My dk 35 came with low fluid ,would not even show on the dip stick.I also think its probably a cheap fluid as well.Up grading my fluid has helped fix problems I had.

I agree with Art. Check out the Kohler opposed or V twins they are almost a drop in. I've replaced a number of blown Onans in Bolens and Ariens tractors with the 18and 20 Hp twins. The cast iron seems to hold up better than the aluminum and replacement parts are cheaper. Northern tool has quite a few different models and if you call there 1-800 number they will send you engine layout drawing so you can be sure it will fit. They may have the Onans also.

the 3pt hitch will go up and down with no load on it but put an implement on it and it will not lift. You can manually lift the implement and it will stay in position. Hydraulic pump is work because it also supplies hydraulic to the front end loader and it works like it should. What do I need to look at to fix the problem with the lift?<br>

jarndt, in theory that is true, but the reality of it is, the used units sell every bit as well as the new ones.

We buy & sell many units a year, there is a waiting list for our 'used' units and always has been.

We have begun to replace them after one full years service, at that point they have 1,500 & 2,000 hours on them. The depreciation is minimal compared to the old theory of 'running them into the ground' since we put a relatively high amount of hours on a year.

As a rule of thumb we 'plan' on replacing the hubs about every 60k. miles (100k. km) on our trucks.

The units that also snowplow go through hubs about every 50k. miles.

Since the units are sealed, with no means of service or lube and the bearings are not replaceable there is no other choice really.

But then our trucks work pretty hard too.

We are trying to find a fair market value for a 1991 L2650DT with a LA450 attachment. Condition is fair, it's been used mainly for mortuary grounds maintenance and digging. The local dealer hasn't been much help. Thanks

When we built our house I jammed 18k feet of RG-6 and Cat5 cable into it. Even then I came up one RG-6 short on the satellite dish. Fortunately I ran some empty conduit from the basement to attic to allow easy pulling in of another cable after the fact. After seeing some of the hack jobs installers do to get cable from point A to point B my advice is to run the cable yourself.

I don't know anything about the 7205, but as another data point I tow a 3500 lb. chipper around with my 32 hp hydro JD 4310 and it does fine going up some pretty steep hills. Not a lot of power to spare but it doesn't struggle.

I'm in need of front axle parts for a ford 1210, mainly everything in the middle, ring and pinion, diff case spider gears. What happened is someone gutted the front axle to install a fel, oops. Parts needed or a whole tractor with other mechanical problem, thanks.

Make the dump trailer uour very last choice. Absolutely, in no way, do you want to get one of those 1 yard trailers you take home from the local concrete plant. The aggregate settles to the bottom so fast vibrating down the road that you end up with soup on top and a mass of settled aggregate at the bottom. They are a nightmare.

If you are dumping from a mix truck, and only traveling a short distance, keep your route as short and as smooth as possible to avoid settleing the aggregate. Once it settles out, there is no reasonble way to remix it.

On the 2210 the rock-shaft will allow the 3-point to raise, lower to a position and lock at that position, and float. There is a knob that controls the rate (or speed) of drop. The 4000-ten series also has an adjustment with an incremental setting to predetermine the height at which the drop stops.
