A few thoughts if I might, the best I know some parts of Australia get rather hot (even warmer than our 97 yesterday), it could be you don't have the proper oil for the tempature or your cooling system on the hyd oil is not sufficient. Could you have a pressure setting that is too high or running at higher rpm than is needed over heating the oil.

My last thought, contact the mfg of that unit and ask them on the tube in the tank and their suggestion.

The only thing that seems to work is a tight dog leash. We let our's roam freely durind walks in the woods. Our's prefers bear sXXit and dead fish and skunk when available and there is no stopping her. Giving her a bath means something is going to happen within a couple of days to get rid of the scent.<br>

So far, she has cut her front pad twice and stepped on a nail in ditch bottoms and tangled with a muskrat and lost.<br>
She sheds enough hair to make a new dog every couple of days.<br>

I believe the price is too high for a used tractor. I just purchased a brand new L3130 with LA723 Loader, joy stick included, quick attach skid steer, heavy duty, round back bucket and bolt on edge for $21,835 which included 8.3% Washington State sales tax. I was told I paid a premium because of my location here on the Olympic Peninsula

I guess, after a public servant is no longer able to produce, it's the back alley for them now, right?....or maybe just shoot their useless ass, eh?<br>

As far as hanging weight on/off the tailgate, if I recall correctly the FMVSS for light truck tailgates is 400lb. static, resting in the middle of the tailgate such as bags of cement spread out next to each other as opposed to stacked. The mfg's I dealt with years ago did the least they could do just meet the standard. Pro'bly why we see so many convex tailgates.

Both my and my neighbor's TC33D's have blown the cooler hoses. Both had the cords showing through. The new ones look similar. At least my NH dealer was aware since they keep a few sets in stock (usually non-failure-prone parts have to be ordered). Keep an eye on the clamps too, as they have to be tightened periodically until the hoses seat.

You need to grease only figureing on eight hour days of mowing which means if your mowing time is two hours you only need to grease every four times.

So the answer is , "no" ? The tractor should not stall?
My tiller has sat in a garage since purchase and has never seen rain, for that matter it had no rust or corrosion on it either. This is what confused me on why it is not working properly.
Art, my main problem is my general area I am working. It is a morain and grows 4-20 inch rocks every year with the frost. This back field is sooooo rocky I felt i was is a gravel pit LOL. I will have to have a rock picker run thru this field since we picked rock for weekends on end and still have this problem. As for beating up the shields? Not really from the rocks getting stuck as much as the rocks getting run thru the top and being forced thru.
I will take your advice though and start fresh with the slip clutch, thatnk you!

Bingo. There are a few slopes in the yard that I can't negotiate without 4 wheel drive (I use turf tires). Yes, I did have the differental lock engaged (I forgot to disengage after I needed it sometimes) and the dead, curved tracks are the width of the front tires. Learned something new. It's deep rooted grass, we've had a lot of rain lately and cool weather, it's beginning to grow back. Many thanks.

I have put about 75 hours of mowing and brush cutting on this battery and so far no evidence of corrosion and it starts the tractor with ease. All that was required was fabricating the battery hold down strap bracket.

My understand of the above Silver Technology Strong Box battery is that it is NOT a sealed battery and will still vent hydrogen sulfide into the radiator. NOT a desirable characteristic.

Since Kubota has significantly changed the line up of the M series tractor, there are some good deals for those willing to purchase last years models. I just took delivery of my new 2005 M6800. I have to say that it beats the heck out of my 30 year old IH.<br>
My Kubota dealer also does internet sales as far away as AZ. We are in KY.<br>
I got a full tank of fuel, fluid in the rear tires cat 1 bushings and plenty of information on how to take care of the tractor.

Super UDT has worked excellent in Kubota's tractors and I do recommend it to be used with their tractors as well as others. My second favorite would be the Case-IH Hytran as they built hydro's for years before anyone else. Hytran is a little thicker the the UDT although still thinner then most hydraulic oils.

Also get a can of carb and choke cleaner or gum cutter. I use 2+2 but any kind should do it. Make sure to saturate it and get all the ports.

Glad to hear you "found" something that created the noise. I know, one time, I thought that the entire tractor was going to fall apart under me, as I heard a horrible metallic clattery noise that I had not heard before.

Turned out that the lock bar for the split breaks had loosened up in the catch clip. Man did that scare me!

Weird noises do happen, but 90% of the time, it is something simple.
