The 40 would be best now with the house project with the larger scale of soil movement. Later after the construction work is done the 33 would be more then enough and more manuveable for mowing.

Sorry to hear about your problems Jack. What does the coolant in the radiator look like and what does the oil in the crank case look like? Was the oil coming out of the breather tube for the crank case?

Being a life-long resident, I can attest to the fact that Mullen's Cheese (Knowlton) doesn't hold a candle to Wisconsin Dairy State Cheese (Rudolph).

For this type of problem the first thing that needs to be done is to clean all terminals. When you get inconsistant results like this it most often is a bad ground or faulty wire. Glad you checked before spending the money!

I run a 59" on my 855 no problem. Haven't been able to find enough snow to make it work hard yet. Works best when I travel just slow enough to keep the snow from spilling out over the sides.

Again, thanks for the opinions.
My yard is (1.5 acres) is very open. I have only a few places my current 54 mower will not go. I have inherited my Grandparents yard next door and it has lots of trees, but the roots are all on top of the ground and I can't mow close to them anyway. My Church yard is fairly open also except for the cemetary and I have to weed eat most of that anyway. I may end up with a push mower if I get this tractor.
As far as tires, our current JD 650 has a terra type tire on the rear and turf on the front. We have never had a flat on the rear and a couple flats a year on the fronts. Also we are on the 3rd set of front tires and the rears are still original. JC

The proper use of engine block heaters and transmission oil heaters will go a long ways towards getting the optimimum life out of your machine. If the temp is below 50 or so, I plug in the block heater for an hour or so, longer if it is colder before I start up the engine. Never put the tractor to work until it has reached full operating temp. I keep the rpms between 1,200 to 1,400 until fully warmed up and then go to work. The block and oil heaters really speed up and aid this process.

AV8R, the biggest problem I would have about moving away from the Lake Dubay area is that I would be farther away from Knowlton and the cheese factory. I have become somewhat of a cheese curd expert and know most of the best places in the state to get squeeky fresh cheese curds. I've been known to drive 30 miles out of my way to go through Knowlton. They are definately the best.

Kioti supplies one. I know Allied makes one with adaption kit, you can check this on the Bulher web site. Likely Bush Hog makes one, but you can not easily check. I am sure there are others, Sweet Tractors had some listed.

You shouldn't need much vapor barrier in crawl. Here in NC we're required to put down poly and have foundation vents. More vents required without poly. It's kinda like the attic not having vapor barrier because of the ventilation requirements in the attic. If crawl space is bad damp you would probably be better off fixing that probelm. Probably need some grading or just run off downspouts away from foundation. To much moisture in crawl will effect framing before it effects the flooring.

i have reciently bought a 2305 for my business and i love it. it is the perfect match for what i do. but i want to do some mods to it. can any one get me some specs of the hydrolic pump so i can customize a set of pinchers for the 200x loader. has anyone done this and can help in the fabrication. <br>

The B-series actually has about the same wheel base as most sub-compacts making it a real close call as to how much bigger it is in actual size compared to some although they do have a loader height and load advantage.

Ran into a common one the other day with one where the connection to the switch was falling off giving intermittent readings just like yours. Normally when a sending unit goes bad they go bad! Good luck with it!
