Thank you for the information, I was told by a generetor manufacturer that they always figure that half of the hp will equal the number of kw the tractor will run, hence 13kw.

I haul my log splitter in my trailer. In my opinion, they are just to top heavy and prone to rolling over. Not what you want to have happen on the road.

B-20's came with three point hitch that would work well with a tiller. Their hoe attaches four point into a frame that extends back from the loader and doesn't hinder the ground clearance like typical subframes that hang below the tractor. There design was as a mini commercial digger and if you are having trouble with ground engagement you will have to step up quite a bit in size to enhance performance.

It's been a while but let's see if I remember this stuff.

First, pump relay, it doesn't shut off till the key goes off, it is a 'pressure by-pass' style of pump, the pressure is maintained up to the motor full-time, when the pressure reaches a set point a relief valve allows the excess to go back to the tank in a return line.

Second, TPS, not likely, more likely would be the temp sensor telling the motor it's colder outside than it really is, causing it to go into 'cold start' mode, flooding the not cold-enough engine.

If you have spark then it can't be an ignition switch problem.

I would be looking for a sensor that is out of range, likely one that tells the engine temperature. Unfortunately the earlier diagnostic software didn't have the capacity to spare for things like sensors being out of range. Some of them can only be checked with a good Ohm meter and a reading across the sensor to ground. If the resistance is not with in a specified range, it's junk.

Hey Guys why not container pool. I just bought a JM354 etc etc but with Backhoe and loader and mower. Also bought 15kw generator etc etc Asked around the neighbours they wanted stuff too so I filled a container. Its not hard. Tractor cost $4600 in your dollars ( I'm in Australia )Picked it up on a friends 23 footer truck $100 fuel. Laughing. Took 2 of us 8 hours to put everything together. Never done it before. Yes a couple of parts missing but they are being sent over. What else was on the container? Heaps of fire fighting pumps, generators, small engines and pressure washers to clean the tractor. Everyone is happy except the ones that missed out!! Keep up the postings great reading.

From anothe rmessage board , I see that this is a hydrostatic tractor. I believe ther is a hydraulic pickup screen & a tranmission screen. If cleaning them doesn't help then you probably have hydro problems , which can be expensive.

I bought my 2006 3520/4wd/hydro/300cx/72mmm/rear scv/ that was 6mo used/200 hrs from Cross implement in Minier, Illinois for $20000 and the dealer (Brad Cross) gets another unit every 3 to 4 months. They are rented to the school system to mow, and take care of baseball diamonds. Mine is like brand new. This tractor has so much power, you can't believe it.

If it's like my blue, it can't be bypassed as it's part of the injection pump assembly (but the solenoid itself can be removed but fuel would pour out).

Brought the limbs in today. The Cornell extension person called home before I got there and told my wife the disease is NOT needle cast. It is "spruce gall adelgids". Treatment is to clip off bad branches and spray a few years in a row with either horticultural oil, insecticidal soap, or cabaro. The disease doesn't kill the trees - just thins them a bit and they don't look their best.

To all,
Recieved all my test ports and gauges. Last night I started with a visual exploratory. Removed all plugs where the test ports were going to be installed. Looked in all passages with a pen light. BINGO! found a blockage inside the charge relief passage. Used a small packing puller hoping it it was soft yet durable to be extracted. No good, the pieces which I was removing appeared to be a rubber gasket. Tried back flushing and was able to open the passage but there is still material in there. I've elected to pull my Transaxle and open it up. My guess at this point is at one time somebody used a generic filter which came apart. I will keep you all posted with more detail as I dig further. I hope it was a generic filter nad not an OEM Kubota filter !

I appreciate all the feedback. It looks like the entire line of the new 4020 series have turbo charged engines so I
guess John Deere has confidence in them. I think I'll look at buying the turbo 3520 as compared to the non turbo 3120 or 3320. thanks cbookman1
