hey guys, I bought a king kutter tg-48 tiller (commercial version), it is $50 more than the non commercial. What a no brainer. Tractor supply company is the best for these products. The king kutter was hundreds of dollars less and featured all gear drive, it is built like a sherman tank. I looked at all competetive models, not one came close. the king kutter takes all the abuse we throw at it and then some. Thanks KK, I love your product.

My drive belt would always fall off and slip i had it adjusted right it was snug not to loose not too tight all my gaurds are in place and positioned properly too. I just had it with belt drive the model of cub i am going to a model 73. I have a model 107 already it runs and drives good but its really bad on gas and i blew somthing in the rear end its hydrostatic and now it leaks hydrostatic oil. The 73 has a 7 horse motor it is hydrostatic my 107 is 10 horse. I think that the 73 would be a better riding around tractor because it would be better on gas i wouldnt be asking for the mower deck just for the snowblower if he has it. Im getting the battery out of the simplicity before i trade it in i will just show him it runs first. Whats it mean if they have a cub cadet labled under hydrostatic and its a gearshift transmission? What should i look out for? thanks for your help jeff.

Yes, every week I clean it up and sometimes more often. The other sites were ok that day but this site was slow so I figured something was wrong here. Anytime a site is slow I check some other sites and if they are all slow I clean the 'puter and if still slow I contact my server. Sometimes he has a problem and is glad I told him. I am on a local wireless provider and have pretty good service most the time.

They aren't very strong to begin with and the metal is light and tough to work with. I'd put what ever configuration together that works off the main rails and test it with the load on it before making the span. If you could have it raised you could cable it underneath for additional capacity.

I don't know of any after market but from time to time people buy a piece or two from the manufacturer and build their own. I watch the salvage sheets and although I haven't seen any for sale I think New Orleans will turn up some before done.

As I said, under the hood. Mine was very visible, tie wrapped to a bracket or something alongside the valve cover - simply hanging off the end of a connector. Heavy duty is not required, unless you wire in a trailer harness. A standard duty thermal flasher will do just fine. I seem to recall changing the connectors, but it was only a five minute job. Finally, after 400 hours of use on my JD4310, I finally had hooks welded to the bucket. Up until now I had been wrapping the chain around the bucket. I should have done this long ago but finally got the time and inclination. I purchased 3 weld-on 3/8 grab hooks from AW Direct, 70 grade, they arrived 2 days later for about $22.00. <br>

An old timer stopped by the house and welded them on for $30 - I gave him $40. Done for $62. The best thing is that AW Direct sent me a little pull-back plastic tow truck toy that I let fly down the hall-way at work. <br>

Of course I violated every tenant I've seen about re-inforcing the bucket. I have a heavy duty 61 inch bucket. I don't really stress this machine too much. I had asked the welder about reinforcing plate for the middle hook - he looked at the bucket and didn't think I needed it. I'll let you know when I bend the top of the bucket :)

77, I think I will be off roading in my Gravely lawnmower soon also. Wifey is not in agreement to spend about $10K (after taxes and add-ons) for a Polaris Sportsman X2. She is probably right, I get the winter blues and look for toys, but spring and the JD4310 are around the corner!

Anyway I purchased a service manual today for the K301 Kohler engine on my Gravely and may tear it apart to get the thing to run right again. It moves along at a nice speed in 4th gear! And after getting my "lifetime warranty" Troy Built tiller running again today I am on a roll!

Yes there is no "I" in team. Fan clutches are generally not that expensive. But depending on what type you have you may or may not need a special tool to remove it. I never looked that closely at the PSD fan so not for sure which one you would have. Most Fords you do need it but since the engine is made by International I have no clue.?

Just an update. Got the part, but when I went to work on the tractor, I found it wasn't as easy as it first looked. You can't drop the prop shaft from the trans end. You need to drop from the engine end, which is impossible to get to. So, I decided to order the manual to see how it really comes apart, before having a barn full of parts allover the place.

Just purchased a used E14D Hinomoto (approx 20 years old). Everything pn dash is written in Japanese except for "oil, horn and glow plug". On the dash there are two turn knobs, I think one is for the lights but have no clue what the other is for? Does anyone know?
