The first thing you want to verify is your dyno/alternator capacity. Each 50 watt lamp will need about 4 amps. Limit your lights to 80% of your alternator capacity, or upgrade your alternator.'

For a wiring harness, run 14ga wire for lights. The larger the wire, the less resistance and less draw on the system. If you don't use an auxiliary fuse line from the box, add a inline fuse to your new harness.

We fabricated the mounts and used holes that were already in the ROPS structure. If you don't have holes that you can use, clamp to the ROPS with 2"x3" u-bolts. It isn't recommended to drill or weld to the ROPS. We ran the harnesses through the ROPS and came out at the hinge. The switch is just an in-line toggle switch that I used an extra bolt hole in the rear fender for mounting.

Should be pretty straight forward from there. Just make sure you have the juice to run whatever lights you have in mind.

I will let you know. I am going this morning to look at a ck25hst and a ck30hst. Don't know too much about the Kioti brand, but from what I have heard they are good tractors and considerably cheaper than the big three brands.

When you say "tree line", is you intention to totally block out the view of your neighbor or just a nice line of trees along the property border? What Ken suggested is a good idea to totally block out the view. You can now buy genetically modified Lob Lolly Pine trees which are reported to grow to maturity in about 10 years.

Generally the only thing high range is used for is driving on level roads. Not much work requires higher speeds. What you're experiencing is normal.

Dennis,

Real sorry to hear about Koko. Sure hope he get better as much as is possible. At 12 years old, he has had a pretty good run as far as dog years go. It is amazing how much we grow attached to them. Don't know what I would do without my two dummies. ;O)

I bought a 51 inch Woods Tiller in spring. I couldn't be happier! It works well with my 2210. The tractor has plenty of power for it and the I-match makes hooking-up a breeze. It's amazingly quiet. You can see it in my pictures.

Don't limit yourself to 42 inches. You'll want the wider width to hide tire tracks and to get close to edges, etc.

I bought mine back 07/2004, (northwest Georgia) and paid the following before taxes, and insurance. I don't know what make model loader you are being quoted, Check because different ones have different stength and or capacities.

I think Carver equipment sells Kubota tractors and have prices listed online. Good luck I've been pleased with mine so far.

Thanks for passing that along Mark. My utmost respect for Jordan, his comrades, their sacrifices and what they're doing in Iraq and other parts of the world. A friend of one of my own relatives, a Lt., just returned from duty in Iraq. He felt we belonged there, that we were making a difference and shared the same sense of duty and honor as Jordan. You don't seem to hear that in the media.
I cringe when I see Cindy Sheehan and her supporters on TV. I empathize the loss of her son but she, and now, Rep. John Murtha from my home state, are responsible for prolonging the war and it's casualties. The enemy sees and hears this division at home and is emboldened by it. As with your friends son Jordan, I have the utmost respect for Rep. Murtha's service and sacrifice for this country, but, how can you say to pull our troops out after all of this? What about all the service people that have given their lives? Was it for nothing? Do we just say, well, sorry! If I had a son or daughter get killed in Iraq I'd be pissed but if they now just up and pulled out after having a son or daughter killed I'd be looking for revenge on someone's ass. I was putting gas in my car when it was $3 a gallon. There was a woman behind me and a man on the other side of the pumps. Though I normally keep to myself, I commented, "Some people say we're in Iraq ONLY for the oil, if that's correct, I wish we'd start taking some." The woman misunderstood my comment and said, "Yes, I don't know what we're doing over there!" and made a few other comments about the President. The gentleman on the other side of the pumps said, "Would you rather them be fighting over here?" I personally believe we would be!
I have to say one other thing. I don't consider myself to be prejudicial, BUT, I don't hear Muslims condemning the slaughter of innocent people (especially women and children), beheadings, mutilation of bodies, etc. If they don't condemn it, they must support it. If they support it, then I guess I'm against all Muslims. So be it.
That's all my opinion and I suppose I could be wrong.
Like I said, I normally keep to myself, sorry for the rant but not for my feelings on it.

You need a 54 or 60 inch blade for that tractor.

Read those tire sidewalls, and replace them when they start showing weather checking/cracking.

Cheap tires are no bargain either. I have had then blow and then catch fire on the interstate. NOT fun.

If you have the parts manual, the parts picture diagrams give a pretty good view of parts and their approximate location. Do you have a parts manual?

Seen a few, they normally wedge over the teeth or the edge of the bucket with a screw clamp to secure in the bottom of the bucket.

Peter I think I saw that tractor while out visiting dairy farms there a couple of years ago! I really don't know that but I sure did see a bunch of the older Kubotas.
