If I didn't start my tractor and left in sitting in the garage that would extend the Tractor Life right? Well I use it as I was told to use and as it works and JD says it is fine to use the Turn Brakes so I use them, beleive me Art, they comein handy. Now grant you, if my land was flat, I may never need them. but i live in the mountains and there half submerge rocks, ditches, hills, and very unevern terrain. It is grassy, mossy, wet and slippery, I use the brakes and drive the tractor as I would a Skid Steer. So without being sarcastic, for those who are going to be cutting grass on flat ground or whatever, they may NEVER need to use their brakes to assit in their steering or to even assist them in going STRAIGHT. I do and I do plenty and as I said earlier, my 400 was used on the same property for 25 years and I use the split turn brakes all of the time for the same purpose and have never replaced the pads.
Art, I could not replace the axles with anything but what JD had. there was a left side axle housing and a right side axle house. It was made form what appeared to be a Pig Iron and the eyelets for the 3 pt hith arms were molded on the axle. I was using a Rotor Tiller made for the 400, it was a 50 inch and when it hit a submerged rock it would buck and jump and nother eyelet would be broke. There were TWO eyelets per side and the holding pin slid thru one, thru the tiller and then the other eyelet. It was a very poor JD design and I would have made it apart of the STEEL Frame. I did what I had to do to keep the garden tilled etc. Not by choice, but by need.

I am having the Exact same problem with a 98 Cherokee. I have flushed the core out several times and have plenty of water coming out with the pressure of a Garden Hose.
My Temp gauge reads 195 degrees and I put in a New Thermostat just to be safe. I have inspected my Radiator and it is fine, I checked the doors they open and close as they should. I felt the upper hose going into the firewall side of the core and it is HOT the bottom hose is only warm. Before I dismantale the whole dashboard to replace the core on a 98 Cherokee, I wanted to be sure that was my problem and I am NOT sure. I have taken note that the Water Pump Housing looks pretty new as compared to the rest of the engine. My thought is that the fins of the fan are NOT turning, which allows water to pass thru it from convection and is enough to keep a straight 6 on cool but not enough to give adequate pressure to speed up the flow of how water to do as KT said in his reply, pass it thr to keep it HOT long enough. My next step when we have a day above 50 degrees is to take a hose off and run the engine to see if there is any pressure at all which should fill a bucket up pretty fast. I too, am stumped.

I have to agree with Wille, I am for ownership but responsible ownership. In my mind the NRA does not differentiate between the two.<br>

I also have seen data manipulation to prove a point, on the anti regulation side. When you work with human studies data you must consider the hundred of other factors. My favorate was plotting of the data for new regulations in Britain. They showed that after the tough new regulations were introduced that hand gun deaths had increased. Naturally the plotting of the data showed the small increase. If you did the math the increase amounted to 3 new deaths per year in the UK. The time period was over the fall of the Eastern europe, which any idiot knows released tons of guns on the world black market and a new sources for organized crime. The source for the article was the Faser Institute, a far right wing non-think tank in the Fraser Valley. Naturally this was passed to me by my boss and former quality control person. They took the first verse and argued that their was no way that the gun owner knew it would kill. To me it bespeaks to the fact that you know the gun has the potential to kill. Most are not ignorant of the fact that it can easily kill and without proper handing will. A good portion of the gun deaths in the US are miss handling (see Dick C. fire). You need to keep it safe. If you do not keep it safe and out of the wrong hands you are liable, in my mind.<br>

In the last few weeks this analogy has been brought to life in our family. My mother's neighbor was in the pen with the Holstein bull. Something he had done numerous times. Suddenly it attacked him and tossed him. He was nearly killed. Having no family the neighbors have spent the last few months nursing him back to life. He will not turn his back on the bull again and it will be penned.

Check the starter solenoid. Put a test light on the small post. One side should be hot. Do the key and see it the other side lights the light. If so check the large post one should be hot with the key on. When you go to start with the key it should light the other large post and start. I ll bet it is stuck. It just happened when you shut it off and has nothing to do with the loader

I miss the days of economy of coding. On my current job I'm using an integrated tool set on windows (normally I don't develop on windows). The editor that came with it is horrible. I bought another editor that was 60MB in zipped form and is less powerful than my favorite all-time editor that fit on a floppy disk. Code bloat is a definite problem and development tool technology stopped advancing 20 years ago. The tools today are fatter than ever and are often impediments to doing a job. But they're pretty to look at.

It sounds like they are becoming more like their parent company FIAT (Fix It Again Tony). The sixties and seventies Fiats left you chasing shorts all the time.
On a tractor there is a lot of vibration compared with a car. Small shorts can develop where the wire contacts any sharp edge. I would run the wires and check for breaks in the insulation.

The B__50 units were built, and built strong. All the parts are still very readily available.

I still have a B1750 with the BiSpeed turn. To be very honest, I hardly ever use it. The tractor has power steering as it is along with a front loader. I would imagine that if I would get into a REAL difficult spot to manuever, it might come in handy, but.....

That series is a TANK - they go on forever!

I don't have this info on the Farm Pro, but our KAMA which uses the saem engine, and similar PTO drive shows 21.9 PTO HP so the Farm Pro should be close. The info I don't have here at home is the rpm the engine is turning at "pto speed", the grean spot on the tach. Our KAMAs have a wide "green spot" on the tach.

Yanmar does not sell or support the sale of grey tractors and is trying to shut it down with law suits. See their site. Kubota has about shut down and I am not sure about parts for the greys that were sold.

I purchased a B3030 HSDC last october. It handles like no other tractor i have owned or operated and i have worked in the green industry 29 years! The cab seal is so tight you have to pull hard to close the doors.I am very impressed with all aspects of this machine, the steering,balance and overall performance of this tractor astounds me. The B2910 is a fine machine but it's no match for the 3030.

Chief; as for the kit from Genos I bought a kit right from Vulcan it is 1/2" line clean to the vp44, the genos kit only uses 3/8 to the fuel filter

I use a Stihl that was purchased by my father in law and I would say is okay. He also purchased a Shindaiwa chainsaw and it is by far a better machine than the Stihl blower.

I know a Stihl dealer that dropped that line for I think Redman and the reason was the golf courses preferred the Redman said it was better machine. If the other source will not work for you I think he would ship. I have dealt with him and been very pleased. He is in South Carolina.

Watch windspeeds. Some give it at end of the tube and some before it hits a tube. Of course any tube slows down the air.

Thanks Murf, that's why I asked about a water soluble product. One of the dealers I talked to told me that they have a water soluble slime that is easy to clean out; he said they wouldn't even charge me extra for clean up if I wanted to patch a tire that was treated with that slime. I just wanted to see if I could save some money by doing the job myself. If I don't get any suggestions on specific brands here, I'll take a look at the local auto shop, read some labels on those tire sealants, see if I find something I like.

I had the same problem from the day I purchased my TC33D. I replaced the started yesterday - after 3 years of fiddling with everything else. I had a defective starter.

The new starter solved the problem.

After some thought on this, I will probably just buy 25 gallons at first and see how long that will last. I work in a paint manufacturing plant. I move drums around most every day. We use drum dollies and forklifts most of the time. But we always move them around by hand. Of course I don't have a concrete pad at home. Diesel weighs about the same as most ingredients in paint, but our paint weighs between 9 and 13 pounds a gallon. Maybe breaking these drums over for the last 12 years is why my elbows hurt all the time.
I will use the tractor to lift the drum out of the truck, and set onto the drum rack. JC
