I can't help you with the caps, but personally, I have no tolerance for batteries with caps and filling and leaking and mess. See if you can find a maintenance free sealed battery that fits and leave the capped varieties for those gluttons for punishment. After much searching, I finally found a sealed battery for my JD4300 that fits perfectly, it is a deep cycle but only cost $30. I just have to figure out new mounts since the new battery doesn't have the hold down lugs on the side.

I looked quite a bit at b20s and the newer version, b21. I may not remember correctly, but I believe the b20 only had a 3 digit hour meter and many have fliped so the actual hours could be 1640 or 2640 etc. 10k seems overly fair for a true 640 hour machine and you should be able to tell. A 640 hour machine should have only a little wear on anything. I saw a lot of b20s that looked like much more because of the hour meter issue.

No mega cab, that is for 06s and I don't think they will be here for a few more months, dealer said october or so. I really don't need that much room yet and with a long bed if they even offer it with that would be really huge. I went with the automatic since it was the newer 48re '4' speed, '8'00 pounds of torque, 'R'ear wheel drive, 'E'lectric control. I too enjoy the manuals but around here, the folks are overpopulating and traffic gets terrible if we head 45 minutes in any direction. That much stop and go lets me sympathize with road ragers and a clutch makes it worse. The auto also lets me squeeze out the a holes that want to jam their car in the single car length between you and the next car better. I did test drive one of the 610s last week and while I just didn't feel right letting is completely loose while the engine is so un broken in, I let it rip a little. Very impressed. The HP of this diesel is 75 more than both of my trucks combined. Toyota 125HP gas, Mitsubishi Fuso 125HP diesel. I think my 89 cummins was only 185HP. The only trucks slower than mine are unimogs. Thats about to end! I pick it up tommorow.

I just bought a 7800 this past spring. The difference in price between it and the B3030 was $2,000. The difference is in the creature comforts. The engine drive train, etc. are all the same.

I have the LG 25 SS, 25 gallon model. I'm not positive what the differences are, but as I remember I got the SS model because you can use Roundup in it. You really need a special nickel plated pump for Roundup use or it will eventually eat up a regular pump. Again, I'm not sure of the different designations, but I do know I got one that I could use Roundup in it.

I'm sure a 15 gallon sprayer would be sufficient for spraying a house for the reasons you need. I would guess a 15 gallon sprayer would spray about 2500 square feet of ground area judging how much area I can get out of my 25 gal. sprayer, which I would think would be more than enough to spray the eaves, etc. of a house.

Hello gurus, I have a 4010 LP tractor and it has been a work horse for me. Recently to start the tractor I have had to spin the coil head on top of the propane solenoid until I heard the solenoid click and I knew gas was flowing. A couple of days ago I could not get the solenoid to click but I was geting 12 V to it. So I replaced the coil on top of the solenoid ($69.00) thinking that was the problem but alas I have the same issue. Any suggestions on where to look next? I would like to take the entire solenoid off but I just filled the propane tank and I would loose all that propane if I unscrew the fuel lines. TIA

So I feel kind of stupid...I think what happened is that when I dis-engaged the rear PTO I pushed the lever a little too far forward and kicked on the mid PTO. I went out to the tractor and engaged the rear PTO then looked underneath and saw the mid PTO was not engaged.

We've had really good luck with Titon trailer tires. <br>

The tire shop we get them from gives us a great price on them and say none of their customers have had any problems with them. They say they come from somewhere in Asia and thus have higher than normal UV & weather protection. I don't know about that, ours usually get worn down or torn up long before they can rot.<br>

The trailer axles have all come from the factory (we build our own trailers) with Goodyear Marathons on the rims. Unlike Randy we haven't had any bad experiences with them, but then as I said already, no tire sticks around long enough to rot.<br>

For vehicle tires we've been really happy with Coopers, I even have them on my dually and the missus' Rover, quiet, good traction, decent tread life. Well, the ones on the BACK of the dually don't last long but I don't think any tire would. Hehehehe.<br>

I emailed my friend to confirm I had it straight and if there was any change in the situation, here is an exerpt from his reply.

