I would not either, I was replying to Harvey who said he used PVC for EVERYTHING. Trying to give him a heads up on how dangerous that could be and how he could open himself up to a lawsuit if he called in for service and someone who had no clue he was using PVC for everything, got injured working on what he thought was a water pipe or a drain pipe even.......

I also live in Iowa and I have a 4310. I have the block heater installed, but haven't used it since I bought the tractor 2 winters ago. She fires right up if you use the glow plugs. Great running tractors.

I love the 72" MMM as it cuts down the mowing time by over 50%. Congrats on your new toy!!

Purchased a ST1620 Kumiai everything worked fine when I bought it, after short time 3 pt will not raise. It makes no difference which position draft control is in. Never heard any noise that would make think it was a pump problem. I'm going to drain system and clean filter. What I'm wandering is there another lever or something I could have accidently hit and it's letting system by-pass.

you're talking about getting a 12K tractor for just mowing 3 acres of property. Isn't that an overkill? A good solid garden tractor will do that job just fine for around 6K (Toro and Kubota sell excellent garden tractors). Now if you do get a 12K tractor, then it just makes sense to get the loader for all the reasons yooper listed. I faced the same decision and decided to buy the loader. Also, retail for a unit with a loader will be far greater than without.

I know what youmeant, I was running my mouth and giving an opinion. Without an IP address it is hard to say who is who and maybe they can go by the email addy but that doesn't always pan out any info either. I have 8 email accounts and I can change hosts at a drop of a hat and if I lived in Nigeria, you can't touch me.

I use a Debit card on an account I control the balance of. It is ALWAYS in a consumer's best interest to keep their Open To Buys low on Credit cards, for that Open to Buy is considered DEBT and can prevent you from getting a loan. Even if your balance is ZERO they look at your Open To Buy because very simply after you are approved for that Auto Loan you could go out and max your Credit cards and not be able to pay anyone back. Keep your OTBs as low as you can, you will have better chances getting loans approved and Credit people HAVE TO comply with your rquests, this also goes towards Dept Store accounts such as Best Buy, Circuit City etc, every Open To Buy held against your name is potential Debt and is condiered in loan giving.

Watch the weights here. I have a 7000 pound, 6x10 foot, wheels-under the bed type dumper too. It weighs 2000+ pounds empty.

The bigger dumpers can easily go 3000-3500+ pounds empty, especially if you get one that is long enough to haul a TLB (14+ feet).

I tried this exercise last year, combining a dump trailer with a a tractor hauler and couldn't make the numbers balance.... at least not with my present truck.

It was far cheaper for me to have two trailers (a flat bed and a dump) than to buy a serious gas guzzling one ton 4x4 truck and try to get by with one combined-use trailer.

I wanted to add, McKinney tried to pass thru security and was upset when she was stopped. She tried to act privelaged and NO she was NOT recognozed because she had changed her appearance. The Police were doing their jobs and she seemed to be acted for the sake of attention and more of this Whites hate the blacks crap. DeLay merely pointed out that McKinney had done this many times before and had many times before used the Poor Black Person pity speeches. Sounds like a sub compact is the right size for you. I think most if not all subs come with Hydro trans. I take it you don't want the gear so much as you want to avoid the cost.<br>

Tilling a 20 by 20 garden is a one time event that will be over in a couple of minutes with a sub, the tiller will cost you 1 to 2 k. You might want to just rent a walk behind tiller.<br>

In terms of slicing as for overseeders, if that is what you mean, an overseeder that you could rent is really heavy and requires a tractor more like a big "L" size Kubota, you can rent an overseeder for about $250 a day plus delivery, buy for over 2k. You could also use a core aerator a good one costs about $1300, a cheap one $400.<br>

The Red Devil was made in South Dakota.
American Equipment made the product.
The problem had to do with some welding, crooked.
Bought from Ludens equipment, also in South Dakota. Had it
shipped to Oregon.

Maybe if We knew what your plans are for this tiller, it would make the suggestions change. Also, do you want it to be pretty and color matched or would you rather have a grand or a bit less more in your pocket book? KK has never got a bad post here (that I can remember) on how it works except for the paint. I bought the woods 72" rotarty cutter but opted for the KK tiller. In hind sight I should of saved $400 and bought the KK cutter too. (I have no problems with the woods except that it cost me more money and I dont like that LOL)

Well, I pulled the solenoid fuse & it stops.

A 15A fuse is blown, so I'm hoping when I replace that, the tractor will turn-off with the key again.
