One more thing i don't think the cabs are selling as well as JD expected so you may even get a better deal that you think on the cab model if you have a need for a cab.

The bidders should have spotted that one: Tractor ships from the United Kingdom, but seller describes it as a backhoe and "turning on a dime" both very American expressions. Landscape also looks distinctly un-British.

I've never been able to follow JD model numbers. All three models have slightly different sizes and ratings. The 2305 is 24 HP with 57.1" wheelbase and 35.6" front tread width. The 2320 is also 24HP but with 63" wheelbase and 31.1" front tread width. The 2520 is 26.5 HP with 65.2" wheelbase and 32.7 front tread. The smallest of them all seems to be the 2305 with limited category 1 three point having a 681lb. lift capacity 24" behind the lift arms. The 2320 and 2520 both are rated as category 1 with 1150lb lift capacity at 24" behind lift arms.

Haven't seen the tractors in person but suspect the 2305 is physically a little smaller.

You also mentiond 4wd. I love 4wd on my 4310. Oh yeah babay!! My first tractor was 2wd and I would get it stuck or have it slip on wet grass when carrying a heavy loader load. Now with 4wd, I can do more and go places I couldn't with the 2wd. Especially for clearing snow. I love the 4wd. I haven't had to use the loader to get me unstuck yet.

It's surprisingly painless right now. Could be the Ibuprofen. No issues with getting bandage in the shoe. Shoe is very comfortable and has spacious toe room.

The blood and stuff just doesn't bother me. But I did a stint in the medical field so I've worked on cadavers and such. Nothing like spending a day with a cadaver leg and looking at your co-workers and asking "How does ribs sound tonight?"

You need to use a synthetic approved for diesels. Check the posts as there has been a lot of discussion on the oils, pros and cons. Delvac 1 is propably the best of commercial oils. JD and Kubota brand there own. Most of the synthetic oils are 5W-40 or better and can be used year round.

Does anyone know where one might get a hyd schmatic for the Mitsubisi tractors? I'm sure they are all pretty much the same. <br>
I have a problem with the 3 point raising. (no pressure)I,ve cleaned the filter and change fluid twice. It will work for awhile then all of sudden just quit. I checked on pressure line going into trans side, got pressure but none at other side. Pulled valve and cleaned, still nothing. My plan is to pull top plate and check internally. I'm concerned about how the top plate comes off. (anything I should be concerned about when I start disassembly?)

Your tractor is an open center system. The 3-point hydraulics are not external to the tractor(the hydrauics that actuate the 3-point lift, so you wouldn't see hoses. are you describing a remote system that is already on the tractor?

The best way to run a remote circuit is from a power beyond port on either an existing valve or the hydraulic block on the tractor. All four way spool valves require 4 ports to operate. In - out - and two pressure work ports. With an open ceter system, you need to make sure you don't dead-head the pump, or use exhaust flow to try to run a circuit.

Take a look at our pics. The remote system on this tractor is run off the FEL PB. The plugs and hoses are all run under the tractor, and up along the drivetrain.

If you can describe exactly where the 3-hoses that come from the back of the tractor are that you were describing, I'm sure we could figure out a circuit that would work for you.

Doesn't sound too bad to me. If they're giving you the loader and mower for $4000, that means $12700 for the tractor...That's about what I paid for my TC29 with standard transmission in 2000.

If that is their first offer, they could probably do better.

Hydraulic plate means there is one hydraulic cylinder connected to the locking pins where the levers would normally be to lock the attachment. It makes life much easier by changing attachments in seconds from inside the cab versus getting in and out. Anything requiring hydraulics still requires getting out to hook them up like a snow blower---these are "aux. hydraulics" located on the left boom arm, which are a standard feature. But like I said there is a hybrid hydraulic plate available from NH Parts that connects to the "Aux. hydraulics", but then you couldn't run a snow blower because it would lock or unlock the blower from the SS. The cab/heater is great for what you're using it for. I can use mine in 95 degree weather and still freel reasonably comfortable. The filters I found are interchangable with car engine air filters for $3.50 each.

