i have a 1500 and mine did the same thing the fuel lines came a loose

Right, though you could say the sloped hood is nice and the ability to separate the 3PH from the MMM (which will probably be able to be retrofitted to the 2210), some will like the multi-piece plastic hood, but others will not, but one thing that is indisputable, less hydraulic flow = lower 3PH and loader lift capacity. I'm sure the 2305 is a very nice machine, but better?

i just went to an auction on labor day and they had 3 tractors, ford 3000 gas, ford 4000 diesel, and m/f 165 diesel. the ford 3000 was in pretty poor shape, needed 4 new tires and atleast one new rear wheel due to rust from fluid in tires, smoked entire time it was running, and brakes were crappy but still went for $2700. the ford 4000 was in great shape and went for $7050. the massey only had one problem, power steering didn't work and it went for $2700. people seem to love the fords and john deeres around here and don't bother much w/ anything else. i would have been bidding on the massey but i have this awful condition called marriage, she's saying wait until spring, we don't need it yet. so i guess that's what i'm doing now, watching auctions, checking prices, and finding out about different models. i'll be sure to check into the international models and thanks for the tip on the AC hydralic system

What ever you decide to do.... do it real slow.

My front blade has a spring that is so weak that it not really functional. So I pin it in place and compensate by plowing snow at less than a walking pace.

I have a jinma pull behind finish mower and belly finish mower. I like the cut of the pull behind better than the belly mower. belly mower is difficult to get level. I still would not say that either one is a bad mower. If you take your time and don't go too fast they cut nicely. blades seem to be cheap and bend/chip easily. I would recommend ordering several spare sets. I had to get a new bearing for one of the idler pulley's and had no problem getting it from a local bearing place. I would recommend making sure that the bear boxes are filled with white lithium grease before running them. May need to take them apart to ensure this. Hope this info was helpful.

The respirator/crankcase breather on the side of a JM284LE is blowing greyish smoke out of it. Smoke smells and looks kind of like exhaust. The tractor has 10 hours on it. The tractor seems to run fine for the most part. It does have a slight miss when you first start it up, but seems to straighten out pretty quick, then when you run it at full throttle, it is skipping a beat every couple seconds. Exhaust looks fine, nothing out of the normal. The tractor was full of oil with around 6 hours on it, and now at 10 hours it is about half way to the fill line. So it is eating oil. Oil pressure is good. Does not appear to be any water or anything in the OIL, the oil looks brand new, no darkening. Antifreeze is still full, and does not appear to be dropping, no bubbles or anything in the radiator. Air filter is clean, no blockages. I have used the pump to make sure that there is no air in the fuel lines, does not appear to be any. As I was checking it out and it started to warm up, I noticed a strange squeaking noise when I would idle it down, and when I would pull the fuel stop. It sounded like it was a squeaking coming from inside or around the exhaust pipe. <br>

If your garage door is a standard door, you need folding rops. The 72" "anything" will cover your wheel base. You need trailer brakes no matter which tractor you buy (33 or 40) With your 1/2 ton. In My Opinion, dont even drive down the road without them. Especially if my kids are on that road! I just hauled my tc40. It took about 3 min. but after taking great pains to get the tounge wt right I pulled it and hardly knew it was there. Very impressed with the trailer and the brakes on that trailer. I had to turn the electric numbers up to 4 but after that she stopped OK. Just OK! Even with the brakes, if a deer was to run out infront of me, I was going to be introuble.
I wouldnt think twice about buying local (within your state atleast). Period! If your worried about the money you can always go gear tranny? (Of course I have nothing to compare it to and all others say differently) but I have absolutely no problems with a gear trany. Especially if your mowing a large flat area,

Thanks to everyone who replied. I got the tractor started. The blockage was between the fuel filter and the injector pump.
Managed to get the tractor headed uphill, turned around, and back on safe ground. Reattached the brush hogger and came down off the hill, never to return!

Just thinking, but most of what you should be doing should be or easily done by a hydro 70 model which could handle a light loader as well as a great mowing tractor for what ever size mower even to the 12 foot width.

Sorry but you won't get away that easy unless I was napping in class again! You could convert your attachments to CAT1 and then use a bushing for conversion that is available at most farm equipment stores. I would hope none of what you have is CAT1-2 which would be a wider hitch point of 32 vs the 28.

I'm using a 6 foot LR behind my 2210. Today I used it to clear debris from an area I just tilled. Then I dragged the entire area and I was pleased with the result. However, I don't know when I should be setting the rake at an angle? When is does that feature become useful? Also, I did not buy the guide wheels - would they be an advantage to me? Any advice for a newbie?

Don't all those points you just mentioned just have quick clip pins holding those arms on? I still prefer the Kubota as I think pricing is very comparable.

There are pumps that require lubrication from diesel fuel to keep them working well. Some pumps have other ways of lubrication and require a seperate storage system which also requires maintanance or might work off the engine oil system. The repective lives of the different types of pumps vary as to the use of them. There are very different costs of repair to them but the cheapest thing is still to buy better quality fuel to begin with and right for the season and not to have a problem.

We use a broom, static or revolving type, for removing stones and thatch from turf. It works very well, and if used properly is actually good for the turf.

A static brush is not very expensive and will do all sorts of other things. They are available for either FEL, forks, or 3pth mounting.

You can do a big area in real short order that way.

i'm wanting an older tractor 60s-70s model. i've been looking at the 135, 150, and 165 models. anyone have any input, good/bad/otherwise. it's going to be used for mowing 50 acres, blading drive, pulling disc for food plot, and any other chores i find it handy for. are there any other models/manufactures i should be looking at?

I see you have a Pronovost P-680. That machine caught my eye as well. Seems like a good fit for my JD 3320. What sort of price would I be looking at on that one, with hydraulic chute?
