I own this problem, since I pass your Photo content around a bit escaping the quotes was giving me a headache so as a hack I just converted it to feet or inches, not perfect of course. I will look at fixing this in the future.

Don't own a Kubota but several Iseki compacts. Loader and/or backhoe installed on your machine? If the new HST unit is failing in the same manner as the previous, I'd guess your clutch housing/tunnel is warped/twisted or perhaps cracked. Since you bought it used, carefully inspect the tunnel for any cracks or signs of it having been welded or repaired. I would hope the service technician at the dealer would have noticed this while installing the new unit.<br>

the other day i noticed that when i was on my john deere 790 that my front end loader was loose this was with no load on it. The loader is loose where the peice comes out from the frame and the loader arm sets on, do any of you know what this could be or where i can check to see whats came loose also it doesn't seem to affect the use of the loader, it's tight with a load on it just when there is no load it bouncing up around on that piece, by the way the loader is the 300 loader. sorry i don't the exact names of the parts.

Not sure if western Oregon counts as a northern state, but our last electric bill was $280 for a 3600 sf house that is very well insulated and extremely tight. Temperature for 2-3 weeks of the month was in the mid 20's. Next year we're installing an outdoor wood burning furnace and radiant floor heat on the main floor to help out.<br>

Edit: Forgot to mention that this was with propane hot water and propane cooking and some of the cheapest electricity in the nation at 6 cents/kwh. So much for a ground source heat pump saving energy.

when i first start tractor the nothing happens when i put the tractor in gear then in just a couple seconds after the pedal is released the tractor starts to move any adjustments or etc that will help thanks

I viewed your picture section and thought your aux. lighting on the ROPS looked interesting. Could you provide a closer picture of how you mounted them? and where you spliced for power? I own an L3130 and want to install strobes and upper aux. lights for nighttime maintenance on my camp road. The current factory headlights are useless except for transporting. Thanks

Ive qwned two HST's, a 2710, and a 3130 presently. I guess Ive never heard this whine that you describe on either. Neither one had/has a cab.

Just use a bagless shopvac. I've eliminated a half a dozen nests this way. Actually you can be crouched down next to the hole and hold the hose, as they are flying in and out, you just suck them up. Or just lay the hose next to the hole, and within a couple of hours....you have them all! I use a big 20gal shop vac(clean filter for max suction,very important:)~ anyways, most of them are dead, in shock, or very dis-orentated. Probably from the terminal velocity they reach in the hose, just before they hit the baffle. I dump them in the fire pit. You could suck up some "Sevin", tape off the hose, and let set a few days, I guess.

Technically, you should only have to determine the inside diameter of the lower hose, then buy a unit to fit. They should be available in various sizes at most auto parts and farm stores.

But I seem to recall the lower hose sticking out a ways away from the engine. I always worried about catching it on something. You'd have to make sure an inline heater wouldn't aggravate that situation.

Have you considered a block heater? Freeze plug types are most common, but I think I read where one guy figured out how to install one right near the thermostat.

I would hope that Agco would back their tractors, I can get nearly anything for my 45 year old MF 65. I think the 1040 was a Hinomoto, but has Toyosha engine. I read that Toyosha went bankrupt, so parts might be hard to find. From what I can read on the net they have parts available. One person said he had whole engines. There are a number of dealers on the west coast that stock parts for Hinomoto, if you are stuck I would phone them.

Beagle, How hard was it to install the B2910 rear fender onto your 7800 and do you think those fenders are still around ? Does the fender have some kind of number incrementation for the control lever ?<br>
I'm in the final stages of having Kubota buy back my B3030. The deal works this way, They will give me back my full purchase price. If I then decide to, I can purchase a B7800 and Kubota will install, free of charge a control valve in place of the quarter inching system for the 3 pt. hitch. They claim that this is an easy conversion, but the dealers I've talked to have never done this before. One of my concerns is how the control lever will can be preset while moving.<br>

Part # for nh manual is 86599233 it covers the trans, clutch, pto, diff, real axle and brakes, didn,t come up with a price. The noise you hear, is ther any implement hoked to the tractor or will it do it on its own.

I don't want to beat a dead horse with some of my comments here and without seeing what you have if what I say is way wrong forgive me.

I would think using a chain as Murf suggested for third arm would serve better than no link. It would allow you to lift the blade for backing. It would also allow the blade to do some floating that a fixed third arm would not. Contrary to someone elses thought you can still use the blade pushing backwards with chain. You push with your lift arms and not your third arm.

As to your welded on skid plates, could they not have been raised to get the blade closer to the drive way?

As to your blade being difficult to adjust, it may have a place or places on it to grease. Or it may be such you have clearance to shoot grease between the moving parts to help.

My experience with old blades versus new ones is the newer ones seem to bit better than the old ones at least in dirt. Part of that is due to the design. It seems you have a old heavy blade and you may find a lighter weight and duty blade does not bite in the same.

Have you thought about Murphy Pipe set up? No doubt Mr. Murf would license you to use his highly prized and valuable patten. Just kidding. Have no idea if there is a patten or not. Ask Murf.

Again, as someone who does not have snow but has moved a good bit of dirt with scrape blade and box blades and such, I do not understand why snow would be so different and difficult. Guess it is based upon the volumnes in how to handle snow but very little on how to handle dirt. Then dirt normally does not fall 2 feet deep either.

Have you thought about a heated drive?

I would like to get a subframe mount for my JD 655, for any backhoe manufacturer at this point. That is, I am not having any success finding a backhoe manufacturer that also provides a subframe kit for a JD 655. I have tried Koyker, Great Bend, Bush Hog, Rhino and Woods. I don't want to go to a 3-point mounting system even though I will only use the backhoe for light digging and trenching. Has anyone had any experiance with a subframe mount on a JD 655? Can anyone suggest a fabrication shop that could make up a subframe mount for a JD 655?<br>

I have a C174 but no manual. I have a manual of an Allis-Chalmers 5015 who should be the crossover. In this manual it is indicated that the tractor has dry shoe brakes. My C174 however has been leaking oil through a hole in the gasket of the brakecover. So, now I would like to know: are the brakes of the C174 of the wet shoe type, or do I have a severe problem? For the moment I have no more leaking as I fixed the gasket.
