The 4115 is in the same weight/power/wheelbase class as the the Kubota B2710 and the B2910.

The kubota's have a nice three speed HST but no quick-tach bucket.

The 4115's two speed HST works fine as long as you don't try to fill the entire wheel well with rubber and it has a very handy bucket system that can convert to a fork lift in a minute or less.

Whatever replaces the 4110-4115 will be interesting to see. If it is totally made in Japan I would have a tendency to trust it. If it is assembled in the USA I would wait a couple of years to buy.

The current crop of Japanese Deere's are among the most reliable small tractors on the planet.

Figured it out!!! Was a plugged muffler if you can beleive that. The old banana in the tail pipe syndrome. Runs great now.

I don't know your market but 12,500 for a low I think would work. For the high, well, you can always come down.

The three pounds would help with your problem but you should let it out again when you aren't hauling so much or if the loader is deconnected.

I agree in part what you are saying Art White. However, it is a case of customer service. If you don't know the answer be willing to ask someone who does know, look up the answer or contact the manufacturer in order to respond to the customer.

Me thinks the most important part of a auger is the point. It centers the auger and starts the bore. If the point is not working good the rest of the hole is going where it wants if you can even start one.

I have rebuilt mine several times and think longer and fluted is better.

We're planning to order a Toyota Highlander on Monday. We drove everything and my wife liked that the best and she will drive it most. With disciplined option selection we can get it for about $2k more than the Jeep+incentives. Neither of us really cared for the 4Runner - we both preferred the driving characteristics of the Highlander. The Jeep reliability is an unknown and the nearest Honda dealer is too far away for comfort.

I just thought I'd put up a follow up to my return to school / job searching saga.

I've just finished my first full week as a brand new Manufacturing Engineer. After 2 months of full-time job-searching, I've found a great company to continue my career with, hopefully for many years to come. My posting may become thinner now due to the lack of leisure time computer use. (This might be a welcome thing for some of you, tired of my ramblings!)

The downfall is that my commute is currently 1:15 each way. I guess the purchase of a closer homestead is now a "front-burner" project, for better or worse. Gonna have to make it a 40 (or 80!) acre parcel this time! Neighbors are getting too close on the 1 acre plots 'round here.

I have been with this company for a couple of years and it is what I know as far as routine. This change is going to be very trying for me. It is hard for me to imagine getting up in the morning and having to actually drive past this place to get to my new job. I have this feeling that I will absent mindingly turn into the parking lot.

I know HardiPlank makes 4X8 sheets for exterior use, does anyone know if they make something to be used as an underlayment? It would seem to be bulletproof with the possible exception of the weight factor.

I checked out the tufftop web site. How long has this tractor canopy been around? Does it tend to deteriorate after it has been in the sun a lot?

I agree with murf, if it will mount up OK. No matter what your setup right side up, you will catch something and drag seed leaving a bare spot, probably lots of them.