I still think a used big LS180 is the way to go.

NH is not reliable when releasing new model years from my exp. It took me 5 months to get my LS185.b because the factory messed up my order 4 times before they got it right. d They're not like cars "ooooh the new '07's are out"---it's more like it was made on a certain date and that's it---no hoopla. I have to think a dealer might be gun-shy to order an '07 when he's got several '06 or even '05 on the lot. They have 30 days to sell them before they start paying interest to CNH Credit, so my dealer told me. That said I'd be looking for one from your dealer that they have been paying interest on and want to dump it and CNH may even help them out on the employee price to help them move it---dunno.

I agree with you Murf. I've got a backhoe with a thumb but it's 1200 miles away. I've seen those drop hammers like you're talking about; they're pretty effective. I've used a skid steer with a hydraulic breaker on it to demolish an inground pool that had Gunite 2' thick and 5 layers of rebar in places. I'm going to give the piling drop weight a shot and see what happens. Also, pallet forks ar very effective fr breaking (lifting and flipping) concrete flat work. As far as having concerte off the soil yes that's true to. I've seen a study that it takes 4 times the impact energy to break concrete that is contacting soil as the energy travels through the concrete and dissipates into the surrounding soil versus concentrating into the concrete resulting in breakage. Down here in Miss. they use what are called "chain walls" wchich are slab floors with thicker outer egdes. Some of these have 3'x4' oter edges that have rebar the thickness of my wrist--somtimes two to four of them. In hindsite, these over-built footers did absolutely nothing to preserve the homes on the Gulf when 30 feet of storm surge water came through here. In many cases al that was left were the anchor bolts---no bottom plates at all.

Ihookem; I don't know the specifics about Kubota filter systems but that first early hour fluid and filter change are probably the most important in prolonging the lifetime of your tractor. Any new machine will have bits of metal or casting sand that did'nt get completly flushed during manufacturing. Frank.

Hi Just joined today and would like advice. I am looking at a Grey mkt L 1501 DT Kubota. It has a nice FEL and a Kelley B600 Back hoe. All looks to be in very good shape. Claims to be 650 hours on it. <br>
I have no Idea what the price should be but won't pay the $10,000 he is asking. <br>
What is a Kelley B600 Hoe worth? and how much is a FEL for this machine worth.<br>

I've gotta say that Kody at Polaris Sport is right on top of customer service. He answered my questions quickly. Here's some additional info on the HDP-2000 dump trailer he provided.<br>

- There is no dealer that stocks the trailer so no pre-sale examination is possible. It really sounds like they drop-ship them when ordered.<br>
<br>
- The dump feature only operates off the battery (not included by manufacturer). There is no provision for operating it off a smaller source like a trailer connector.<br>
<br>
- Only a 1 7/8" coupler is available at this time but it sounded like they were working on a 2" that isn't ready yet.<br>
<br>
- It doesn't have a tailgate<br>

- MSRP is $1654.53. At this time need to order through Northern or DR. I checked DR and they sell it for $1299 including the dump battery and will ship it for an estimated $99. Northern will sell it shipped w/o battery to Oregon for $1326.<br>

For my use it seems this model has some downsides. I'd like to be able to control the dump while driving forward and this would mean extending the control switch. Charging the battery between uses seems like a pain (it would be easier to use the tractor hydraulics and eliminate the battery while providing dump control from the seat). Lastly, maybe I'm wrong on this but it seems an adjustable tailgate of some sort would be useful to control the spreading of material. The Farm Tuff trailer from Northern doesn't have an adjustable tailgate, but it has a wooden one which would make it easy to modify. A plastic dump body isn't very easy to modify. But the Polaris would be a turnkey solution at a pretty good price. Decisions, decisions.

There are other reasons, it seems to be the strongest hydraulic system, and it is designed to operate at a lower RPM than the Kubota (2800 vs 3200), not sure about the NH. Also, it looks like the turn radius is tightest with Kubota and Massy, not sure about NH (can't find spec).<br>

So, the Massy is the most expensive of the three. I would welcome anyone's opinon on any of these three machines<br>
