I didn't mean to imply there were axle problems of any kind on the TC33. The only thing I heard was that NH derated the loader capacity due to the limitations. I don't think there are any reliability problems with it.

I wasn't trying to be hateful to anyone, that is why I said if the shoe fits. I did not know Peters circumstances. The rest was my opinion.
Bill Cosby once did a skit on Predjudice and when was finished, there was NO LEFT standing, for everyone is Predjudice, it is just some will admit it while others deny it.
I also gave an example where I as an American was treated like crap in Canada and they same mood that Peters was mentions about the narcissistic Americans, I felt the same way in Canada.

Makes perfect sense to me.

Pick up the tractor, kick the mower deck under it with your toe, put the tractor down.

Maybe its better I bought a rear mower deck after all.

The 10 series had its share of growing pains. Many of these bugs were worked out with the 20 series and follow ons. In fact, the John Deere 4020 is arguably one of the most sought after used tractors on the market. A 3020 or 4020 would be a bit on the large side but a very good farm tractor. The 1010 and 2010 I believe only came equipped with gas engines. Diesel in my opinion is far better for ag use.

I would try going over the mower with some compressed air and blow out all of the safety switches and any areas that water may have accumulated and then let it dry for a day or two and try starting it again. No telling what the water may have gotten into that could cause this. Safety switch, ignition switch, coil, mag pickup, a wire harness connector plug, etc. As already mentioned, it may not have anything to do with the water and you will have to troubleshoot.

From one "Yankee" to another, I can relate to what you say, I've been 'baked' in more states than I care to recall, although some of my employees would tell you I'm 'half-baked' all the time, LOL.

Tip 'o the day time again.

If you want your canopy to last, always try to trailer your machine facing backwards. That way the long, unsupported end is pointed downwind, not flapping in the breeze.

If you stick around there for long, I might run into you, we have bid on the rebuild of 6 golf courses down there, chances are we get at least one of them. If I do I know where to find a good sub-contractor, LOL.

Hi I have a Cub Cadet 1650 that has a leak in the hydro. It seems to be coming from the front of the hydro, but it isn't coming from the relief valves. I also replaced the filter and tightened it. Also, just to be sure, I tightened the return tube on the bottom. Is it the pump gasket? If it is, could someone tell me how to install it? Thanks.

I agree with you on the power! very impressive! I am most impressed with the e hydro I don't think there is any room for improvement it's amazingly smooth. The only thing I was kind of disappointed with was the stock loader bucket it pretty soft, It was all bent up after the first day! I guess I should of order the heavy duty bucket.

I have a 1987 woodboss and two years ago the Stihl dealer replaced the metal sprocket with a plastic one that only cost around $3 or $4 dollars the conversion was $30. I have not had to replace a chain since. The sprocket just slips on. I have three chains and drop two of them off to get them sharpened. No stretch of far. By the time my stretch so far to have a link removed they are pretty much worn out.

Last year purchased a Kubota TG1860G mower. This year it seems much slower in forward and reverse is at a crawl.<br>

I can't seem to find a place to check or add Hydrostatic oil? The manual has the spec for Hydrostatic oil but no mention of checking, filling or where to look.<br>

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. There are sevarl different factors that you have not mentioned, that are key to determining what the value should be set at.
1) FEL ?
2) Is your 8200 a gear unit (DT) or Hydro (HST)
3) leaks, operational considerations, etc.
4) Overall physical condition, ie: dents, scratches, RUST,
etc.
5) Serial Number

Geographical location has a bearing on it as well. Let's have a wee bit more info, and we can take a shot at it for you.....

I don't know if you have a single stage or two stage clutch. With either you have to use the clutch just like changing grear in the tranmission as that is what you are doing.<br>

If it is a single stage clutch you will depress the clutch all the way to change the transmission gear or the pto. If a dual stage clutch you will still depress it all the way for the pto but just a little before you fully depress it you are able to shift the transmissiong keeping the pto engaged. <br>
<br>
If you will work the clutch paying carefull attention to the pedal's resistance you can find that spot. About the safest way I know to verify, it is a dual stage clutch and for you to find that spot is to put some load to pull such as a blade or plows and slowing depress the clutch until the tractor stops. <br>
<br>
The dual stage has the advantage of keeping a pto operating at same speed and load while backing up and such. The dual stage normally will allow the shifting of transmission gears without the pto having to stop. Often a single stage clutch requires the pto rotation to stop to shift gears.<br>
<br>
If by chance the pto on this tractor will push the tractor (rough cut mower will do this if anything will) meaning when you depress the clutch the speed and weight of the blade and such keep the tractor moving, be sure to install an overriding clutch to your pto. A simple option from many sources.<br>

I have had a 250 recon manual for about 4 years. Just bought a 400 sportsman but kept the recon. The ride is tough on the recon (especially after riding a full suspention like the sportsman.) When the kid and I go out on the wheelers, I still take the recon. Its so small I can tell it exactly what I want it to do. Its just about floats over the muddy water holes on the trails. Cant remember ever getting stuck (although I am not stupid either, I know its limitations) All in all its a great little ride. My friends mostly laughed at me at first. I had no payments ever, and they still were making em after 3 years LOL. For light work around the farm and for reliable transportation I think its a great choice. Only real draw back besides the suspension is the ground clearance in snow. Light fluffy stuff is no problem but as soon as it gets heavy or a rust on it you will be stuck in 6 inches.
I love the recon , it was the right choice for me at that time, it does not owe me a thing!
