Be sure to list the Insurance Companies and what they cover in your Will. I have no idea if my Mom had riders for her valuables. Her house blew up in a Gas Explosion and we didn't find much. So it may be a comfort for you to have the Insurance, but should your house burn down and you die will your Heirs know where to look and what to do?

Good one Art! She also correctly identified cutter's boat as a Silverton. I see that a google search on treadle pedal pops up most often on sewing machines, then old dental drills, then on Kubota. The first time I heard of Yanmar was, in fact, in the boating world. Lots of trawlers use the Yanmar. Unfortunately my little 21 footer would sink if it had a Yanmar engine.

I'd go with the Quick attach as cutting the bucket on both sides is labor intensive. That way you could go to another make company and find more economical priced attachments with comparable or better quality of build.

Check for leaks. Be sure the intake for air is clear and no insects have made it a home. No doubt you have checked the oil level for the compressor.

If it is running slow rpms and you don't have any belt slippage, I believe you will find it the compressor as electric motors don't normally just loss rpms. But then you did not say if it was an gas or electric driven or I missed it. My guess is it probably is not turning slow, rather the rings in the compressor is worn reducing the compression.

Either the PTO input shaft is not turning or some part of the linkage is broken inside that engages the pto.

The noise when you press the clutch pedal maybe clutch related ... if so the tractor will have to be split, not a real big shop be there is some do's and don'ts.

Something broken in linkage would require to remove the lift box under the seat ..... if you can do a head gasket you can do this........... pretty easy job.

Sounds like it has been a good tractor ..... should be a good tractor for another 10 years and still less than 10K

are you talking about the big pipe , with the o-ring that goes in bottom of the transmission. this big metal line also runs to hydralic oil filter.this o-ring is leaking where this pipe connects to bottom of transmission.

Yes the Challenger looks good from all sides.
It is hard to know what the GM designers are up to. Attached is the website for a Camaro group with the pictures of the concept car. Some amateur morphed the pictures of the concept car slightly and I would say it is a 100% improvement. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Personally the gen 1 Avalanche styling which they moved across the truck line was as bad as the Aztec.

If you are handy, you can make your own. Walk up and down your local railroad track and pick up loose spikes- you'll need about 4 dozen. Get pipe about 2 1/2" diameter O.D. and cut to length desired to make the harrows width. Cut the number of pipes to determine how many rows you want. With drill press drill a series of equally spaced holes like a foot apart that are a slight press fit with the rr spikes. Stagger them so rows 1, 2, 3 etc. all cut a different path. The rows should be about 1 to 11/2 ft. apart. Weld side straps to hold it together in a box. Tilt the holes (teeth) about 15 degrees from vertical so the tip of the spikes point rearward. Weld a length of chain to the front pipe section. If its weight isn't enough to get all the penetration you want, put a board on top and lay sinder blocks on it for weight.<br>

Pull it with a clevis thru the chain attached to your drawbar. Raising the 3point hitch to the desired height will adjust how hard the first row of spikes hits. If you put a cross bolt through the chain just behind the clevis to pinch it together it will stay centered.

I am sure there are some of you out there that can tell me where the pto switch is located on the 4200. I had to jumper the seat switch out to keep it running when off the seat even with the pto disengaged.

It is about time DC offered a factor installed exhaust brake! I just installed a Cummins (Jacobs) exhaust brake last week on my 2002 Ram HO and LOVE it!

One thing that concerns me about the new Cummins engines is that they are the emisions compliant common rail diesels CRD and I have been reading that althought the power and torque output has been tremendously increased over the 2002 and earlier engines; the fuel mileage has dropped an uncomfortable amount.

I just turned over 40,000 miles on my Dodge and am still in love with it. I would think since Dodge is only contributing the sheetmetal and cab to this new truck and the rest is Freightliner and Cummins; it will hopefully be a much less troublesome and reliable truck.

I sure hope they have fixed and correctly engineered the fuel lift/transfer problem. (read did NOT use and in tank fuel pump) I finally bit the bullet and installed the Vulcan "Big Line Kit" with the new redesigned Cummins fuel lift pump on mine recently as cheap insurance since my lift pump pressure was gradually deteriorating and flow volume dropping.

Kenneth, I *like* no snow too, our contracts are a standby fee, plus an amount per hour when there is work to do. In fact a lot of the winter work is not even dependant on a snowfall. After a good wind, or a freeze / thaw / freeze cycle we have to go out to clear and sand / salt the sidewlks too.

GMiller, there is very little involved in doing it. You need a way to mount it, in my case a multi-purpose utility frame. They *can* be mounted inside the bucket, but it adds a lot more weight to the front of the machine, you want the weight at the back. The only other thing you need is a pair of hydraulic lines to give you power angling on the blade. If you do not have hydraulic remotes you can make up a rigid bar to lock the bucket curl cylinders in place, and then install quick-disconnet fittings by putting T-fittings inline with that circuit.

The smaller machine and loader would be no problem at all, you would just need to scale down the blade that's all. I'm sure a 6' light duty blade from a small 4x4 like a Jeep TJ would work just fine.

The tractor is back from the workshop and has no problems with drive now.
They found a damaged impellor in the transmission oil pump and once this was replaced all is fine.

I've seen six foot rakes on B7200's before and you can pull it but don't worry about over working the rake. I'd definitly recommend the lighter duty models but yet a good make.
