Actually, the rankings do make some valid points. It's a quality of life index that looks at all residents. Most of the countries that beat the US have better social welfare programs than the US. Hence, the quality of life for low-income, disabled or unemployed citizens is better than in the US. They also lack the slums the US has in major metro areas.

Of course, they also lack some of the seriously crowded metro areas we do. On the other hand, they are much more taxed than we are to pay for it all.

Ireland's economy is smoking right now. They've done a wondeful job of turning it into a business center. Beautiful country too. Canada has free health care for everyone including the poorest of the poor. They also have all that land and much less people that us. Also a much higher tax rate. SO the rich have a bit less, but the poor have a lot more. Better overall average quality of life.

Yes we in the US do have it good. But not as good as it was during Reagan's era or in the 60's. I'm writing this as I sit here waiting for the HR guy to come around and tell me my employment fate. Do I have a job with the company that bought us? Do I not? Do they want me in a transitional role and then I'm unemployed? The US isn't as good as it used to be. We are slipping boys. The rankings are pretty accurate.

Yesterday we finally got the PW started. Probably close to 50 pulls. We were taking turns. The water was on, flowing and the trigger pulled per the PW manual. I poked around on the internet and can't find a carb kit, although parts like needles, floats and o-rings are available separately. Jack's small engines sells a complete carb for $66. Anyone know of a place that sells complete carb kits with instructions (float setting) for a GX270?

Crunch, this pw has a 2500 psi cat pump with a GX270 engine too.

Not true for the last 3 years. It is all computer controlled now and the noise level is almost the same as the 5.7L Hemi, very quiet.

Care to be more specific about what you are referring to?
DOge has a very High Quality truck and if you want to compare itme for item, you will be Amazed how Dodge will out shine the competitors. I am listening for some examples and then do tell me who does it better and why?

If you are only going to be using it for animal food plots you will likely be happy with it.

We tried one similar a few years back for planting cover crops, sacrificial crops that will later be disced under, planted merely to stop erosion on the land we are working on.

The ATV did the job very quickly, but the bumpy ride meant a VERY uneven seed distribution, and so a very spotty germination and growth pattern that couldn't be 'touched up' without driving back over everything.

Eventually we just went back ot using a seed drill with a grass box on it.

Off the top of my head it sure sounds like you have a 2 hydraulic hoses reversed and are thus pressurizing the return line.

Not a good thing .......

That's similar to what I did a few years back, except mine mounts to the utility frame (my picture # 18) that I replace the bucket with, and the mount is not into the 2" receiver directly, I made a 3pth couple so I can mount any 3pth implement on the FEL.

Also, by mounting it via a 3pth adapter on the FEL it is very stable and can be used without having to rest it on the ground, this allows me to, for instance, set it level with the tailegate of a truck or trailer and split the wood by just sliding it into the splitter. This also allows me to work standing up instead of bent over.

Anyone have a good idea of a fair price of a 2006 3520 Ehydro R4 tires 300 CX loader.Is list less 15% what can be expected as a "good deal"?If it is, any suggestions on how to negotiate to that discount level. Also, I know there are<br>
factory to dealer incentives on this model of $450. Should this be included in the 15% discount. Any help would be appreciated

There's different ways to check for bubbles: pull the dip stick and inspect the oil on the stick; remove the hyd. filler cap and using a flashlight peer into the tank/reservoir if possible; or with loader full down so you don't get hurt, crack-open one or both lift cylinders and look for aerated oil.

What's the chance you were low on fluid to begin with and operated the loader at a steep angle? If yes, then I feel you starved the pump and permanently damaged it. But this should be easy to check by performimg a pressure test. I wouldn't necessarily take the word from a technician who said he checked it.

I'm 5' 11" and 210 lbs. and have not bumped my head on the existing ROPS yet. The seat keeps me about 1 foot forward of the ROPS. I would suggest that you at least try using the back hoe with the existing ROPS before deciding whether its worth the cost of replacing it.

Lee: I think a large walk-behind blower about 5hp-10 would be the ticket. I have a 8hp unit that will blow 1/2" rocks away with ease (got it for $50 at a garage sale).

I'd re-think using a manual shift trans with a loader. Hydro is the way to go if you can afford the added cost---but in the long (and short) run it's worth it.

If it's built like my King Kutter, all you do is look for about a 2" hole in the top of the deck near the gear box, and with the engine off and the PTO not engaged, rotate the the PTO shaft slowly by hand until the blade nut lines up with the hole in the deck. Do yourself a favor and use an impact wrench to remove the fairly large nut. Then tap the bolt down and out. You might have to reach under the deck to help the blade off, or even better: have someone help you---they're heavy (the blade I mean). Installation is the reverse of removal. You shouldn't need to put a wrench on the head of the bolt which looks round and flat---the bolt has splines like a common wheel stud that normally keeps it from spinning in the bolt hole--but not always. If the bolt does spin, simply use a pipe wrench on the head and go for it.

Sounds to me that if the fluid is aerated and not hot, the pump is probably shot. Most likley the pump housing expands just enough to allow hydraulic fuid to pass by the sides of the pump gears. When it does that, it cavitates.
When I'm working my backhoe too much or too hard I would have to run cool water over the pump, reservoir and the oil cooler to get it to cool down enough to use it again. You might have a clogged oil cooler too, but most likely it's a worn out pump---in my opinion.

You would need to tie the three point hitch arms so they can't go all the way to the top if the trailer pushes. Yes it might be nice for hooking up and other things but if it does push up the hitch the damage coould be costly.
