I had a Land Pride and I went to a Bulher Farm King. There are a number of good mowers I would look at what is available in your area and then look for the best value for the money.

Thanks for all the responses. I picked up the kit from the NH dealer today. I'm going to wait for the heat to break to install it and change the hydraulic oil.

As PETERS said, Bush Hog is the inventor of the modern-day heavy brush cutter. You should be able to get a Model 12 (the original) for under $3,000 with front and rear chain guards. Mine appears to be bullet-proof.

I'd say buy it. I got a TC30 Hydro with FEL in the spring of 2005 for $15,600. Added a BushHog Model 12 rotary mower for another $2,280 and a New Holland tiller for $1,735. The TC30 does everything I ask of it.

EW There are large building with metal frames and small building with metal studds. We have a system that has a space frame which is built out of welded subcomponents. Rather than building the factory in one location and shipping all the steel twice, we were considering making the factory mobile in shipping containers.
I was just making an illusion to the future economy with the factories mobile to look for new areas for tax breaks and cheap labor.
As long as these multinationals can appear ethical they will remain creating sweat shops in the third world. If they could cut the supply line and have the slave labor here they would.
I have had the same problem with day laborers here. I had about 6 young men promise me they would be here tomorrow and never show up. I finally found someone that was reliable.
It seems young people are only interested in good pay and no work. Computer fantacy is there reality.

I bought a brand new gc 2300 with a loader, belly mower and bush hog. I hav had nothing but trouble from it. every time i use the three point it causes the loader valve to blow out. after talking with the service rep. he told me I was ahead of the ball game, another guy who has one is already on his 5th one. well to add to it, it causes the loader to pressurize sending it straight up and you cannot get it to go down. I have tried talking to massey about this and their response is to trade me another one, based on the value of my original one and charge me the difference. this has hurt my credit and I will have to suit them to get my money back. be for warned!!!!
I am still trying to get out of this deal and it has been months in the process!!!!

Back in 78, I was crossing I-80, heading East and I was stopped somewhere in the Midwest. My wife and I both saw a tractor trailer heading West and the funny thing about the tractor was it was a Wedge shape and was lower than the trailer, the driver seemed to have had to drive while somewhat inclined on his back. <br>
Does anyone have any info on these trucks, I would like to find a photo on the internet, but have had No luck searching "odd photos of 18 wheelers etc" maybe if I had a name I could find it better.<br>

can't vouch for BX but my L3130GST W/RC72-38MMM which is a 72" cut, has no problem with 9" wet grass and is a monster also and a pleasure to mow with. easy on and off if you have a front loader. very heavy duty deck!!!!!!

Thanks Kirby for the detail on the BH and the price, also clearifying the specifics on the 2520 vrs 2320. Sounds like you (almost) have a nice setup (like me, almost, someday).
My JD dealer did tell me that JD essentially introduced the 2520 in response to a Kubota model - mybe the B2630.....
Anyway, I used to own an old BH on a Ford tractor and had much fun with it......have fun

I paid 29,500 for a new deluxe cab radio kit 60" mmm 300 cx loader 4n1 bucket electric diverter valve r3 tires trust me the extra for cab is worth every penny. If you wanted just the std loader and bucket that would take about 1500 to 2000 off the 29,500.

We have had more rain than normal here in NY hudson valley. But given that previous years have been dry - this amount of rain is just right. Unfortunately right now we are going through the 2 day hot spell. It was 104 and humid in the parking lot where I work today. More of the same tomorrow - then a "cooling" trend towards 90, 85 Thursday and Friday.

Did you use car shows in order to represent bulk. they say that there is someone for everyone. Love comes in all sizes, if you don't show it, it might pass you by. Speedos are not for me. I'm a throw back to the 60's and 70's surfer baggies and cut offs. Shirts worn out side.

I think the important thing in all of this is to bear in mind, the right tool for the right job is critical.

You don't use a hatchet to cut down a forest, or a sub-CUT to farm a thousand acres.

If you need the capability to carry & dump an amount within your trucks GVWR on a regular basis, then a slide-in dump is a good option.

Likewise, if you only ever have to carry a few thousand pounds, a semi-truck is not the best choice.

If you do snow removal work then so much the better, a slide-in unit makes a dandy sander, if the truck is equipped with a snowplow you can often save some $$$ by using the plows hydraulics instead of buying a second set.

The prices of such are pushing 4000. They are limited to the truck for capacity and they do work well for lighter loads as they are limited by design and they are a hydro-electric dump.

I bought the deck today. It was from a 2005 BX23 and it fit perfectly. It is like new and I got a great deal on it for 800 bucks. I now won't feel so guilty having an expensive tractor siting in the barn. I can use it to cut the grass. I was missing the front bracket that ataches the the tractor. I was around 30 bucks in parts and I'm ready to go.

Believe it or not the guy had a 2005 BX23 and he sold it and the guy he bought it from didn't want the deck- go figure. I've been looking for a used one for 2 years and finally found it.
