Eucalyptus has posionous leaves and maybe its bark and wood are also posionous to smaller critters. That could explain the missing Cat.

New picture # 16 is the mixer. The tractor end of the driveshaft is not shown. Barely visible is the tire at the right hand end of the shaft below the drum. It is what made the second (fainter) dark band around the drum just behind the tilt frame.

At idle the pto spins it more than slow enough.

I can only imagine Minn. winters are as tough on equipment as Ontario winters.

The term "...once in a great while..." leads me to believe in Murphy's Law, when you want it to work, it won't.

You have accomplished your goal I will never own a lenar or any equipment associated with them till the end of time. Good or bad.
Jake could have put a little iceing on it, but this hate is going to eat you up. He may not have read your post from a couple of months ago. Most everyone has taken a beating you sure did so get in line with me. They (lenar)are bumbs but the fact is you should have shut down the transaction some where around #2 or #3 and got your money from the dealer. When the dealer started another business he got on with his life I am sure he lost money. I am no mechanic other than obvious items. I feel your pain enternal engine parts would be worthless to me unless I could build a bridge to my Island with them. With the problem you have had there might be enough parts. This was not to make light of your problem but to maybe get a smile out of you.

You should look at your parts book to see what is included in the pwr beyond kit as you may be able to buy the parts you need separately. If you don't have the book, look at the dealer's or go to JDParts.com. I found that on my JD955s I only needed one JD part (the hex plug for $2) and all the rest could be done with after-mkt adapters, hoses, and valves. The hardest part was getting the installation instructions....I was fortunate enough to get a copy from a fellow tractor forum participant.

Update!
I bought the tractor today. Same price as I mentioned earlier but with a twist. He is throwing in all his Agracat spare parts. All brand new in the box! Just a few of the parts I saw were a new all in one electrnic gauge package, Hydraulic Pump, Injector Pump, etc. as well as the Agracat Service and Parts manuals. So I think I did ok.

Sounds like a wonderful trip. It is a shame that one event, by an American has to ruin the trip. I have been to Europe a number of times, but not really had much time to do the tourist thing.<br>
The one ugly American incident I had was on one Swiss Air flight home. The couple with the seats behind me, were dressed in the typical tacky tourist attire and seemed to have skipped a number of days of showering or �When in France?� When they stood up it almost knocked you out. The woman looked like the actress in �Throw Mamma from the Train� Ann Ramsey, although slightly more rotund. He looked like an overweight aging businessman. <br>
After the first 20 minutes of the long flight, they started arguing loudly. For a couple of hours they bickered with one another. Periodically, one would leave to cool off, banging my seat, as they squeezed by each other. Naturally this would wake me up for another round of chocking and gasping.<br>
After a few hours of this they decided to raise the fight to the physical level, slapping one another periodically and the back of my seat. I yelled a couple of times, but they seemed oblivious to anyone else. Finally the steward had to ask them to calm down and take their seats and they obeyed. For the last few hours of the fight we could only hear angry muttering, like Kathy Bates in �The Waterboy�. <br>
At the height of the war I leaned over to the man next to me and said, �You know this takes the meaning of the term �Ugly American Tourist� to new heights�. That was about the only laugh we had on that flight.<br>
Well maybe we can laugh now?

Your site is a welcome wonderful find. I am a recent purchaser of an older B20 tractor and am in search of an economical supplier of maintenance manuals and ultimately repair parts. We are somewhat isolated up here on Rowe Mesa so a good website and on-line ordering are important. Thank you in advance for any help or suggestions.

You know, I went back and looked at his post. It does say 4', or 4 foot 1/4 wall tubing, but I think he meant 4" tubing, which is a common size in square tubing, so I used that for the weight. I don't think he built a 28' span bridge out of 4 foot deep tube.

TS, or more recently HSS, is used to designate cold rolled steel tubing. The old TS designation was "Tube Steel", the more recent HSS designation is for "Hollow Structural Sections". Just a sexy industry designation for steel tubing.

I guess one could spend as much as one wanted or as little as one wanted, relative to the extreme of effiency that one wants to go - Lord knows the costs can REALLY climb.
(Quite obviously, you do too)

My Uncle moved into another house awhile back. It was outfitted from day one (maybe 15 years old) with a solar heat/water exchange unit in the basement, with copper tubing running to and fro the collector panels on the roof line. He also has an oil burner as secondary, as well as a wood burning fireplace.

More often than not, I would say about once a year, usually when it started to get cold, the exchanger control board would need replacing - about $450.00 each and every time. Then, the roof needed to be replaced (shingles that is). What a friggin nightmare to execute the removal and replacement. All the solar hardware had to come off first, then the roof work, then the solar panels and piping had to be reinstalled etc etc.

By the time all was said and done, the efficiency / cost effectiveness was costing THEM everytime they turned around.
Then one day, a guy stopped over and asked about buying the complete set up. They did sell it to the guy, but once again, another nightmare, as all the antifreeze lines had to be evacuated first, then the exchanger (big heavy mother)in the basement had to be brought out. On top of this, the solar panels had to be removed from the roof - very gingerly. Then they had to insure that the roof was not damaged from the removal, so the now purchaser had to contact the roofer again, and the story goes on and on, but you get the picture I'm sure.

Needless to say, they are tickled that they rid themselves of this system. I am sure that improvements have been made to the systems since this vintage, but it would be a cold day... before I would contemplate putting it in to my house.

As you mentioned, the costs for the insulation / process is very costly. I had no idea that it cost THAT much these days.....maybe it is time I moved to Brazil...all I would need there would be an umbrella and bug spray! lol (maybe a round or two of ammo too)

Install a dyno (load indicating device) to the boom pole, attach the boom pole to a hard point,(such as a tree) measure distance to the ground, apply hyd pressure slowly and measure the deflection of the pole to the ground and record the weight. This will give you a safe way to lift rocks while montoring the pole deflection at a given distance and stop overloads. It also will give you a rule of thumb for the rocks weight. Murf brought up Shock Load this is a very real threat and could cause great damage. Control of the rocks while moving is of great importance tag lines and such. You must use common sense when you first load up the pole, you are not looking for breaking strength you want a working load limit.
