You said the magic word "Dealer". First you make sure this is the man you want to do business with. Does he have after sale service? Does he have a certified mechnic? Does this tractor have HP to do the job that you want? Does the dealer have Attachments, parts and associated equipment? It is your money do not sell yourself to cheaply. There are alot of tractors for sale in the $12,000 to $15,000 range. Does the tractor come with a manual? Does it come with a warenty? How long? I would find all of this out prior to giving up the money. Check with other dealers and see what they offer. Does this Dealer deliver and pick up for warenty jobs. Being stuck with a POS is no fun and you still cannot get the work done. These are just my ideas. I wish you best of luck.

SG8: I'm from the Detroit area but working in Mississippi cleaning up Katrina for the past 6 months. I'm curious: What is the average age and condition of the dump trucks in your immediate area?
Back home, they are mostly late '90's and up hence the high cost of product (the DOT pretty much targets any older looking trucks so it's not worth getting ticketed for any used truck with a problem). Here in Miss. on the coast a 10 yard load of sand is $100 and people are complaining. Black sand mined from river beds here also called sandy loam top soil back home goes for $75 for 9 yards. The trucks here are much older and in poor condition (okay, really bad). Out-of-staters are coming in with new $130,000 Macks and finding they can't afford to literally make a few dollars a load. Sand going for $100 costs $40 at the pit. 7 years ago when I was hauling topsoil it cost me $50 for 5 yards (yeah, a real 5 yards) and I would get $130, but I had about a $55,000 investment I had to pay for too. That's 687 loads to pay for the truck equipment--with no profit.

Well McKinney appologised today as well she should. I will not be holding my breath to wait to here DeLay's appologies.

In reality we have no idea what the cultures of the interior natives were like in North America. If I went through your town and killed 9/10 of the old and young and you had no books how much knowledge would remain. Even the cultures that had writing like the Aztecs had their books distroyed.

Most of the eastern natives raise crops, corn, tobacco etc.

I wrote Paypal and sent them the email and they said they did not know the origin of the email asking for my password, so they couldn't do anything about it. I see this as no different than someone walking up to me on the street and trying to rob me of my credit card. If they don't get it the crime didn't happen?

My thoughts exactly. I buy all my parts from the local guy. As to power supply i have used the same one fro the last 4 that I built as well as the case CD/DVD burner drive and floppy, as well as the 160 gig hard drive for the last two. Only real new thins are the board, processor, ram , video and sound cards.

O.k. so I only really "built" it once but I "upgrade" every six months.

The 4L ford would have to have had a 5speed trans other wise? The auto trans. have a hard time making it past 60,000mi in normal driving let alone pulling a boat. Chevy is the same way with the newer 4L60E trans behind the 4.3L.

I have yet to see a Ford or Chevy of any kind out live a Toyota.

Sounds a little high to me. I bought the same model with loader but without mower two years ago for $14,000. If you throw in the mower for $2000. or so you are looking around 16,000 to 16,500. Maybe prices have gone up that much?

What everyone is missing is that Muslims cannot get along with other Muslim denominations. Kinda like Black people hate Whites but actually hate each other as bad if not worse but won't admit it.

There will never be peace in that region of the world. They (Muslims and their culture) do not value human life, people's rights nor are they willing to fight for their own freedom and peace. They are a bunch of Weenies. They can only kill women and children. The fortunate thing is that suicide bombers only strike once.

They say we are the problem in Iraq and should get out. I agree. We should tell them that we are leaving in 30 days and move our troops totally out of villages and towns and relocate to border regions with instructions to kill anything that moves. We should tell them our peace plan "The next time a car bomb or terrorist hits in their country, we nuke the whole country and make the problem go away".

You can certainly do it. You can still run your splitter valve on while leaving the curl circuit open. The problem I see is that the cycle rate of the splitter will be pretty slow compared to a self powered splitter with 2-stage pump. That's with or without power beyond. Without load they pump at well over 10 GPM and then shift down to a high pressure mode under load. Your tractor hydraulics might not be more than about 5 GPM (I don't know the exact number for your tractor). If you've got plenty of time it should work fine.<br>

I was hoping there would be a picture of your tractor I would know if it is two or four wheel drive. With four wheel drive you have to keep the right size tires for gearing.

PETERS: It's not necessarily the expansion of the tank material itself, but the air and the fuel too which have a greater impact on tank "puffing" or "imploding". I have a new 60 gallon schoolbus fuel tank mounted on the front of my backhoe trailer. When it is hot out (mid 80's) and nearly empty and it gets very cold overnite (30's) (and lacking a proper vent) it is impossible to pump fuel unless I cock the filler cap open---which takes two hands to open due to internal vacuum. On the other hand going from cold to hot, I have had the filler cap go flying out of my hands being under so much pressure.

You have a Cummins/Iveco engine. I also think that you can get a kit from New Holland. Might be worth a call to you dealer. Really any way you go you are looking at at least $1500.

Thanks for the reply Len, sorry it took me so long to get back to you. There is no groove, but there is indeed play however. The play is not side to side but strictly up and down. It looks like I might need to add a couple of washers under the pitman arm to eliminate, but would this throw off my pinion alignment?
