ground cover (heavy sod or clover etc) it will be necesary to make multiple passes. In that case you would benifit from a spraying of glysophate 41% 2 weeks before this will help dramatically while also helping control your weeds.

WW: It was a european company that was featured in either Popular Mechanics or Mechanics Illustrated. mIt was one of thise little blipstowards the rear of the mag that took up enough space for a 2x2" photo and a caption. As I reacll the truck was about 4 feet tall or wahtever it would take to fit under a european semi trailer. I t was touted as a space saver for the crowded city streets since it didn't need a tractor out front to pull it.

I bought a generator from Northern too. It was backordered when the order was placed. When it finally came the packaging was fine but they charged my credit card ~$500 more than the total price on my printed copy of the order summary. I complained and they said "price increase, outside our control". When I started complaining loudly in some of the online news groups, a Northern rep called to apologize and they credited my card.

To bring everyone up to date - someone had suggested that I might be sucking air in some how, check the fuel lines. Well, since I was there I replaced all the line from the tank to the engine. Although none of the old ones looked bad, this did solve the severe power cycling up and down. Since it would occur after about 20 minutes of operation, maybe the heat of the engine would open something up.<br>

Mowed with it about 1 1/2 hours and the only thing I noticed was the engine seemed to labor a bit, nothing like before, when mowing uphill about a 15 degree slope. Runs fine on the flat. Maybe I'm just paranoid. I t'd a fuel pressure guage into the line right after the fuel pump. On the flat it reads 3-3.2 psi. Running upslope it drops to 2.8-2.9. Does anyone have a feel for this being normal variation or should I think about replacing the fuel pump as well.<br>

I put the loader on my 2210 and have never been sorry. It's a real workhorse and does a thousand odd jobs. Yesterday I had a 15 gallon sprayer tank in it and I sprayed my trees from the drivers seat.

If you don't want the loader then downsize to a strong Garden Tractor. But, you'll be missing lots of fun! There's always another project on my 5 acres or for my neighbors.

$Peters An African American (screw that) A balck man broke into my White senior citizens house and clocked him in the head with a house brick (121 stitches), He knew the man was white and he knew the man was over 80 yrs old before he broke into the house ( we all saw him walk thru the alley earlier in the day and look directly at the old man trimming his roses) later that night (it was 85 degrees) he came thru his window to take the mans wallet. Why did he not go into the house next to this guys? Could it be because that person who lives in that house is black and about 40 yrs old???? Me thinks this thug was a black racist. Number 2 Two 16 yr old white boys from my school ran out of gas on the other side of town. They decided to walk home to get a can for gas (no cell phone and wouldnt you know it,,, all the pay phones in the ghetto were not functioning) They had to walk thru the central city where we live (about 25 blocks) They never made it! They were jumped by 4 black boys 13 years old and 300# a piece about 6 foot tall all of them were!! One white boy had a broken jaw and three busted ribs. The other lost all his front teeth. WHY??? because they were white! Please Peters with all due respect, anyone who wants to preach racism in this day and age can kiss my white ass!! For the most part, your story about the cops conspiring against a black boy is bull shit. Theres way more racism on the other side than what is coming from the white boys now a day! Is there white against black racism in this country? YES but only a fraction as much as the other way around, just walk thru a ghetto some after noon. Think of it this way. Whats the chances of a black girl walking thru your a white neighborhood at about 9pm and getting thru pretty much un harmed? The same applies to the tailgate, it has been proven in wind tunnel testing, and by the TV show Myth Busters (LOL) that driving with the tail gate down actually uses more fuel, not less.

As for the snow plow, almost all of ours are V-plows now, they have very little efect on the airflow to the rad, even fully raised, since there is a huge gap in the middle underneath.

They also partially equalize the impact when you hit a deep puddle!! LOL.

They also make launching small drifts across a road or driveway fun!!

I have put 30 hrs on my ST30x. I like it alot. It has a FEL and I run a 6' brush hog and a 6' box blade. The power is more than enough. I use a KK middle buster to break ground that has laid fallow for about 50 years. I only wish I had ag tires, I tend to run out of traction before I run out of power. I use about 1 gallon per hr no matter what I am doing.

I have a room with T & G cedar. One of the walls has them at a 45 degree angle. The others are horizontal. I used a natural min-wax stain on the cedar and then covered it with two coats of poly in a satin finish. I had the boards sanded at the shop to get them smooth. I have Andersen windows and patio doors. They are trimmed in pine. I matched this with a birch min-wax stain for an almost perfect color match. This room is adjacent to our kitchen and somewhat open. We have hickory kitchen cabinets done in a honey stain. This all matches quite well. The cathredal ceiling is done in white to keep it bright. Lots of windows with white vertical blinds. That turned out well. We have a table and hutch that has some light birch stain mixed with a white finish that also blends.

Great tractor .
I bought my TC 30 , R4 tires , Hydrostat, Fel loader, Mid mount mower 4x4 , $16500. ? If I rememember right .
All 5 foot implements.
I also bought a Tiller , and brush hog and rear blade .
Next will be getting a york rake and maybe back hoe ???
Surprising how close I can mow to the edges of trees, decks etc. .
Look into the full cover insurance for abought $140. a year with financing .
I took mine out for 5 years 0% finance charge for that reason .

glad you enjoyed your ride. but I couldnt come to terms with spending the extra couple grand for the 2210 against the gc2310 tlb. I had three of these machines in my yard and worked all of them "very hard" for a demo " mr kuboto bx2300, jd2210, and the masse gc2310 tlb". the backhoe for the masse is what sold the machine and the price. and they gave me a 4 year warranty<br>
sorry but I couldnt spend the green on the green machine.<br>
now I have 680 hours on the 1 1/2 year old machine and it still runs as the day I bought it.

We just got a letter fron Sentry insurance company. (We do not have Sentry nor have we ever had that company for insyrance or anything else) They told us that they had a employee that stole information, our (my wifes) info was one of the stolen ID's. They want us to put a fraud alert on her credit reports and to watch it closesly. They said they will pay for any "checks" we need to get to make sure!
What happened 7 years ago,,, My wife had a workers comp claim from her work. She was off for about 2 months. Thats it!!! Sentry handled that claim and never destoyed her info! This world (country) is gunna have probs if we dont start making it madatory for companys to destroy info after a certain amount of time!!!

Land Pride has done a good job for me, I don't use it on the front lawn, just road ditches and farmyards. It would work fine on the front yard but it is too wide to do a real level job. I've got several of their products and all have been top notch. Frank.
