I am looking for any information on what model number or specifics I need to find a front blade for my 445 model lawn tractor. every blade i find on ebay or elsewhere fits either the smaller or larger tractors than what i have. when i ask the seller (even dealers) what blade WILL fit my tractor they seem to ignore the question. (if any one knows of one for sale in the Ohio/southern Michigan/Indiana area that would be even better)<br>

Man, that's a bummer. I bought my tractor used from a friend and could find only an engine ser. #. I called NorTrac and asked where it is located and he told me that it is supposed to be at the bottom of the left fender but they didn't always stamp them. Mine isn't stamped so I recorded the engine number. I think I will stamp my name and my own number on it and record that. Small tractors, Bobcats and similar equipment are easy pickin's. I thought about hiding the key but all they have to do is kick the shed door in, open the big door, jump the starter with a screwdriver and load up.

I am still hoping I did the right thing.<br>
I bought an L3130 with 735 loader, industrial tires filled,cost $17,250 added the Quick attach on the front end $350, pallet forks $700,and a frame mount $700 on the tractor to put my Woods 7500 backhoe on, plus 2 years insurance $348 for a total of $19,342.<br>

Pete and I were talking about a corn or wood pellet burning car. A Hemp pellet burning car, seems like "Nice Dreams" (Cheech and Chong). Could certainly make a calmer nation. Especially in LA.

Looking for a replacement for a Mitsubishi MT-210D tractor. Original pump failed and filled crankcase with hydraulic fluid until it came out the oil level dipstick. One vendor told certain cubs have the same diesel and engine parts. Number on pump is GP-3844AL. Was plowing snow at local fire hall when pump failed. Tractor is sitting outside. Need ASAP. Thanks. Pete; I did not see the post earlier. Is that the post in the WSJ by Holman W. Jenkins Jr? I think Jenkins is the one laughing at us. I have read a couple of his articles and I don't think he has the were with all, to understand the problems or the technology. As he lives in the center of the metropolis and previously in Hong Kong it is likely he doe's drive much. His BA in literature and MA in journalism does not really make him an expert in technology in my opinion.<br>
Although I am not an expert, I am a member of SAE. I have worked on materials for NiMH batteries and have one patent in the area. I helped pull apart the first Prius to hit American shores years ago for analysis. I agree the technology used in the hybrids is not perfect, but neither is the logic used by Jenkins. I can say the technology has advanced since the first model.<br>
Personally I think the MIT review puts a truer prospective on Hybrid technology.<br>
They are talking about taking your fuelcell car home and pugging it into the electrical grid.<br>
Personally I think the clean diesel makes better sense, then again clean diesel and hybrid technology may do even better.

Yes, but what really has me puzzled yet is where did the short go that would not let me groung it before. Like I said if it shows up now it blows the breaker and goes to the rewind shop. Also, I missunderstood the lineman when he explained earlier this year about single phase, two phase, three phase. He told me today that the 220v comes from a center tap transformer like an earlier post said. He said that two and three phase is available in residential if I can justify a need and they approve it. But it costs a lot more. Sorry, my mistake, I just misunderstood what he had told me when I inquired about a new service here last year.

Grade 2 has no markings. Grade 5 has 3 lines. Grade 8 has 5 lines. Metric bolts will have the class stamped into the head.

Glad you like your tractor. "haggling" use to be an art form. The big box stores make us think it is not suppose to be done today. It will surprise many to learn even some of them will haggle if you ask. In some curtails it is expected. Now, a gentleman knows when he should not haggle either.

I have a CUT that loves a brush cutter. Be sure your cutter can safely handle what you want to cut without damaging it.