"Here is the official word, quoted directly from the owners manuals for some of the different products we sell.

The 2 strokes seem more susceptible to damage from the use of various oxygenators, but the 4 strokes are also vulnerable in many ways. As I mentioned before, almost every manufacturer has now told us to very carefully inspect and document any serious motor failures or problems BEFORE we do any repairs or even tell the client we will do the job under warranty.

Bombardier - CAUTION: The use of a fuel other than regular unleaded fuel can result in craft performance deterioration and damage to fuel system and engine components. Never experiment with other fuels or fuel ratios. Never use fuel containing alcohol, methanol or similar products including naptha.

Mercury Marine - Alcohol in Gasoline. We do not recommend the use of gasoline
which contains alcohol because of the possible adverse effect the alcohol may have on the fuel system. In general, Gasoline containing alcohol may cause the
following problems to your outboard and fuel system:
� Corrosion of metal parts.
� Deterioration of elastomers and plastic parts.
� Wear and damage of internal engine parts.
� Starting and operating difficulties.
� Vapor lock or fuel starvation.
Some of these adverse effects are due to the tendency of gasoline containing alcohol to absorb moisture from the air, resulting in a phase of water and alcohol which separates from the gasoline in the fuel tank. The adverse effects of alcohol are more severe with methanol and are worse with increasing content of alcohol

Nissan Marine - Note:
(1) Gasoline containing alcohol, methanol (methyl), or ethanol (ethyl), may cause:
� Wear and damage to bearings, cams, piston(s), piston rings.
� Corrosion of metal parts.
� Deterioration of rubber and plastic parts.
� Starting, idling, and other engine performance problems.
(2) Do not use gasoline that contains more than 10% ethanol or more than 5% methanol.
(3) Damage resulting from the use of gasolines that contain alcohol are not covered under the limited warranty

OMC - OMC products have been designed to operate using the above fuel: however, be aware of the following:
� The boat�s fuel system may have different requirements regarding the use of alcohol fuels. Refer to the boat�s owner manual.
� Alcohol attracts and holds moisture that can cause corrosion of metallic parts in the fuel system.
� Alcohol blended fuel can cause engine performance problems.
� All parts in the fuel system should be inspected frequently and replaced if signs
of deterioration or leakage are found. Inspect at least annually.

Suzuki � Suzuki highly recommends that you use alcohol-free unleaded gasoline whenever possible, with a minimum pump octane rating of 87 ((R+M)/2 method). In some areas, the only fuels that are available are oxygenated fuels. Oxygenated fuels which meet the minimum octane rating requirement and the requirements described below may be used in your outboard motor without jeopardizing the New Outboard Motor Limited Warranty.

Basically, the only two manufacturers that say it�s OK to use Gasahol are Honda & Yamaha, but they both qualify that by saying the fuel must contain cosolvents and corrosion inhibitors to protect the fuel system. To date we have been unable to find a gas company who add these products to their fuels since automobiles do not require them, just small engines."

With the cost of small engines, and the products they go in today, I don't think I'll risk it.

My TZ24DA is rated 700lb lift capacity and I believe it will handle more. Recently I moved 20' sections of 8" ductile iron pipe that weigh about 640lbs. The lift handled the weight with no effort, but the front end was getting light.

With a couple hunderd pounds of suitcase weights, I feel this lift would handle more. I bet the published lift capacity has at least a 1.5 safety margin.

I just got a L2950 with a FEL at a auction and it had no manuals.tractorsmart.com has a free parts book you can download for your L2402DT it's also a good place to get kubota parts .I got my operator's manual around 20 buck and a shop manual for $100.00 at a kubota dealer. hope you have alot of fun with your kubota.

To cut down on filter changing, using a MR funnel I went to one a quarter changing to about once every 18 month's. Amazing what crap got in the fuel containers from the service stations.

Mack it seems your uses are very similar to mine. I've owned a TC33D for three years now and it has performed wonderfully. I could not be happier I think anything smaller and you will be disappointed.
