Fairplain Tractor Sales, Inc. beat out the other 2 dealers by $900 to $1400 on my BX23 and is 30 miles or more closer to me than the other dealers.

Murf, is there a way a person could spray the liquid on a gravel road/drive without spending a great deal on a specialized spraying rig?

If you are using only the bucket of your FEL, it fills fast with snow.

If you have a long driveway and no rear blade, you can make one long pass down the middle. With the bucket full you can continue to push and it will spill out the sides. You then can make a whole bunch of passes from one end at a skew angle slightly less than perpendicular and push it out the sides and work your way to the other end. Kinda in a harringbone pattern. With a blower you buzz up and down and possibly take a 3rd pass and you are done.

I appreciate the quick response.
With the 790's front end off the ground, the wheel itself has play (top / bottom play), I guess that to be the housing? Any adjustment would have to be inside the axle housing or behind the hub.
The wheel play reminds me of when my Grandad loosend the front wheel bearings on his old Impala, because the calipers would stick.
This crazy idea was for the wheel to wobble around enough to loosen things up, along with a half a can of WD-40. It ultimately ended with a hole in the tranny and the car catching on fire. (A long story)
Anyways, as you can guess, my "mechanical heritage" is a bit to be desired and I certainly appreciate the discussion.

I have a friend that uses a single shank subsoiler to bury pipe and such. He fastens the pipe to the suboiler and it will pull the pipe into the ground and bury it in a simple single step. Of course the pipe or wire must be smaller diameter than the hole cut by the subsoiler point. Now we don't have many rocks in our ground. Have seen subsoiler (many commercial ones for telephone lines) with big sweeping type elbow on them to feed the wire/pipe into used to a good bit in this area. The elbow must come out above ground and is turned to the rear of the plow. For my yard digging it was much better to use a trencher. Rented right reasonable. Again, no rocks. Agree with use of plastic or cardboard for dirt on grass.

Something I found that helps me on changing any diesel fuel filter even if messy is to fill the filter before installing it. Less air to bleed. Have done that and not had to bleed the tractor at all.

I have cut trees that weight more than a much larger tractor than the one being discussed, here that had to fall into a narrow safe area. I took cable and hooked to the tree around 20 feet or so from the ground around the ree. Then with enough cable to have tractor clear of the futherest possibly reach of falling tree pull on the tree before ever starting the cut. If the tractor was able to lean in the safe direction I would cut it. The local power company uses a small hand pulley system with about a 5/8" inch nylon rope to pull trees the same way with a person pulling the rope.

I learned to be sure it could lean the tree before ever starting the cutting. Had a tree to pull a pickup where it wanted it as Murf expressed. Due to sufficient cable length no damage, oh the house the tree hit? It did live with repairs.

I also have a Shibaura SD2203 I just bought. Am looking for operator's and service manuals. It's supposed to have the H843 diesel engine in it. Any info on obtaining the manuals, filter numbers, oil and fluid numbers, etc would be greatly appreciated.

Power beyond means that the pump flow is available beyond the valve for additional or existing circuits. The pump flow goes directly through the valve body without being routed to the work ports. When a spool is activated, pump flow is directed to the work port as required, but the balance of the flow is still available downstream from the valve. Whenever you add a valve into an existing hydraulic circuit, you normally need a valve with a power beyond port to keep fluid flow available to the rest of the circuit.
