I built a form alot like a concrete form as it settles add more dirt. This will help with the dirt washing away. As Murf suggested a dome will help. My form was 40' x 40' it compacted over 2 years and then a slab was poured for the shed. No cracks so far. Tractor is happy.

One misconception I find that many people have with tires, is they read the sidewall of the tire and see maximum pressure and maximum load and assume that they should inflate the tire to that maximum pressure. This is true if that tire is expected to see that maximum load. But, in many cases the actual load is considerably less and, because of this, the air pressure should be adjusted in accordance with manufacturer's chart. All tire manufacturers have load verses inflation tables that should be used to determine the proper inflation.<br>

If you over-inflate, which most people tent to do, the trailer will ride like it is on "Flintstone" wheels. In addition, the contact patch is less, the tires wear excessively in the center, and the braking capacity is diminished. Under-inflation is just a bad.

I've used the W. R. Long electric over hydraulic valve kit and it works great. Yes it does share the fluid with the up/down and dump/curl function. And yes it does slow down when you use all three functions at the same time.

Did you replace more than one tensioner? Peters may also be correct about the fan clutch. Mine went out on my old '89 F-250 with a slight noise.

I'm in the same boat about retrofitting underneath wood flooring. Not sure how well it will work with 1" subfloor and 3/4" solid oak, especially with a thick tibetan rug and mat on top. Next winter I'll know for sure.

Have you looked at the electric heating mats you put under tile floors? It only added $900-1000 per bathroom to our construction costs six years ago.

Not sure how far you want to get into this or how much work you have to do, but I would bet a 3/8 inch piece of 'strap metal'(strong stuff), the length of your bucket. Get on as wide as you need for the proper grade you need. Then you would need to have someone(or do it yourself) - cut it to the proper grade you want. Lastly, you would need to bolt it to you FEL with several strong bolts. I have done things similar, but not what you are talking about.
If it saves the back and time, those holes in the bucket wont cause a problem and it is cheap to do. You could make several for several different grades and line up the holes so you could interchange them.

Almost forgot. You may have to go with the 757 to get the 60 inch. Mower as the 72 inch mower comes standard on the 05 and newer 777's.

One other machine I would suggest that you take a look at is the John Deere F687. It is an "Odd Duck" but it does have some advantages and features other ZTR's don't have.

your best bet is going to be to have it rebuilt, we can get the parts, but the complete starter is discontinued.

I'd look for a bad wire or corroded connection on the ground side.

My next guess would have been a bad relay, but you already switched them around.

If it wasn't for the lack of voltage on the no-starts, I would have said look for a mechanical cause...mouse nest in the flywheel housing or starter bad.

Hopefully oneace will chime in.

My BX had the same design. I always thought it was a vulnerable point.

I was fortunate that I only lost one blade off the fan when I got tangled up in the brush.

Aside from the fact that the assemblies are very cheaply made, grounding is the 2nd biggest problem with lights on Chinese tractors. They paint first, install the lighting later. Make sure both rear light assemblies and the flood light ground wires are grounded to bare metal. Then re-assess the situation. From that point, the issue could go a few other directions.

Any diesel shop should be able to repair them. Where I am we use a company called Miller Diesel.

The L-35 is a great unit and is often a bargin. If you do have rocks then the larger heavier unit will do it easier and in less time.

I can't think of a single reputable business that would be able to make enough sales, at a high enough rate of mark-up to be able to pay a decent salesman enough money to live on purely as a commission.

Any good shop will pay the salesmen a salary plus commission.

Further, any good salesman knows that you are better to make many smaller commissions than a few big ones.
