Can anyone tell me if I need to disconnect the battery on Tractor before I weld Hooks on my Front FEL. I think if I<br>
Put the Ground clamp close to where I am welding I will be alright. Anyone have advise for me.<br>

I'm looking to buy a B7610 in the spring. I'm just wondering on how good of a finish cut this machine does. It will have a 60"MMM and turf tires. Currently I mow 3 acres with a Wheel Horse with a 48" deck. I have a nice lawn and just want to ask current owners of this model if you have any opinions.

I've run mobil one for about 20 years in all my gasoline cars and trucks. At 120k miles engine A (4-cylinder) had like new leakdown and compression numbers and inside the valve cover looked like new. Engine B (6-cylinder) had similar results at 160k miles. Frankly, I don't need better oils for these engines and especially not higher priced ones. It gives me comfort to change the oil at regular intervals. No oil improves with age and use.

Murf, the marvel of muscles versus our mechanical marvels is still difficult to grasp. The force of the horse as it leans into the traces to start a large log (2000 lb)moving for say the first 20 feet or length of the log could be 33,000 ft lbs of work in 10 seconds. Meaning the horse is actually out putting 10 or more HP in that short time. Mechanically you might need a 40 HP tractor or more to start and drag the log through the trees.

Update on my Ruger Super RedHawk. I took it back to the gun shop and they (their pro) fired all my different ammo. There is a difference of only a couple of inches between them all. It was me all along!!!! The Winchester rounds shot an inch or so high at 25 yards. The MagTech and Hornady were about 1-2" below the sight line as were the 45LC. The pro held a 3 shot group of 1 1/2inches with the Hornady's (Hot loads) at 25 yards using a rest.

I felt like a fool. A good friend of mine, who also shoots allot had problems with it too. I need to hang on harder with the hot loads or just stay away from them. It is funny that I shot as good as the pro on one brand of ammo and lost it on the others, even the light loads. Oh, well practice makes perfects.

As to codes there is reasons for them. Some even make a lot of sense which I fully agree. Now why was the code for years on a 110 circuit a power and a neutral or the black and white wire only? Then there came the smaller guage ground and then it was decided the ground must be as large as the power. <br>

At the same time there was code requirement for the 110 circuit to have the third wire the ground as the same guage as the power and neutral the code also said if you were to replace the outlet itself in an old 2 wire circuit you were to use or at least allowed to use the 3 prong outlet giving the impression to someone using it to be a grounded outlet. Now if that makes sense I forgive those who make codes and think they are perfect. Some of the electric codes (last I studied them) were a lot like some of the IRS code, law but huh?<br>

As to a good local electrician, please if you do, do ask more at least two and let us know if both gave the exact same answer. Now, let one be about 30 and one about 60. Don't forget to ask how many barns, houses or what ever each has wired and then how many have burnt due to wiring.<br>

I have a D-14 that I grew up with that needs restored. Spent several summers working for my Grandfather and Uncle on their dairy farm in the 70's. Ran a D-15 with AC loader haul manure. Didn't try loader for digging other than rock picking. Great tractors. Love the color!

I have 600 feet of asphalt driveway that is 16 feet wide. I am interested in buying a Ventrac 3000 or 4100 for plowing my driveway. I was wondering if anyone had experience plowing with a 3000 or 4100? Can the 3000 get the job done or should I consider spending the extra money on the 4100? <br>

I AM NOT SURE WHAT YOU LIKE ABOUT THE NEW HOLLAND. I HAVE NOT SEEN THE CASE MODEL. IN MY OPINION YOU CAN'T BEAT THE DEAR 2305. IT HAS MORE POWER TO THE LOADER THAN THE ABOVE MENTIONED. I LOOKED AT THE NH AND IT LOOKED LIKE A PIECE OF JUNK. MTY WIFE ACTUALLY LAUGHED WHEN SHE SEEN I WAS EVEN GOING TO CONSIDER IT. IT IS PLAIN UGLY AND VERY INEXSPENSIVE LOOKING. THE GREEN PAINT WILL ALWAYS BRING MORE CASH ON A TRADE OR SALE. I WILL PUT MY LIFE ON THAT ONE. BUY THE ONE YOU LIKE THE BEST IS WHAT I ALWAYS SAY. TAKE IT FROM ME YOU WLL LOVE THE LOADER. YOU WILL NEVER HAVE A SORE BACK AGAIN. I HAVE TWO HERNIATED DISC AND I HAVE NOT HAD BACK PAIN SINCE I HAVE OWNED THE LOADER. I JUST SOLD MY 2210 WITH LOADER AND NOW GETTING THE 2305 JUST TO STAY CURRENT. THE RE SALE VALUE ON THE 2210 MADE IT A NO BRAINER TO GO TO THE NEWEST MODEL.YOU WILL USE IT MORE THAN YOU THINK. TO ME, THE TRACTOR IS USELESS WITHOUT THE FEL. IF YOU GET THE FEL. IT WILL BECOME YOUR BEST FRIEND.

You would probably not be able to make your own injector pop off tool. If you take them to a local dealer or diesel shop they would probably test them for next to nothing if they would even charge you at all.
