You will need to give the serial number to any one you want to buy the loader from. The early TC21D tractors took a 7103 loader and the later ones take the current 12LA. The 7103 loaders use 10mm bolts to hold it on and the 12LA uses 16mm bolts. There is also some hyd plumbing changes.

I warned my friends in the 877th before it started that it was a bit like banging a bees nest with a large stick and expecting good results. To attack a large nest you need to be prepared, be properly protected and use proper stratagy. Winning their confidence and smoking out the problem bees. You are ignorant if you think you only convey information with words. I have seen the body language, black vs white, daily in MS and AL. I have seen even hard working coworkers of color stiffen up when the "man" comes to help.<br>
How do you normally rate a MD�s arrogance? I guess I would rate it a 10 out of 10, but then I normally stiffen up as they try to talk down to me.<br>
On the question of looting, frankly I feel it would happen anywhere in the US, with any segment of the population. Certainly the Tyco and Enron people were taking advantage of the owners, looting the store so to speak. The few managers here likely took more than all the looters in N.O.<br>

If you have a lot of material (logs, branches, brush) to move then a grapple bucket is great. If it's not so much then I'd recommend a grapple that bolts/welds to the standard bucket.

I have about 9 acres of downed trees to clear and went with the grapple bucket (from Worksaver, about $1,800) and it has been great -- for what I'm doing I would not have gone any other way.

It attaches just like any other bucket -- with pins. I'll be using mine for a few months straight before switchign back so it's not that big a deal. If I was going to switch back to the other bucket on a regular basis then I woudl go with a quick attach instead.

Iowa,

The lights are used mainly for winter snowblowing. They are easy to rotate or tilt by hand from the drivers seat. I've seen some where one faces down and the other out. This location provides a great amount of flexibility for my applications.

I think a 16 footer will do fine. The tractor weighs about 1200 if I remember right. The FEL goes about 450 and I think and the 48 inch box blade, depending on who made it, will be from 300 to about 425 pounds.

I hauled my BX22 around on a 16 foot 5000# GVW trailer and it did just fine.

The Deere/Yanmar just have idiot lights. You need to look at the shop manual for the Yanmar or Deere and find the oil pressure specifications.

It has been a long time since I ran a marine Yanmar. Marine engines use a 80 lb or 100 lb gauge. I assume it would be about 25-30 lbs at idle and 40 lbs warm at working RPM. I would think 60 lb cold start.

Hi , good news I hope it can all be worked out. This is a rare case, I can only make assumptions, but it should never have gone this far the dealer has a lot to answer to. The cheapest price is not always the best deal. For starters we spend 4 to 6hrs on pre-delivery on a new jap tractor. On a Chinese tractor we spend up to 10hrs (after assembly) change all the oils,replace doubtful fuel hoses and seals (diesels just don't like air leaks), replace the seal in the hydraulic pump, adjust, check and test the operation of everthing (thoroughly). If its a model or brand we haven't sold before we give it at least a 2hr workout and run it through all its paces if we are doubtfull we will not pass it on to a customer. When fitting a front end loader one of the most important things is to set the preasure relief valve correctly, Chinese tractors can be a bit tricky becauce of the way the system is set up. Most have a priority valve to distrubute the hyd flow /press between the power steering and the 3 point hyd, I have seen some disasters when people get this mixed up. The other thing is to make sure the loader is not to large and heavy for the machine, the mountings are just as important, if doubtfull a subframe or rails should be ran back and mounted to the rear axle. A dealer in NSW Australia selling eastwind a.k.a Dongfang, sent out a few of these disasters , when it came to warranty and after sales service he left his customers high and dry. These kinds of dealers give all tractor dealers especialy chinese tractor dealers a very bad name. It also helps to do some product testing before marketing a tractor to Iron out any bugs, its not a good idea to let a customer do this as they will be understandably very pissed off. To get some comparable pricing go to machinefinder dot com and search the listings for 950's. There are 8-10 on there now. I think those are all dealer asking prices so actual selling price is likely a bit lower.

worked on a few vw's really never had that issue be for. I will say they were the reason and only reason I had to buy
(triple square drive) 12 pt bits and sockets, I also dont like the plastic fuel line (thing) oh and the issue of having the air box together (air flow meter) before it will run right

I have a 2005 32 hp. I've got 230 plus hours on it so far, no major problems. Filters seem to be the hassle. I think it is the dealer that has dropped the ball. Where on can I order them online. Thanks.

I don't know what engine is in that machine, but my approach would be first to check for a fat, healthy spark when it's hot and not starting. If no spark you probably have a failing ignition module. Do you smell a lot of gas when it's not starting? If ignition looks good I'd rebuild the carb and make sure the float is carefully adjusted.

Done? Some things are never done. I mowed fields and trails three times and continued thinning trees, chipping slash, digging and burning stumps, trail building, and spraying blackberries and scotch broom. Maybe it will be "done" in 20 years. One day when money is more plentiful I'll get around to the retaining wall project that has been on hold for a couple of years now. Maybe after the tractor is paid off next July.

After servicing the screen on my JD2210 myself, I can see way a dealer would avoid it. It was a real P.I.T.A. to get to. There were no discernable shavings or shards, just a little gunky grit on the magnet and a little grit on the screen. Far less than I had expected. But I feel much better having checked and cleaned it anyway.

i was once told no good deed goes unpunished. Sorry for your lousy view on things. I got a great deal and thought i would let people know. I did just see an ad for deere saying they had 800 off selected tractors so maybe my deal was not that great but i guess i should keep any good fortune to myself so as not to offend any ones sensibilities. :)<br>

I'm running a 4310 with a 72" mid mount mower. It has just slightly more power than the 4210. I have no problems. Like anything, if you go through tall grass you have to slow down. Hydro is great for adjusting on the fly. But I can still mow at higher speed with the 72" deck uphill in taller grass than my old mowers.

You should be fine with a 4200 or 4210.

Ann............... I just did. I listed a link to a Technical Service Bulletin that was very clear as to what and why. If you are comfortable using a Fram filter on your equipment; more power to ya. My OEM filters cost me about $5 each. I have seen these filters cut open and there IS a BIG difference.
