im new to this site and was wondering what i should look at on a used b7200hst kubota i am trying to buy and how do i determine the year the owner does not know

Rolled cell is batteries like Optimas. The cases look like six cans of beans in a plastic case. You can tell by the case design. If the battery is a normal flooded lead acid you can check the for a short by checking the acid in the cells. One cell should be low after sitting a while.

I think I am beginning to understand this better. When you remove the BH, the underside sub-frame gets removed too, not just the BH off the back. Are there a couple of brackets that get left under the tractor that get pinned to the sub-frame? It is these brackets that could interfere with the MMM. I was given the inpression that just a couple of pins were pulled from behind the tractor.

My friends have been trying to convince me to use a rear mower, but due to some tight areas in the yard, I would rather have a MMM.

These tractors are a series of trade offs. The dealer's don't seem to really understand the BH much. I have got different answers from different dealers. Even the Kubota sales guys have the same problem. I guess BH and MMM is not a common combination. I have seen other forums and there is much discussion about this.

Either the Husky or Stihl are good options. I have used them all at one point or other as I worked in the western woods. Personally I liked the balance on the Huskies better than Stihl, but I have not used a Stihl for a day after their redesign. The power to weight was historically better on the Huskies, but Stihl has matched this. I have a 257 and the 52 Husky as I was cutting 10 cord a year for the house and had some large hard wood. Prior to that I had a Professional large Poulan 24" and 36" bars, something they don't even make anymore. I guess once they were bought up by electrolux they let Husky take the pro saws. Before that I had a Canadian. Also a large saw and not made anymore. <br>

I never have any problem with the Huskies chain lossening between chain filings Ken. If you bar slots are worn a little you need to push up on the tip of the bar as you tighten and secure or as soon as you make your first cut you will see slack in the chain.

Last summer I bought hay anywhere from 50 cents a bale to $1.75 per bale.

Around here hay is usually cheaper than straw.

That's what I would have thought. Here are the instructions that came with the hose kit.
1. Install the male half of a quick coupler onto the end of a 42" hose. Then attach it to the control valve port marked pressure.
2. Next install the power beyond plug into the valve. Then install the female end of a quick coupler onto the end of a 42" hose. Attach it to the power beyond plug and the remaining coupler on the tractor. TIGHTEN ALL THE CONNECTIONS SECURELY.
3. Locate the return port on the tractor. It is on the RH side of the seat. Remove plug and install a 90 elbow into the port. Next attach the male half of a quick coupler onto the end of a 42" hose. Then install the female half of a quick cou
pler onto the end of a 36" hose.
4. Start the tractor actuate the loader to charge the hydraulic system with oil and add hydralic fluid to the tractor as required.....yadda yadda yadda
As per the diagram they have the pressure line running to the bottom port on the J/S valve. The Top port goes to the PBY or power beyond line which is where you had just disconnected the original pressure line quick disconnect. The top inside port is then suppose to be connected to the return port on the tractor which is the one I cannot find. So if I just use the 2 lines I would assume that I should put the plug back into the top port on the valve and connect that line to the return port which would be the inside top port on the valve. Make sense?

What is the horsepower on this machine and can I put a post hole digger on it? What size post hole digger?<br>

Batman: When's the last time you checked the air filter? Could be starving for air and that's making combustion difficult esp. under a load.

EW The HDT of PE is 100 C or 212 F. The HDT of PP is 120 or 250 F. In general things will not get much above 100 C from simple solar radiation even with a black body. PP is used in iterior automotive applications, but PE is never used.
The difference in IR reflection from a white object vs a black object is significant. For example you can place the hand on my truck even on a 100 F degree day.
Most of the sheet goods for commerical kitchen etc are polyethylene. It is difficult to find PP in sheet goods unfilled as it is more $.

I believe the Govt is a Good Govt and if the PEOPLE refuse to put a thought process into their Voting, then the results is OURs and not by some Secret Design. I just replaced a broken 12" long cylinder rod ($230) in an industrial grapple bucket for my my skid steer yesterday (bucket's for sale--$5K new--I'll take $2K). While I was in there I replaced the seals. That took about 5 minutes and cost $24 for one seal kit.

