Hi Ya'll, I dont post much these days but I try to get on here to read when I can but you guys have always solved my problems in the past so I post here today with confidence. So my problem is this: I use a bodozer grapple on my quick detach loader of my L3130, When I bought the tractor new the dealer told me the only way to power the hydraulics to the grapple was to install a rear remote & run hydraulic lines up to the loader which I did (I had them do). I have been using the grapple on & off for over a year now with no problems. Well, lately when I am grabbing something that has no give like a rock, the backhoe moves to the right & I can hear that valve sound, that pressure is telling it to move. Eventaully the backhoe hits the stabilizer leg on the right side & when it hits obviously it cant move anymore & sometimes the niose stops & sometimes it doesn't. Now the niose is then same normal niose that is would make if I were trying to operate the backhoe. Well, not only is it annoying but now because it has done this so many times now, I just reach my hand onto the backhoe controls & bring the hoe back to the center position & I usually have to force it at first but now the hoe will barley move to the left at all! It operates normal in all other directions execept to the left. Do you think the valve is broken in the backhoe control & why is the grapple reacting with the backhoe & how can I stop that from happening? Thanks in advance for your help & wisedom!

You might see the larger size machines set up like that too in pictures! They do have strong enough hydraulics to work the package of tractor loader and backhoe the same way the larger commercial machines can be run. Just a general rule normally they are run closer to the ground as a matter of speed of set up and for the extra reach being closer to the ground.

NO, THE NOISE IS OFF AND ON, LETS SAY EVERY 3 SECONDS, AND IS THERE REGARDLESS IF I'M USING THE LOADER, BACKHOE OR JUST LETTING IT IDLE. IT DOES GET LOUDER IF I RAISE THE RPMS. WHEN I PLACE MY HAND ON THE PIPING ON THE LEFT SIDE ABOVE THE FILTER, YOU CAN FEEL THE NOISE AT THE SAME TIME YOU HEAR IT. IT SOUNDS LIKE AIR IN THE SYSTEM??? AND YES, IT IS A HYDRO TC45.BOTH THE LOADER AND BACKHOE SEEM TO RUN VERY SMOOTH??????

I've had a 2210 for just over a year on my five acres. While I do not use it to mow (not enough grass - yet) I do have the loader, box blade, rake, snowblower, and tiller. It has performed flawlessly for me. It is small enough to get around on my wooded lot and I've moved over 70 yards of topsoil fill with it in the last 2 months without a problem. It's fun to drive yet powerful. I've been pleased.

OK here is what Kubota has said the this question. First the question to Kubota, then thier first response.<br>

The B7800 does have the lift capacity to lift and hold 750 lbs. at the 3-point hitch with the cylinder bleeding down. How long of a period are you talking about, is it during transport or indefinite?<br>

Flailmowers: I need input from experienced users. I have a KK 5' rotary cutter on a NH TC33D. I use it commercially to cut vacant lots for developers. The ground is clay---anything from bone dry to mud (being under 6" of standing water where cattails and reeds grow). The ground is rutted out as much as 12" deep and as wide from cement trucks sinking in the soft clay when it's wet. Then there's the building debris everywhere--cement truck chute wash-outs, bricks, wood. My rotary cutter has cracks everywhere from the abuse. Not to mention when it does hit something it goes flying 50 feet or more, and in a new sub that's not good for people or homes. (Maybe that's why the "other guy" wouldn't come back a second time)

So my question are: Should I get a flail mower? And will it hold up to abuse from hitting things? And what is a reasonable price fo a good, used one?

Ended up using the brush hog and am glad I did. The grass was much thicker up close than I thought. Now that it's cut, I am going to roll it (just because a big roller is there!) and will start finish mowing it every two weeks or so through the fall to help keep the weeds down.

I am looking for a replacement for my exhaust elbow for an L210. it cracked into many pieces and I cannot order one from kubota. Does anyone know if another model's elbow will work?

I hope things get better to. He is growing rapidly and the shop has never been run right. There is no set system so to say. Not to mention how many people think "THEY" are the boss. I am not going to say this ship is sunk just yet. I know it is going to take time to get things running they way a shop should run, after all that is part of what I was hired to do. I am just very impatient.

I am just weary of hearing "fix it now But haven forbid don't spend any money doing it".

Ours just started this nonsense. We have 150hrs on the machine.

From the first day we got it, this machine would grind gears loudly when trying to shift into High range... even while the machine was sitting perfectly still, service brake applied and of course, moving from the neutral position. This should be no problem for a hydrostatic transmission where the machine stays in one gear any time the vehicle is in motion.

I was leary of any $10,000 machine that protests to being put into gear when at a stand-still. Now, its stuck in Reverse. We've tried several attempts at getting it out, and we've had no success as yet.

I'll try to remember to let you know how it works out.

I just looked at pic #7 and I am not quite sure if you are
serious or not. That tractor is just not heavy enough to
do much with a box blade that large. Again, I am not sure
if this is a joke between you and Art or what, but I do
know unless you are working in 'feathers' - that setup
isnt going to do alot(unless you want to work one inch
at a time).

An approach I use is to mount a heavy weight on an inexpensive 3pt bar. I have a very heavy cast front tractor weight from an old Ford 1710 I used to own. I bolted it to a cheap straight bar with 3pt pins on each end (you can find these bars at any tractor supply). It works well and still fits in my garage.

I'm sure the BX23 will do 90% of what you need. And it is probably better for mowing. The 10% it can't do may be frustrating - not being able to move a couple of large boulders, a little more time digging through shale, etc. But how much money are you willing to spend for the last 10% of work?

I have a 32HP tractor on 2 acres and you can't believe the boulders I am digging up under my stone walls. I am happy to have it but it probably cost me an extra $8K? for my setup. Also as Art says, in this dry weather I notice that my tractor is leaving brown tracks where ever I drive.

Weiss Equipment has a used Blue TC25D with Woods loader, turf tires, 180 hrs and folding ROPS. Dan List is the salesman. Offer him less than asking price, it has been setting around a while.
