can anyone tell me if there are aftermarket filters for my TC29? If so, tell me the part number and brand (Fram, Purolator, etc.)? Dealer is a 50 mile trip for me. Trying to save time.<br>

Getting back to the original subject, I would forward the phishing email from "paypal" to your state's Attorney General's Office. Just because Paypal says they can't locate the originator of the email, doesn't mean it can't be done. Emails leave tracks in Cyberspace, but it can take a lot of effort to track them. Enough complains and someone will pick up the ball and run.

Your Attorney General's office may not be able to find the originator, but they can direct you to where to forward your complaint.

The 2210 has a connector at the rear of the seat. It can be used to run a set of back-up lights. It is controlled by the light switch on the dash.

My only problem was mating the connector they used. I cut theirs off and installed my own. Look at my pics and you might see a yellow wire cover - that's where the line is.

I recently wanyed power up front fro a sprayer. I could not find a source up under the hood by the lights. I would up drilling a swutch into the dash and running a line up to the battery as you plan to do. It isn't hard, but it is clumsy. An extra socket on the fuse bank would have been helpful.

My dump trailer is a 6' x 10' now with 4' sides. It actually measures 8 2/3 cubic feet when level to the top and I load it with a bump in the middle to get 9 yards in it and cover with a tarp.

Mine was made in Indiania under the broad name of Forest River. They are a biggy trailer manufactuer and make everything but under different brand names from little utility trailers to travel trailers and everything between. www.forestriver.com gets you to the homepage.

To watch e-bay or your local dealers you might find what you need. It normally takes many years to wear out a deck but it does happen and the tractor chassis of the GF is good for a lot of hours but a poor operator may run into enough stuff to kill a deck.

You have some good dealers that have been in buisness a lot of years in your area. I would wonder why you are stoppng at a 60" deck? You are going to be close to the trac width with the deck. The L-2800 and 3400 would be a good alternative if a rear mower was used and you'd have some extra weight to deal with the larger acreage and projects. The 3400 would take a larger yet three point mower to help cut the mowing time on the 5 acres.

Often times the simplist things can cause problems. The problem you have sounds like it might be a loose wire. It could be in a connector that has not shown till now. It could be a weak ground that gets weaker with the mass movement. Anyway you look at it it will be tough to find till it stops completely and then be chased. I wasn't aware that they built a shut off switch for the PTO into the engine temp circuit. That's nice if you do have an over heating problem with them.

Thanks, the problem was filter was plugged and the hyd. oil was filthy. Working fine now. Are you the one that can get the manuals?

I used a middle buster with my JD4100 to dig a 300' trench about 12" deep so that I could run ethernet cable in 1 1/2" irrigation pipe. Worked just fine although I did make several passes to get the depth right. Only problem I had was that it rained between the time I dug the trench and had to go back and cover the whole shee-bang back up with my rear blade. THAT was a mess and took twice as long!

I am an electric utility engineer and quite offen we are ask to remove or relocate a guy wire. If I could see a layout of how the poles and anchors are placed I could advise as to the neccessity of the guy wire in question. Generally, if the route deadends or makes an angle on the pole (>5deg) a guy wire and anchor are required.<br>

Since you have talked to your cable company and can't get a response, try the electric company that owns the route. If the cable company has rights to occupy the pole space then they should be able to also attach a guy wire to the power company's anchor. If the power company's anchor is a double or triple eye, its easy to tell by the grooves in the eye of the anchor, the cable company could relocate to this anchor. A simple process that would take longer to drive to the site than do the work.<br>

If this failed to work, then I would contact the state or local government agency that regulates the cable company. It maybe different than that of the electric company as cable companies are not considered a utility unless they also provide telephone. Be sure that you have documented your attempts to contact the cable company.<br>

In some instances we will refuse to make an adjustment to a guy wire, but this is rare. We do charge the customer but unless a new pole is involved these charges are only a few hunderd dollars. If a pole is involved this can quickly grow to a few thousand.<br>
<br>
There is the possibility that the cable company doesn't have rights to attach to the power company poles. If this is the case the power company should deal with the situation.<br>

Earthwrks I made no statements here saying that you couldn't run another brand oil. I in fact enjoy people who do! That keeps my shop running because it does take it's toll after a while and if it's a engine failure or a chassis failure that's fine!!!! We get to fix it! I here people raving about Shell Rotella for tractors and that is great because it was designed for engines that run at less then 50% of load and rpm both in the trucking and autos so I know it helps the tractor dealers in the long run.
