Anyone on here have 98.5-2002 CTD? My lift pump is showing sign of going out. I bought a kit to move the lift pump pretty close to the tank and got a new pump. Have heard this will make them live longer, I hope this will be a good solution and much cheaper than an aftermarked fix. JC

Anybody use one of these for tractor storage? I can get an 18x21 installed for $695 on level ground. They double in price to put metal to the ground on both sides and one end. I'm thinking of doing that part myself. JC

I asked my Asser once, Hey you are telling me what my property is worth and I have to pay taxes on that assessment so if I can't sell it for that HIGH number you claim it is worth, do I get a Tax Refund? It was a very loud NO! and I was annoying them... Weird how even the people who pay taxes if they become a part of the system how they so quickly turn against us as if we are the weird ones....... Like a School Board Memeber.....

Do not drive around with something in the loader with it up high. Makes the tractor very tippy.

I would like to hold out myself just to see the tractor before I buy. I think 200# lighter would be better for a lawn mower, but the extra weight may help with loader jobs.
I'll probably end up with the 2520 and since I'll be using it on the yard, not add any tire weight. JC

Usually a building supply center will have standard plans available at no charge if you purchase the lumber from them. Some of the local stores (not box stores) have designers on hand that will help with variations and then give you are supply list again at "no charge" with product purchase. These designers are also knowledgeable with regard to local building codes so you get the proper foundation, etc. and no hassle from your local building inspector.

I plan to start buying off road fuel 50 gals at a time. I have a rack to put drums on that is 4' high so I can gravity fill the tractor. Any recommendations on this type of setup? Thanks, JC

I bought these ramsp last year for my Foreman and my 250# rear end. They work well on Dodge Ram 4x4, and fold up to fit under the quad in the bed of the p/u. I've had no problems with my tailgate so far.<br>

It's good to have some idea of what pressures to expect. I hope to find my way to the auto parts store and get a pressure gauge in the next couple days.

If that pressure switch isn't defective, I've probably got a real problem, but I'll just stay calm until the facts are in.

I have a 1999 New holland Boomer 1630 w/ hydrostate trans. The problem is I keep blowing the 90 degree shaped hose by the cooler(three times). I had it to the shop and they said pressures are in normal range. the tractor has been doggie but if i use the lift or three point it runs better. Is there a sensor and valve in the hydro system that could have probelms creating to much pressure.

I've been searching through old posts looking for information on an acceptable paint match for Kubota Gray, or whatever the color is that Kubota currently uses on their undercarriages. I haven't found quite what I'm looking for yet. Does anyone know of a decent (doesn't have to be perfect) color match? I know I can get an exact match at the dealer but I'm looking for something more convenient and economical.

I used a synthetic oil made by AmsOil in '95 Dodge Ram. At 10 below zero (upper penn. of Mich.)it spun over like it had been a summer day---and that was a gas engine with no heating devices. Without that oil the starter would really labor. You can buy AmsOil from distributors and, at aleast in Michigan, even local parts stores.<br>

Also a 110vac battery warmer/blanket would likley extend the battery life and help starting.

Hey all. I'm new here, but what a great site for Kubota info! I will be buying a Kubota by November, but not sure if new or used yet. It will depend on the deal. Anyway, is $18,900 a reasonable price for a 2001 L4610HST, 4WD, 47 HP, 4 cylinder diesel with HST transmission, R4 tires, rear loaded, dual rear remotes with a "real clean" Kubota LA852 Q/A Bucket? The unit has a three point hitch and 358 hours. Any guidance, suggestions, comments, and instructions will be helpful and appreciated. Thanks!

Did these prices include the front end loader and the backhoe? If not, all your price quotes are way too high.
*I've been quoted $16,700 for BX24 to include FEL, BH, TAXES, and Delivery.
I still would like a better deal for such a small tractor since it will not be used for business.
