I'M CURRENTLY INSTALLING THE HEATING AND AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEMS IN NEW CONSTRUCTION MYSELF.<br>
I'M GOING WITH THE BUDERUS GB/142 PROPANE WALL MOUNTED BOILER WITH 4 ZONES ,3 HEAT/AC AIR HANDELERS AND AN 80 GAL BUDERUS INDIRECT HOT WATER HEATER WHICH HAS A LOSS OF ONLY 1/4 DEGREE EVERY HOUR OF NON USE.<br>
NICE STUFF, THE BOILER IS RATED AT 99% EFF AND THE EXHAUST IS ONLY 120 DEGREES TOPS AND IT'S OUTSIDE FRESH AIR INTAKE AND OUTSIDE EXHAUST OF COURSE ARE PLUMBED WITH PCV, ENABLING ME TO CLOSE THE HOUSE UP BETTER.<br>
WELL, IF YOU ARE USING AIR HANDELERS YOU ARE TECHNICALLY USING A FORCED AIR HEATING SYSTEM WITH ALOT OF EXTRA PLUMBING, YOUR USING A HYDROCOIL TO HEAT THE AIR AND FORCE IT WITH A FAN THROUGH DUCT WORK.<br>
MY AIR HANDLERS ARE ALSO EQUIPPED WITH AC.WHICH ALLOWS THE FILTERING OF AIR AND HUMIDITY CONTROL.<br>
DO YOUR HOMEWORK, NOT ALL HOME CONSTUCTIONS ARE GOING TO BE ABLE TO BE HEATED WITH RADIANT HEAT ,THAT WAS MY PROBLEM, CATHEDRAIL CEILINGS, HIGH CEILING HEIGHTS, LOTS OF WINDOWS, SUNRISE/SUNSET IN RELATION TO NORTH,SOUTH,EAST,WEST EXPOSURE,TYPES OF BUILDING MATERALS ALL FACTOR IN, WITH ANY HEATING SYSTEM.<br>
I CONTRACTED AN ENGINEER TP EVALUATE MY PLANS AND DESIGN A SYSTEM THIS ALLOWED ME TO USE A STRAIGHT UP OLD TIME PLUMBER TO DO MY INSTALL AND NOT HAVE TO PAY BIG BUCKS TO A "COMPANY ENGINEER" WHERE COSTS COULD NOT BE CONTROLLED.<br>
$10,000 MORE ???? MAYBE THE EXTRA IN THE ADDITIONAL PLUMBING REQUIRED AND THE MAN HOURS TO INSTALL. THE PROBLEM WE HAVE FOUND IS THAT THE DEALERS FIX THE PRICES AND WONT SELL TO ANY GENERAL CONTRACTOR GOT TO HAVE CONNECTIONS ;)<br>
HOWEVER ITS DIFFICULT TO FIND DISTRIBUTORS THAT ARE ABLE TO SELL DIRECTLY TO DYI'ERS ALOT TO BE SAID ABOUT WARRANTY ISSUES. <br>
NOT TO MENTION THE LAWS AND TECHNICAL EXPERTISE NEEDED TO INSTALL THE AC.<br>
TAKE YOUR TIME AND RESEARCH THE SYSTEM THAT WILL BEST SUIT YOUR HOME, THEN EVALUATE FUEL OPTIONS VERSES TYPES OF SYSTEMS. THEN FIND OUT WHAT EQUIPMENT & SUPPLIES COST, THIS WILL HELP TO ASSESS THE FAIRNESS OF AN ESTIMATE. I HAD THREE MAJOR COMPANIES GIVE AN ESTIMATE BEFORE I REALIZED I HAD TO FIND ANOTHER WAY TO GO. THESE ESTIMATES RANGED FROM 23,500- 28,000 TO GET ME THE SYSTEM I'M DOING FOR UNDER 16,000 BEING MY OWN SUBCONTRACTOR. KEEP IN MIND MANY HOURS OF RESEARCH AND A VERY SLOOOOW BUILD ENABLED ME TO DO THIS.<br>

Does anyone know how the brake works on a BX 23? Is it like a disc or drum or just some type of mechanism that grabs the drive shaft? Any enlightenment would be appreciated. Thanks.

I brought my TZ24DA about 18 months ago and now have about 155 hours. Its a good little tractor, excellent mowing machine.

Take a look at my pictures, I have cut in a driveway using a box blade, it took a while but did the job and I have added a front bumper/grille guard.

I hope you enjoy yours as much as I have mine.

