Okay, how would you keep oil level correct in the engine? Or would that be an issue when it is on it's side? Is there pressure in the remote tank?

Living on flat ground we don't have many rollovers but they do and people get killed. Glad you were safe. I read a warning on a tractor recently that made good sense. In case of roll over do not attempt to leave seat. Of course it had roll bar and seat belt. Each only as good as the user. I think the tractor seat belt on mine may be a used feature now.

Was wondering if anybody out there has a Super RedHawk in the .454 Casull? I'm having trouble with different loads shooting drastically off. When shooting the Winchester 250 Gr. jacketed hollowpoints at 25 yards everything is good. When shooting the same loads at 50 yards, the group shifts 6 to 8 inches to the left. When Shooting Hornady loads at 25 yards, it shoots 2 to 3 feet straight down from the target. Magtron ammo shoots 2 feet to the left at 25 yards. It is also supposed to shoot 45 Long Colts. They are so far off I can't tell where they are going past about 6 feet away.<br>

Anybody having the same problem. I'm shooting the 7 1/2" barrel model with open sights.

I am making the plunge - I've decided to purchase a tractor to cut grass in my suburban community and "shovel" snow during the winter. However, with this being my first tractor purchase, I am looking for a way to make sure I'm getting the most tractor for my money. I'm looking at BX 1830 and 2230, and want to know if 1) tractor dealers regularly negotiate prices on new tractors, or if prices are set like at a dept. store; and 2) what amount of markup I'm likely to experience when purchasing a new tractor. (I'm in Maryland, if that makes a difference)<br>

I know they (the dealers) have to make a living, too, but I just don't want to give away ALL my hard-earned money... Thanks for all your assistance!

Changing a front tire on a JD 790, w/FWD, I noticed a bit a wheel play, then proceeded to check the other side. Question: How much play is too much, if any? Is it possible to take up the slack?

I think Yoop and Peters have it covered. Just about anything will do based on your listed needs. A small unit may not be good if you are trying to fill a large tractor tire that was flat or if you are trying to run air-powered tools other than nailers. I've got a bigger 35 gallon unit that is on wheels. I move it around, but it's not as portable as others. It has it's limitations. But it does fill a tractor tire.

Both of the last two posts are really close to exactly on the money.

A lot of the equipment in the 'Plow Prep.' package is already on the truck if you have any or all of the 'Towing', 'Super Cooling', 'Payload', etc., packages.

As a result the cost is minimal if you already have some or all of the others.

I just bought a new 3520 with a factory cab about two weeks ago and i ahve been installing things on it from the day o brought it home so i haven't used it yet but think i will love it. I did look at the Curtis cab before buying the 3520 and when JD came out with the cab i sold my 4310. If JD had not came out with the cab i was going to buy the Curtis as i think they make the best cab for the money. Good luck and enjoy.

I agree Chief.....the 420 only has about 800lbs lifting capacity, where as the 430 is twice that or better. That's why I was trying to get the MMM also. Thanks.

Don't know much about horses although my sister in-law's family is heavy into show horses, boarding with arena's and a training pool. One of my renter's is a seamstress that works for a store selling riding apparel. She has done outfits for the Rose Bowl parade.

As was refered to in an above post, some sort of insulation between the roof steel and the trusses may have prevented this problem. It would be a little tough to add this after-the-fact so some sort of spray-on insulation would probably work too. When I had a 30x56 shop/garage built last year (stud frame on stem wall and footer, steel siding and roof, truss roof), the contractor suggested a "condensation blanket" under the roof steel. It looks like regular fiberglass insulation but is only about an inch thick and has heavier plastic on the top and bottom. It compressed down to a minimal thickness above the trusses where the steel was screwed down. So far I have been pleased with its function. It also provides some thermal insulation for the building in both summer and winter.

#8 copper is fine for 30 amps,You do need to run a # 10 ground wire with the #8s making it a 4 wire. you still need the 2 ground rods and do not bond the neutral and grounds

I was told that the snow blower for both the BX22 and the BX24 are the same. I don't know if it would be the same for the BX23 but I assume that it would be. I was thinking of buying the blower for now and consider the exchange of tractors for later, even possibly selling the BX22 myself than buying the BX24 outright which was quoted for a price of 16,500.

when you want the best you pay more and I'm sold with amsoil in all my vehicles, tractors,and hydro trans also, I have noticed a quite difference in the motor and HST, check out the amsiol.com web site for more info.
