Being able to lug the engine isn't the worst thing out there. It's a pretty good audible indicator of what the load is. Most people will lift before choking the motor off which is much better than being suprised by a broken cable. Slip clutches are nice, but they are very hard to dial in. Shear pins are proably more reliable, but talk about a PIA!

Yea, I could see tying the winch off to a twig of a branch and using it to pull the tractor around. That's not that far out of reason. I was joking with my wife last night that I was going to mount the winch on the front of the pickup. The winch is 32" wide at the frame. Lol!

If you end up needing a starter, solenoid look us up.We have them in stock.Jump the starter with a screwdriver from the hot post to the solenoid and see if it spins over, if not you have a starter problem, that by pass's the switch, clutch interlock ,ect. make sure the tractor is in neutral first.

The 8-way rims" Where do you find them? Never heard of them, My Kubota has width adjustments by moving the rims out but the rim itself is not adjustable.

I think the dealer is offering you a pretty good deal. I would take him up on the offer before he changes his mind. Be sure to either have the rear tire filled or add rear counter/wheel weights.

By the way. I like your posting style over on the "other board". I am impressed that your post has not been edited. Go Tractor Point! ;O)

Experts typically recommend spending a bit of money on a scope and avoid bargain models. You can easily be fooled by poor optics because when you look through them in the store, they have almost the same light collecting ability as say a Leupold. The problem is the cheap lenses do not have the proper shape for consistent shooting. Everything's fine while shooting at a target because you have the time to find the proper eye relief and center. But in actual shooting conditions you bring the scope up to your eye quickly and may not have a good field of view. Then if you're not exactly centered on the lenses, your shot can be off even if the crosshairs are on the target. Good optics give more consistent shooting.<br>

One of the best of the medium priced scopes is the Leupold VX-1 2-7 power (which is Leupold's least expensive). They are $179 at Gander Mtn (same as the best internet price) with no shipping . I have used a friend's quite a bit with good results and recently bought one for my own gun. I've also heard good things about Nikon.<br>

Neither is built very well just look at the undercarriage (its the same undercarriage made by ASV) you need to look at a BOBCAT they have alot more to offer you

It sounds like there is a lot of confusion over the correct technical definition of breakout force. Maybe a quick email to the Kubota, Deere or New Holland hydraulics engineering department would help clear things up?

Heres your support there big time: Glen Moray 12 yr old Single malt. Its wonderful scotch. Or if finance is tight ask your salesman to get you 40 creek canadien 3 grain select out of canada. Its the smoothest , most lovely tasting candien whisky Ive EVER enjoyed. Id spit Crown Royal reserve on the floor for this stuff. Its a sleeper in the stores but a wonderful amber color, no burn no bite, yet finishes nicely. ANd A hell of a lot cheaper than crown. Multi award winner recently. Ive got half of my fire department hooked...enjoy

Ken, Kubota has always done a great job on holding price increases to a dull roar. I've been amazed that they don't raise them more but it does make them a good everyday value.

I like the larger tractors to but the 2410 chassis still only takes a 60" deck and the two range transmission. The plus of a jump to a 72" deck and the three range transmission is worth it if room in the pocket book as well as the garage and property.

It has been a while since I have updated my pictures. I tried to highly compress them to get it down to 30 kb. oops!<br>
I too fundimentals of design in 4th year of college. After no art through high school it was a struggle but need the fine arts credit and art appreciation was full. I would work diligently on the assigments for a C or C+ and was ready to pay for the art freshmans work.<br>
My latest project is to build her an easel out of the lower half of a pine door I cut for a eave closet access door. I think it takes some talent to complete without plans considering the odd angles on the legs etc. I am sure it would be shunned by the artsies as they would rather spend a couple of hundred dollars, but it works and looks ok.

I have a 5 foot box blade on my 4310. I like to keep things even with the width of the tractor. I get into a lot of tight places and if I'm not paying attention it's easy to get hooked and tear things up.

There are many more folks here better than me to be posting, but money aside I can speak about the 4110. I have a 4110 and am looking to go up to a 3320, there might not be enough diffrence between the two to make it work your while. Check the pricing on the 20 model. ex. 3320

I find the 4110 not heavy enough for some things I want to do. More beef is alway good. But it does come at a price.

No need to swap them. There is no direction of rotation on OEM turf tires for the JD 4300 so all you do is take one off and rotate it through the plane of travel by 180 degrees, in effect you put it on "backwards". That way you dont have to have both off at the same time and can do it with a single floor jack. To use tire chains you have to have them in the "wide" position as there is insufficient clearance between the fender and the tire.

A snowblower on the Kubota is fantastic. But you do need to be careful about your shear pins. If you fill up the blower with packed snow on purpose and then try to throw in the PTO at low speed you will quickly break a shear pin. In fact just driving the blower at idle into a small amount of snow will break a shear pin, I know because I did it by just pulling the tractor out of the garage so I could put the ROPS up with blower running at idle. You should engage the blower when the blower is empty only. And I ususally engage the PTO at slow speeds and then increase the RPM after the implement is engaged, easier on MMM mower belts etc....<br>

You are going to love the snowblower, I also have the rear grader blade makes great ballast and cleans up what the blower misses. I also have a weight box that I have never used the blade has so much more value.