In defense of some of the comments made, ATVs are almost a commodity item. Especially the lower priced units. Many of teh guys on the board do their own maintenance and repair work so service quality is essentially a non-issue. Hence, it comes down to price.

On larger items like tractors, many on this board are willing to give business to a local dealer that has great service because the service aspect can be crucial. But just because one person has great service does not allow them to be completely uncompetative price wise. Am I willing to a go a few percent higher? Yes. Am I willing to go 15-20% higher? Nope. There is a value assigned to good service. Exceed that value and you lose the sale.

I forgot to post the net hauling rate is 5500lbs as the trailer weighs in at 1600lbs and gross capacity is 7000lbs according to the manufacture. I was told that.(I can take it to the scales and weigh it Am I wrong on the net weight?))

My boss got a similar one yesterday. It claimed to be from somebody that didn't get an item that they paid for; to reply to them it took you to the fake ebay site to log in. He was lucky and couldn't remember his ebay password or it would have worked on him. When he told me all this I thought it sounded fishy, when I checked out the e-mail he got the fake site was already down.

They would use the username/pw info to post fake auctions.

RIM GUARD IS A SUGAR BEET BY PRODUCT THAT HAS A FREEZING POINT OF ROUGHLY -40 DEGREES BELOW ZERO<br>
IT HAS A DENSITY A LITTLE LESS THAN CALCIUM BUT IT IS CLOSE<br>
IT WAS DEVELOPED OUT WEST FOR THE LARGE CORN AND WHEAT FEILDS WHERE A TIRE FAILURE ON A QUAD ARTICULATED TRACTOR LIKE A JD 9250 WITH CALCIUM WOULD DESTROY AN AREA OF CROP IT HAS JUST BECAME A OPTION ON THE EAST COAST.<br>

This is getting off the topic a little, although it all has to do with repect for people and throwing your troubles on someone else.<br>
The question is how do you instill respect in citizens for the public property and others personal property. Needless to say dumping your dog on someone elses door step is a symptom not the root cause.<br>
What I said eariler is that you need to have young people take ownership of the public property and neighborhood. The extreme is having the students spit and polish the school like they do in Japan. The moderate is having the students clean parks and road in the area around the school. In this country if I went to deface a public monument like mount Rushmore everyone would be up in arms. If I walked through the area and throw my trash no one would likely say a word. Yet both actions are defacing the monument.<br>
I am not convinced tougher sentencing is the answer. We now have per capital 6 times the incarceration rate of the next industrialized group 7 country, yet the rate of crime is similar to other industrialized nations. The only number that is out of wack is the murder rate. (stats Nationmaster.com) Again I think it is trying to correct a problem after the fact. I think it is better to prevent problems. Like the problem dog, it is far easier to correct the problems of a puppy than after the dog is mature.<br>
With the education system we have now the problems are dumped on the military, penal system or work force. Unfortunately the system in some areas and States is so bad that the good kids are moved out to private or homeschool, therefore the system gets worse. That said I have my hands full at the moment educating my own 2 and their friends.

I took out several fence post for my neighbor.
There were wood, 2'' pipe and steel post like used for chain link fences.
Some I dug out with the BH.
Others I removed by hooking a chain to the post and either the FEL or BH bucket

In my part of the world the dealerships that depend on the farmer or ag business is slow. Those that sell to the homeowner, construction and turf seem to be doing very well.

The farmers here will be pleased to know the last two years were good. Guess that is why so much farm land is for sale or sitting idle.

Just goes to show how large and varied the USA and Canada are.

KT - no gophers in the engine. I checked. No cats either, the dogs keep them away.

The one gopher mound is getting big. I'd guestimate it's over 18" high with the dirt trailings from it's mining operation. Sigh...

I have a rear blade which adjusts up or down on either side. You have to keep a wrench handy and jump off the tractor to make adjustments. I also found that you have to be very careful when you try to dig too much with one end. Your tractor can quickly become very unstable.

I have 10 acres of rocky desert, will never need a mower and the backhoe will be the primary function of the machine.
I will do some more research as the heavier machines might be the best prospect for rocky work.
There are some B-35s in that price range if I can find one in good shape. Any opinion on the 35s ?

The control valve body must have a Power Beyond Port. Not all valve bodies are PB compatable, or have a Power beyond Port. Make sure the valve has Power Beyond, or you won't be able to have the continuous pump flow to downsteam circuits. All valves exhaust to the reservoir in open center systems. Closed center system dead head at the valve.
