Thanks, I must of not been very clear. I was talking about driving forward with the tines/rake reverses. So it would be like a radius or rounded edges pushing down on the soil? Kinda just riding on top, to "lightly" incorporate the soil and seed as so that when I cultipack I can get good seed to soil contact with the seed just under the surface.
On anouther note though, I never thought about what you were talking about and I can see where it ma be handy in some instances. Thanks for that bit of information!!!

If the injectors in the Hinomoto are anything like those in my Yanmar, it's pretty straightforward. Spring, check ball, shims. But what might be more challenging than working on the injector, is actually getting it OUT of the head. If you can do that, perhaps a little solvent and compressed air is all you need.<br>

I've got a TC33D with Supersteer and love it. Anything smaller would be a waste of good money in my opinion. And as far as a 5' brush hog behind a 24hp CUT I can't imagine it. As it is, I need two 70 lb. suitcase weights (and the factory grille guard from a TC35 about 50lb.) on the front to keep my front end down when I lift my 3pt. 5' brushog--if I have been cutting muddy areas and the mower has mud loaded up on it thrown up from the tires or the rear caster wheel has loaded with mud, the front tires barely touch the ground --a tow-behind brushhog might be a different story (it's like a trailer). As far as physical size goes, bigger is always better especially when brush hogging over rough terrain---I spent three days brushhogging a new subdivision development (about 30 acres worth of vacant lots) and I am beat to death driving across tire ruts, over rocks and uneven ground. In some places I could have walked quicker than I could travel on the CUT! And my tires are fairly tall---imagine what tires less than half the size would offer ride-wise. <br>

To give you an idea of the sort of power my CUT has, I regularly cut down and chip-in-place 3"-4" caliper trees in a matter of minutes. <br>

And the 60" tiller on the 24? errrr....? I'm sure there are guys who do it all the time, but imagine a fairly heavy tiller (500lb.) loaded up with wet soil and then try to lift it. You'd be doing wheelies out of the garden! But I could be wrong... <br>

I read your bio info and it says a 60" box scraper---buy the front weights! Again even with weights and a full box scraper I have done wheel stands with it! A fully loaded box weighs in excess of 500lb. for the box and about 1000-1500 for the dirt itself (I think??? the 33D is rated for 1600lb. lift).

Even with out the manure or the new top soil if you disturb the soil enough to let weed seeds see enough light to germinate they will. If possible spread what ever you are planning to spread and cultivate how ever you planned to. Level to your finished grade and then wait. About 2 weeks should do just fine before you spray one last time. This way here when you do finally seed you will disturb as little top soil "thus exposing as few new weed seeds" as possible. Pack and pray for water/precip.

I guess it would also depend on what a person is looking for in a Vette. Yes it's true that only a few were made in 53, but the real high dollar ones a like the 67 435 horse 427 models with rare paint combos. These often go way over $100,000.
I am personally saving for a 65/67 model convertible, with side exhaust. I am not looking for a trailer queen but just a good driver.

Your choice, but I suggest ignoring the fluids indicated in the manual. It's a direct translation from the Chinese, making recommendations that are not entirely appropriate for U.S. use. I recommend 15W40 in the engine, non-foaming 80W90 in the trans/rear diff/front diff, AW32 in the hydraulics, ISO100 compressor oil in the injection pump, and 50/50 low silicate anti-freeze in the cooling system. Some folks use an anti-cavitation additive too.

Hopefully someone will answer that has taken theirs off. I haven't done it yet. On the TC30 there is a piece that wraps around the front grill area. That is the piece that sits on the ground. No tools are involve to remove the loader. There are two quick release pins, one on each side. Use the hydraulics to raise the loader off of the rear mounts while slowly backing away from the loader. Shut the tractor off and disconnet the hydraulics. Dealer made it seem easy but I haven't had the need to to it.

As for the mower width you're going to need at least a 5' deck. On mine with the R-4's, a 5' box blade just covers the rear tracks. I don't finish mow with mine but I would probably look at the 6' model.

The blades on a rotary cutter are "hinged" at the hub unlike the continuous fixed blade on your typical lawnmower. This allows the blades to move out of the way if they hit something large. However, this feature has its limits and is really only designed to protect the driveline on the tractor.

If the tractor still won't start, you then need bleed air from the top of the injector pump. Usually you loosen or remove a bolt from bleed port and crank the engine until fuel comes out. It may start while you're doing this. The fuel is under high pressure and is dangerous; it can penetrate skin. If the tractor starts and runs, you're done.

Is the nut a stamped sheet metal piece? If yes, you may have to cut/grind or pry it off. If it has this type of nut most likely it has a retaining ring or clip set in a groove under the nut. The nut is used to draw tight the gland against the ring/clip so that it doesn't move. The way to remove the ring is to extend the rod several inches, disconnect the hydraulic lines to relieve any pressure, then use a brass hammer to tap the gland back into the cylinder. The clip should be just under where the nut was (assuming you removed the nut and that the nut is covering the clip. The clip might be a solid, round wire, or even a flat, spirally wound spring clip which will need some finessing to remove. Once the clip is removed pull the rod out. The piston will serve as an internal hammer to tap out the gland.

I guess the real clarity needs to be put in terms of built, manufactured, and assembled. Built is ambigious. The 55 series was BETTER because it was manufactured in Japan, not "just as good". Not to blame the tech guy, he is trying to be a team player and is just going on what he was told. JD really does not want to play up the Japan part. It is the same reason the Prism was so much better than other GM products, it was just a Toyota Corolla rebadged, although if you follow the auto auctions, that rebadge costs in its name alone compared to the Toyota.

I have a thumb on my mid-size backhoe. BTW you don't need a hydraulic hookup for a stiff or mechanical thumb which swings out of the way or can be removed when not in use---use the digging bucket as the "finger". Keep in mind that any extra weight on the hoe from a thumb effectively reduces the lifting capacity by the weight of the thumb and attaching hardware. There is a guy from Canada on e-bay that sells a weld-it-yourself kit for an 18" thumb which I have (it's a little short so it actually goes right in the bucket instead of meeting the bucket cutting edge) it cost about $235 inc. shipping. <br>

Also, like my 25-year-old backhoe, unless the hoe was designed and built to accept a thumb be careful not to overload or stress the attachment point on the hoe stick itself---I squeezed and then started to cave in the hoe stick about a foot away from the bucket pivot using the supplied pivot point in the kit. DOH! And my hoe's box section at that point is about 6" x 8" with 1/4" wall. I had to reinforce or wrap three sides of the hoe with 3/8" plate 38" long--and it still wants to bend the hoe stick until the relief valve kicks in.

You better grab that deal and run like you stole it! That is a VERY good price for that package. The MX-5 alone is worth just under $2,000. Sometimes you can find them for around $1,650 but not often. The FEL is right around $3,000. The tractor is another $13,000 to $15,000.
