Start with the garden hose.... you may just be happy with the results at that level.

Every time I point the pressure washer at the tractor I end up with globs of grease all over me and everything else. It gets tracked in the house and it is real hard to clean off your glasses and clothing.

Quoted $12900 for gc2300 with fel, 60"mmm and ag tires. Should I look for a better price?

I really would like the bar tires, they are not very aggressive. Should I be concerned about tearing up my yard when mowing?

When I got my bx 23 I could have bough the Bx 2230 set up like this for 11700.

I have bar tires and this is not an issue even when mowing with the FEL and BH attached.

yooperpete,

The diamond pattern that earthwrks referred to would you suggest it on plows also or is that a different patten. I have been told if you run the weld the wrong direction it really creates a drag. Of course no idea was given on what is the proper direction.

The DX's do have some great discounts right now but it does depend on what you may want for a end result as to what I'd recommend. I'll clear up a bit that CNH which is the boss of Case-IH and New Holland is owned by Fiat. All entities of the merger were consumed in it. Fiat now owns the part of Consolidated Diesel that Case owned as well as all the rest of the divisions unless a different buy-out or sale might have happened to a division that I'm unaware of.

Power Trac video is what really got me wondering about this. I realize their tractor is designed differently at to no pto rather I think hyd oil operated attachments.

The thought of a engine on the mower would seem to be a good option.

It just seems that some body would have looked at and built this already.

Well slap my face and shut my mouth! OK, so it's not the remote Hyd Control Valve. Come to find out there is a priority or diverter valve somewhere that ensures the steering gets it's hydraulic pressure, but it shuts down the remote hydraulics if the pressure drops below 1700 psi (or something like that). So, it looks now like I have a failing pump. Funny thing is that pulling the pump appears to be an easier job than the CV I already did. Ha! Maybe someday I'll be smarter.

Placing the fish stuff about 6" away from the plant and buried about 6" works really good. Yes, sometimes a critter will dig it up. Placing a slab stone over it helps to deter them.

I've never heard of putting manure on a compost pile. Generally people around here (I'm from Michigan)put it directly on the garden. Horse manure generally has a lot of undigested seeds in it from hay and grasses that they ate. You generally get allot of weeds in the garden from horse manure if placed directly on the garden.

Either way it seems it will be a stinky situation. Placement of the compost pile with regard to your living quarters and prevailing wind is crucial.

This one's around 2 years old. I'll look to see if I can see anything without removing the deck and all on the jobsite. If not, I drop it off Thursday at the shop.

I'm considering a Koyker 60 3 pt. Backhoe for my Kubota B7510. I'de appreciate your comments if you have some experience with this model. Good or Bad? Plusses, Minuses? any Maintenance issues I should know about? Warranty? Repair parts availability?<br>

I know this is a made in the USA product which I like & yes, I know my tractor wasn't. But, be that as it may, if I can, I'de like to buy US made. <br>

My father was a Narcotics detective. They always said (my dad, his partners, and my friends) They hated warm full moon weekend nights. The worst of all is a holiday weekend that was hot outside. Hmmm Last weekend, Menorial Day weekend, 92 degree's and 82 degrees at night, LOL Id say they hit it on the head. This country needs a internal overhaul! The scum is really starting to build up in our injectors. The way I see it is this. We have low life scum having "WAY" more baby's than responsible working ethical Ameicans. Its starting to come to a head.
The Punks from the Early 90's that had babies have failed misserably and the now 16 year olds are turning to an age where its starting to hurt! Low life scums as parents = a high percentage of future low life, drug headed pieces of shit! I for one feel we need to start cleansing the cesspool city's. The bleeding heart mentality of mainstream America (especially the coasts) is dragging us down!

Maybe so but that don't change the fact that mine did.

When I bought my tractor the BX 2230 with FEL was 10400 and the BX 23 was 14200.

As I previously posted, I had a bearing freeze and damaged the front housing to my transmission. Contacted every site that I could find on the internet, that sold Yanmar parts. I have two positive feedbacks for all the gaskets I need and one maybe on the housing (new). The majority suggested finding a parts tractor. I am searching! If I can't find a used housing, I may have to part out my, like new, tractor. Any help appreciate.<br>

My filter installs horizontally, so I didn't put any fluid in it. I'm thinking air, at least I hope so.

That is the intension of the blade design. The bevel should be on the opposite side of the blade so that when you flip it the bevel is up. The twist is designed to throw the crop up ward into the conditioning rolls or flails and help to keep the crop from getting entangled. If all you have is a mower with out conditioning the 15 degree twist is not real important.

I just got a quote on a new 4320, and I'd like to know if it's a good price, and if I should go with the implements I've listed. I could go with other brands/prices for implements but I'm not sure if it's all that smart. This is my first tractor and I'll be using it on 40 hilly acres that are now bare and will have a horse facility. It can't do everything, but hopefully a lot that needs done. <br>

Take your experience and develope a washer and dryer for CUTs that will not short circuit them. There is a need based upon threads here.

Very serious, have you taken what you were/are doing and thought about it in relationship to CUT's and their owners and a possible need?
