I just purchased the TC30 with the loader and a Bush hog backhoe. It has been everything I expected. I would also recommend the loader, although I had the graple attachment added since I like to move brush and trees. The 0% financing was also a plus.

I just bought the JD LT190 which is a nice tractor but pricey. I recommend the Husqvarna XP series for the best deal for the money - about $2000 or $2400 depending on whether you get the 42 or 48 inch mower.

HELP, I HAVE A JD 790 W/ WOODS LOADER. IT WAS WORKING FINE WHEN I BOUGHT THE TRACTOR USED IN JUNE 05. NOW THE BUCKET TILTS BACK AND FORTH AND DROPS AS IT SHOULD, BUT IT IS VERY SLOW TO RISE AND SQUEALS LOUDLY. I ADDED SOME FLUID TO THE HYRAULIC SYSTEM BUT LOADER IS NOT LIFTING LIKE IT WAS BEFORE. I HAVE NOT SEEN ANY LEAKS AND HAVE BEEN TOLD I POSSIBLY BLEW THE SEALS ON A VALVE. WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK?

Check your electrical connections at the injector pump and your fuse box as well as grounds. If you are lucky this may be the cause. Otherwise, it sounds like the fuel shut off solenoid on the injector pump may be bad.

The mid pto shaft is very heavy and spins at over 2,000 rpm. I sure this is not the case but it sounds like you have either damaged the tractor transmission case or the mid pto housing and the hole/crack the floundering pto shaft made has cased the trans. fluid to leak out. This does not sound like it will be cheap to repair but if you are lucky and the mid pto housing is what was damaged; you may be able to get off with replacement of the mid pto gearbox. Sounds like this is going to be a dealer repair as you are not likely to have all of the tools and parts that may be required. Sorry to hear about your mishap.

Bought my 2000 JD4300 4wd hydro turf with 60 mmm 2 years ago from a dealer for 13000 with 385 hrs on the clock. You should be able to do better me thinks. 6ft box should be fine but get weights for the front otherwise get the 5ft, as the 6ft bounces around a bit with the weight.

Well I started a new job again 3 weeks ago. I do not make the money that I was making but at this point money is not relevant to my peace of mind. I have to say that I am quite content here. I am now working on cars and trucks. Not the boss, supervisor or foreman and I love it.

How tight do you make your turnbuckles on your 3pt sway links. My dealer said make as tight as you can to stop swaying. Just want to make sure this is the correct way. If so it sure seems like alot of stress. can it handle this??

I'm getting ready to adjust the valves on my Jinma 224 w/Y380 engine. Whats the easiest way to turn the engine while doing this. There's sure not alot of room around the crank pully. Also, going back from the front of the engine is the valve sequence, Intake, exhaust,intake, exhaust, intake, exhaust?<br>

I have an International 244 with 1250hrs used mainly for mowing and a little snow removal. Always garage kept until this summer. The problem is that i cannot get into gear without grinding. I checked the fluid level and the clutch petal is all in working order. I also have a ford 2n and the clutch always sticks if it is not used often. Frequently I have to back it against something. If anyone has a suggestion I would be very greatful. thanks

I just found a L3010 2001 for $9,500.00 in new condition with about 180 Hours. Including an old 5 ft. grader box. About to go with the deal. But I need a front end loader. I was wondering if this was a realy good price? Any ideas??

Well stopped at the Kubota dealer. They gave me a price of $7650 for a BX1500 with at 48" deck. That's after the $500 rebate that Kubota is running right now. Sound reasonable? That's set up and delivered to my door.

Very nice guys at the very least. They said that the promotion was running through December so need to decide then and there. They also let me drive a BX2300 around to get a feel for it.

To answer some previous questions. The logging road could pass as pretty 'civilized'. Its' not rutted or choppy. It was dozed pretty smooth and added water breaks before we seeded it. Like I mentioned before this tractor will be used mainly for mowing and hauling. I just wanted the added protection and traction that the BX line has to offer (4wd & ROPS).

From all indications it looks like the 1500 would fit the bill. It's still a lot of money for a 'mower' but you usually get what you pay for.

Is the BX1500 for me

I have 2 yanmar 3tn84 engines that were pulled from John deere tractors that were wrecked in a delivery accident. Thge engines are BRAND NEW!!! I have no use for them but I need to sell them asap. Pictures available upon request.

Beagle, I have installed some work lights on my 7800, 2 55 watt toward the front, and 1 55 watt to the rear. They are mounted to the ROPS. I did not wire them into the headlight switch to avoid running everything at once. I do not know what the factory alternator will handle. Do you? The front and rear are on seperate switches, but I do not know where may be the best place to locate them. Where did you mount yours, or did you go with the factory switch? Would it be best to get waterproof switches and cut holes somewhere in the dash? Is the dash pretty easy to get off...remove steering wheel, throttle lever and one screw? Any ideas would be much appreciated.

The larger you get the slower you will go. Get it big enough to cover the wheel tracks.

That is the same conclusion I came to. I bought the forklift, thinking of possible rear mount and even front mounting on the loader. I gave up on rear mount because I did not feel like there was much capacity left for the 3 point. I had a real fear of breaking it as the 3 point would be raised and the boom would then lift the load, possibly overloading the 3 point. I thought of robbing the carriage for a loader mount. Real forklifts are made to use every day all day. The carriage was made of solid steel, not tube and extremely heavy, heavier than the skid loader versions. I ended up fabricating my own carriage and using just the forks. You can see it in my pics. I sold the complete boom to another Amish man to make a 3 point mount. His tractor is over 80 HP, so it can handle it.
