bmeyer: you mentioned that you should hava gotten wheels with your landscape rake. having never used a LR I am curious why. AC

The top link should adjust by loosening the nut. Put a big crescent wrench on it and it will turn.

Kubota has, in the past, made the top link too long to use with a Box Blade. Several manufacturers have responded by having two or more sets of holes on the implement.

As I recall there should be about six inches of adjustment on the factory top link and it is set up so that you can't turn it out too far and have it come apart.

There is a big viscosity difference between UDT and Super UDT.

A lot of oils meet the UDT specs. Far, far fewer meet the Super UDT specs and those that do have a significantly higher viscosity than the original.

If you have a manual transmission I think you can use other products without problems. In my experience, Kubota HST's run best when fed Super UDT.

If you are going to have a generator, you might also consider a shotgun and maybe a sidearm too.

Having the only lights on in a couple of square miles during an emergency has a tendency to attract, ah..., vermin(?).

trustworthy yes. I saved about $3,000 buying from him as buying a nortrac from northern tool& equiptment the delevery was very reasonable it appears to be what i expected the only drawback wich i knew about at the time is that he orders them when you order them from him and it takes a couple of mos. for them to be built and shipped to him if you can deal with a bit of a wait you will save money and have a good tractor .

For rocks I often just use the 3 pt pallet forks and pallet. I just roll the rocks up on the pallet and then move it where I want. It does depend on how steep of terrain you have.

I have a 1989 ford 3910 and wonder how to bleed fuel pump after changing the filters. I think the pump brand is Stanadyne. Not sure where the manual pump is for bleeding or if it has one.<br>
I very mechanical , but want start something until I understand it better. Diesel is not my specialty.<br>

If you have some sort serious rear ballast weight and an FEL in place and you are operating on relatively level ground... you should be able to safely tow about 3000 pounds.

If you throw in steep or hilly terrain, a 2000 pound total load will push your tractor around, especially making downhill turns. I have jack-knifed my tractor with a full 225 gallon water tank/trailer in just that scenario.

In any case, keep it in 4wd all the time so you get some braking action from the front wheels and use a two-axle trailer if you can.

I have a Kabota B2400 w/woods 6500 backhoe. On the boom piston I have to replace the rubber bumper (now a plastic sleeve) on each end. Please guide me through changing these. Their is one bolt 1"1/8 on each end under the support legs of the backhoe? I have already lowered the support legs, disconnected the pistons in order to gain access to those bolts.<br>

Hi, I am new to this board and I was hoping for some opinions.<br>
I am looking at buying a B7500 with a Woods Backhoe, Kubota belly mower, Kubota loader and a Back blade for 14300. It is 3 years old with 254 hours and looks real clean. <br>
Is this a decent deal? It seems to be market rate here in the north east.<br>

I am shocked at the price of used trctors but I guess that is good for me if I ever want to get rid of it.<br>

does the front axle have to be removed to check the couplings, I know where they are but dont see any way to check them without dropping and pulling the gear out to get a look

Have any of y'all have anyone complain about the 3 point hitch on the 2800s being rough. Every time I raise and lower any implement it shakes the whole tractor. I am new to tractor owning but not operating and this just does not seem right. Thanks for your time.

It's a 20 horsepower hydro four wheel drive with a weight of about 1/2 the boat so caution should be used. I figure if I tow my boat with a two wheel drive golf cart and that weighs about 2500lbs you should be safe. I also tow cars and push them in with it. I'm just moving things in and out of the garage and around the yard not trying to tow it down the road at 30 mph.

Just a heads up for anyone considering ordering the battery I posted a link to above. The battery came in late yesterday and is the correct size dimensionally but for some odd reason did not have the hold down lugs on the sides of the battery as shown in the picture. I am working with the owner of Battery Stuff dot come work exchange this battery for one with the lugs. When I get it in and install it; I will post some feedback. In the mean time, I would suggest holdig off ordering this battery until they figure out what the problem is and ensure the batteries shipped have the hold down lugs.

I, too, was worried about dropping the loader on my 2210. The video looked too easy!! But I find that after a few times I can do it quickly and easily. The only problem I ran into the first time was not taking pressure off the lines before un-hooking them. As a result I had two connections that I could not get back on because of pressure build up. I wound up just loosening the fitting to bleed a bit of fluid and then everything was OK. It hasn't happened since - a rookie error I figure.<br>

I dropped my loader in the "back yard" recently on uneven ground. That was a chore to get it lined up again. Next time it will only be flat and level ground for me.<br>

Dropping the loader after running with it for so long makes my unit feel like a sports car!!<br>