The rod is different story. They sold me one that was 1/2" too short and had a smaler clevis hole in it. Luckily I didn't put it all back together. They're air-freighting a new one Monday.

Yes. Hill Country immature Limestone for the most part. The bit is for rock, as sold typically around this area, vs a soft dirt bit. Tractor has the horses - sometmes however without hydralic down pressure is has minimal effect - but sometimes she breaks through......not big roots. Also using turf tires. S.

Need to do a side-to-side levelling on a 3205 60" deck. The diagram shows a vertical rod inside the draft arms, between the tractor and the deck, with a nut that you turn one way to raise one side, and the other way to lower it. <br>

When looking at mine, I can barely see the thing . It's really buried, if I'm looking at the right thing. The diagram shows a picture of it fairly clearly, but the actual rig is much more cluttered than that. <br>

Am I looking at the right thing? If so, how do I get a wrench in there to turn the nut? Must be a practical solution, and I need to hear from those who've "been there, done that

I went for the B2630 for the features that it offered. Like independant pto, 3 range transmisson,telescpoing 3 point hitch end links, stronger hydraulics for 3 point and front end loader.I plan on keeping this tractor for a long time so I went ahead and spent a little more. Right now I believe they still have the $500.00 rebate on them so that brings the price down some more. The 2320 list for $12900. with R4's on Deeres website and the Kubota B2630 list for $15200.With the rebate this would be $1800. difference on the list prices. When I was first looking at tractors my John Deere dealer never could give me a price on the 2320, so I couldn't compare the prices between the two. Good luck in your tractor purchase!

to finess your way out of tickets from folks you dont know when they have a "job" to do. BTW, You all must have some real hick-ass gearhead policemen. Around my state I will gaurentee you not a ONE will ever ask to see what you have under that hood (unless they are looking for drugs)
Fact is, most times they just want to do their job and get the hell out of there since they dont know if you just killed some one in anouther state, or what they may have done ? Asking to see what is under a hood (when not under suspicion) is just ASSININE! For all you know he has 100 pounds of crack under there, NOW your life is in jepardy! Nope,,, Id write that ticket and tell you to get the hell off my road if your gunna drive that way! LOL

On anouther point, the other night I was traveling to the ER with a daughter that was possibly having an allergic reaction (her throught was swelling up) and she was starting to be short of breath, her blood pressure spiked to 165 over 110 and she was getting flushed. Her Doc over the phone told us to get her to the er.
Needless to say I did not get stopped but while I was only traveling 10 over the speed limit I was not too worried BUT when my wife (the Registered Nurse in my house) told me I better "pick-er up a bit" I had a ticket just waiting for me. Try 75 in a 35. Although the 35mph limit is on a state highway (that happens to go thru town) otherwise I would never travel that fast thru a residential area. It was fun though!!!! Figured I had a decent excuse!!? NAHHHH My force would wrote me up LMAO.

I had a similar problim about 4 years ago. My building was built to look like it was built 200 years ago. When I built the building , the tractor I had did not have a ROPS therefore my leanto was sufficant. However after purchasing a different tractor with a fixed ROPS I had a problem. I was lucky to have a dirt floor which I lowered about 3 inches I still needed another 3 inches. After surching unsucessfuly for a welding shop to shorten the ROPS because of liability concerns, my attorney suggested I sign a release form. I found a welding shop that shortened my ROPS and added a collar around the area that was shortened [which makes it stronger than original]. If you are a tall person you my want to take that in to consideration.

OK folks, this has got my dander UP, of course it has to do with TAXES. I've never shared this before on this board & maybe I shouldn't. I'm a Disabled Veteran and I pay taxes and am happy to do it as long as it's NOT squandered. I think every swing Dic? should pay their fair share and I don't want to be supporting some CAN from another country that doesn't, (spit) there I've SAID my fair share.

I am trying to decide which tractor. I am looking for a compact tractor with FEL and BH with a 60" MMM. While its tough to find a tractor will will allow the mounting of the MMM with the BH frame in place, both of these models allow it. The 2320 has a larger and heavier frame, although shows less power for the loader/hydraulic power. While its hard to trust the specs, can anyone comment on which tractor is best. They both cost about $23k.<br>
