I am suprised a new tractor would not have some sort of suspension. I purchased a universal suspension seat and replaced the one on my MF 65. Some of the Japanese tractors have the flat floor but are higher under the seat and will not accept a normal universal seat. I believe there is one low profile seat available. Have you looked through the Northern Tool selection?

I have a JD 4310 (32 hp) and use a 6 ft box blade with out and difficulty with R4's. I can get traction limited if I get the box blade really filled up with rock. Then I just raise the 3 pt up a touch and I'm off and running again.

What size rear blade for 3520 with r4 s

I had the bailer belt on the top of my old blade for many years, works like a champ. When I got rid of the old blade and got a new Land Pride, put the belt on it too, makes a big difference in moving snow around.

I use my Bush Hog 60 for both pasture and lawn mowing now with quite acceptable results. My tractor dealer sells "grass blades" for the Bush Hog. They might even be manufactured by Bush Hog. The blades are made with a little twist, much like a finish blade, which sucks up the grass to be cut much better than the standard Bush Hog blade that came with the mower. The price is pretty good as well. $30.00 for both blades. These "grass blades" are still heavy duty. I don't change them when I have to cut small brush. No problems.

I forgot about my one winter driving a logging truck. Truck and pup trailer weighing 90k lbs sliding backward down a hill in the woods. You've gotta get off the brakes and steer. There's no time to make any mistakes. What a ride!

I agree with jd's concern of the safety of using any motor (any electric anything for that mater with voltage where it can be touched) with voltage on the frame. Regardless of how safe a person is and how aware all it takes is one slip or stumble...it could be you, your child or someone who just stopped to say hello.

It isnt powerful, but in the small cab, it does help. I have it screwed into the middle of the rh A pillar, so that I can tilt it onto the w/s to help defrost, or towards me. If you live in a really cold area (like upstate NY, Vermont, etc), then a high BTU may be better. Here in Va, I really dont need one that high. Just a thought for you.

The drive bys are usually using some type of emlusion. Talk to a "LOCAL" contractor.

1st they can look at the condition of your asphalt.
2nd they should have access to different sealer products from a local bulk supplier.
3rd they are some one you can grab by the neck if you need some satifaction.

We generally buy a generic sealer in bulk from a major supplier. However we have many different products that work in different applications.

I have a couple of long stories about driveby pavers and they include "SPECIAL MIX" for $100 a ton but since it was left over they can give you a price of $50 per ton cash. Our most expensive polymer modified mixes do not come close to $50 a ton.

You may also want to look at the golf car/cart covers offered by Northern Tool (under the tarps/covers section).. they run about $100 or less and have zippers at each corner and vinyl windows..

Check you voltage at the battery while the engine is running. Should be between 13.7 and 14.3 VDC. If not check the voltage at the alt. it self. If you have good voltage there then you have a regulator problem if not you have an alt problem.

Glow plugs and manifold heaters are pre-heaters. I think you mean engine heaters; water or oil. Unless they've changed the design, the bottom of the Y385 crancase is ribbed. As such, contact heaters won't work . Folks have reported satisfaction with lower radiator hose heaters, and a few have tried freeze plug heaters. Of the two, I think I'd put more trust in the lower hose heater.
