Are you guys adding lights to the kubotas doing a home run fused supply line from the battery back, or is there a factory line that get's most of the way back? If you are running a new/fresh line back, what route are you choosing that protects the wire and makes routing easy? I want to put 2 on, 2 forward, 1 reverse for BH work, all relativly low wattage (esp the reverse). (say, 15 W each).

Well, I ended up digging it up. Even with my excavator neighbors big compressors, we just couldn't free the obstruction. I could vac my foam rubber 'mouse' quite a ways each way, but even with super light thread, I couldn't get more than about 1/2 way or so.

So I started digging it up. I dug and I dig, through my jigsaw puzzle boulder garden I call soil. I just couldn't find it, but my excavator was able to locate it with his fancy equipment. I was 2" away from the hole I dug. :)

Where I dug it up, I've turned it up and added an outlet and pull box at that location, should make things easier to service, and really, an outlet would be handy there.

I have 3 thhn wires to pull, or a 12-2 romex. But based on feedback here, I'm thinking I'll go get some uf and pull; it's got the better/heavier jacket, can handle some moisture in the conduit, etc. Will I have any problems with heat dissipation (hence thhn) or should I not worry about it. I'm running 12, but have a 15A breaker (instead of a 20).

BTW, I was running 12 instead of 14 in case I decided I want to run a drill or something down there. What is the maximum voltage drop you could have when running something like a drill (inductive load) without damaging the tool? (I'll save the harbor freight tools for the far out field work just in case!).

I was told that the difference in HP between the two models was in the fuel management but I can't attest to that being correct but when I bought my 33D in the spring of 2003 it was a better buy imho and that was when it used the 7308 loader like the 30 still does. I personally like the more comfortable seat on the 33, the better view given by the sloped hood, the better control layout on the rear fenders, and the tilt and telescoping steering. The extra capacity of the new loader on the 33 would be a plus [but you raise the capacity on the 7308 by adjusting a set screw] and the curved arms give a little better vision to the side and just plain look good. I have a B2410. The fuse for the dash and headlights has blown twice. I checked the wiring for any bare wire and couldn't find anything. I'm on my third fuse. It seem to be holding for now. Has anyone had the same problem or know of something it could be? Thanks Jeff

We have always used Drawtite hitches and have been satisfied with their quality. We are fortunate to have a local Drawtite dealer who is very competetive in price even with online sources, and also very knowledgeable. Don't know about Hidden Hitch, but I think Drawtite and Reese are owned by the same parent company.

Hi looked at a used 6284, demo unit from dealer with 165 hours. Unit comes with FEL, if I add a 60" mid mount deck and add tax the out the door price is below 11600.00. Is this a good deal (dealer to change all fluids)(unit is a 05, still has full 2 year warrenty)?<br>

First look in the radiator and top it off with water only if you are sure it is a radiator leak. Do change the oil out to fresh so not to hurt your rotating parts. Head gaskets or upper cylinder leaks will show up with little bubbles in the radiator when you remove the cap with the engine running or if you have a pressure tester it will show the pressure there.

For much of your use the hydro is fine if not the best. I'd go to the L-3400 to take benifit of the the two stage clutch for the hog work if not the hydro.

I have tested my 2000 Dodge and my 97 Ford trucks with the gate up and down. I saw no difference so I left them up. I am sure it relates to the areodynamics of the pickup. I am not sure that the older pickup did not give you an increase. I think I tested the 83 Ford and found some increase.

I replaced steering shock and on reassembly The steering column didnot line up into gear box even though it looked ok at a glance. make sure column is seated well into gear box (steering box)

I am looking at buying a JohnDeere 2030 tractor with 3000 hours. It is locally owned and has been used to maintain a 3 acre lawn. Mint condition with easy attach bucket in New condition. Also has a open canapy. Looking for some advice from someone who knows. The mechanic I talked to stated that this is one of the best John Deere models produced. Well said Randy! While serving it is important to have some positive reinforcement from home. All to often the negativity that is in the news is all to demoralizing and inappropriate. Yes we are able to express our views and that is what we fight or have fought for to make this country. It is all to unfortunate that the news medias center up on the slightest bit of dissention and often dramatize it on the headlines that our troops in the battle field might see. On a more positive note our local legion has a free prime rib dinner tonight for veteran members as a special thanks to them, and there guests are only five dollars.

I did not know they had synronizers in those trans. The part about your post that was troublesome is going down the road in 4 and it locked up.

Moving the shifter to any position and it stays in first or locks is indicative of the shifter being out of the rails and trans is in one gear and the tractor will lock up if you by chance can get it in another gear.

pulled out my 2 year old bill. paid $2200 for my bx 2750 blower.I have about 1200ft of macadam driveway also.My only complaint is 2 or 3 passes and I'm done. last year i might have run the blower for a total of 10 hrs and that was blowing every neighbors driveway who would let me.beats the heck out of a walk behind, however.
