Anyone have a miralcle way of fixing a falling headliner on a 93 saturn? I am (or have ) giving up!!! The kids car has a sunroof and we all know what happenes when the headliner starts shrinking! Any help would be appreciated

Thanks Murf for your help yesterday. Tried your suggestions, but the problem doesn't seem that straightforward - to me. With the clutch pedal depressed (disengaged) and press the hydro pedal slightly, the tractor will creep. If I depress the clutch and fully depress the hydro pedal, the tractor does NOT move, and the slight rotation at the PTO shaft will stop, allowing me to engage the pto without grinding. The load of the fully depressed hydro is enough to break the clutch hold. It would seem that if the clutch was frozen, depressing the hydro pedal fully would have the tractor moving. It feels like there is some slight engagement of the clutch with the pedal depressed, enough for slight tractor creep and pto rotation. I have taken all the free play I can out of the clutch pedal, as it is set now, when the pedal is fully depressed, the control rod touches the engine block, even shows signs of rubbing against it.<br>

Anyone had this problem before. As I said yesterday, the tractor was used all winter for snow plowing. It didn't sit for more than two weeks without being used. I never noticed the problem until I rigged up the RFM last week to mow lawn and had trouble engaing the PTO. Murf, is this different than what you understood from my last post? This has me baffled. Looking for any ideas before I crack the tractor in half to have a peek at the pressure plate. I have too much worked lined up for this to shut me down now.<br>

Bought a 2310, love it. Bought several implements at the same time, not MF but whatever the dealer recommended. At the time he asserted that the implements would fit the tractor.<br>

Problem is the auger, a Bush Hog PHD2101. This thing is a brute. I am unable to get all three connections to the 3 point hitch connected at the same time without having the auger head over a foot off the ground. There just isn't enough distance between the tractor's upper hitch point and the lower arms to accomodate the spacing of the connection points on the auger.<br>

Anyone have any experience with this? Are there other augers that will fit better? Is there a way (and is it safe) to lower the lowest point the 3PH arms will go?<br>

My dealer said he would check with Bush Hog and Massey, but claimed that all augers have same connection point spacings.<br>

Any help or advice will be GREATLY appreciated.<br>

As long as the 14mm diameters fit through the OE holes, I don't see where it will make much difference other than maybe having to use two different sized wrenches on that wheel<br>

You're asking me to second guess a problem that I am only able to evaluate from what's thus been written. Can't be done, sorry. But if you can afford some downtime, just pull the whole assembly and let your nephew examine it on the bench.<br>

As previously stated, the primer pump/fuel pump/injection pump comprise the common assembly. Gravity feeds the fuel pump, bleeding is performed as required by the hand (primer) pump. The fuel pump then delivers via the flexible lines to the injection pump. The injection pump delivers pressurized fuel up the hardlines to the individual fuel injectors. The delivery pressure is timed to trip fuel release springs in the injectors - releasing the atomized diesel fuel into each pre-combustion chamber in firing order.<br>

1993 f-150 5.0 gas,dual tanks,replaced rear tank and rear pump(pump is new and was tested for flow /presure prior to installing),new fuel filter,pump comes up to presure and shuts off at key turn (on),runs at diagnostic plug bypass.fuel gage reads "empty" on a good float and a full tank of gas,vehical will run for a few seconds and quits.<br>

Could you possibly have too small of a battery? Maybe you don't have enough cranking amps to spin it fast enough. The tip to this is when you jump it using your car battery it will start.<br>

Another problem could be that the ignition key could be starting the tractor by turning the starter motor but first must go through several electrical interlocks(pto must be off to start, etc). The electrical interlocks and wiring may cause a voltage drop meaning that you are not getting 12 volts to the starter. If you are only getting 9-10 volts, the starter will not spin fast enough or even engage. My tractor did this until I got a tip from another guy on this forum that suggested adding a solenoid to the ignition system to make sure 12 volts goes directly to the starter. <br>

Another cause could be an improper ground or loose connection somewhere. Make sure your battery cable connections are clean and tight. Do you have a volt meter where you can check voltages?

I own a very small Yanmar tractor. Mine is the size of a large garden tractor. To say the least, I'm very impressed with this tractor. Often when you get to the smaller machines the mfr's will start to cheapen the machines to keep them under a price point. Not this little fella. This a real tractor, just in a smaller scale. This is not a lawn tractor or a garden tractor. This machine is built to work every day for 30 years. that said, it does have some draw backs. Parts are hard to come by. Service is impossible-you must be able to wrench for yourself. The ability to resell the tractor is also limited as it's not a known brand. But it's for those three reasons that the purchase price of these tractors is so depressed. My biggest advice to you is to check over any tractor that you are looking at very closely. Note anything that might be wrong and look into weither or not you can get parts for it. There are some parts that are unobtainable.

AV8R...The tranny would slip really bad, they downloaded a fix the first time that didn't work.. then they read a service bulletin which said there may be chips in the tranny filter, so they cleaned it and so far ,so good. JohnJ

I have a 7275 which is the hydro version. I had the same problem with the starting issue. Larry Lutz helped me out with a wiring diagram. Love the tractor. Mine is either a '94 or '95 model year.<br>

Be carefull about the loader mounting bolts loosening at the frame where it mounts to the motor. These loosen regularly. Some have had trouble with lifting too much and actually breaking the tractor at some motor mount flanges. Cadet made an up-grade that many don't know about which strengthens the frame work. I've just found out about it. Cadet sells this for roughly $70.00. The 417 loader was made by Woods and offers this upgrade for about $40.00. I've just inquired about this yesterday with my Cadet dealer and they are getting this on order for me. Hopefully I haven't caused any damage yet. The Cub-Cadet stiffener kit part number is WM51916, your local can cross it over to Woods.<br>

My tractor has been pretty much bullet proof over the years. The fuel lines may rub through and leak which is the only other problem I've had. It is really a good tractor!

You didnt read the entire thread - it was a pattern with the dog chasing the cat until it finally caught it - its really about time people take full responsibility for their pets and hell lets throw the kids into it as well..:) No more excuses, punishment fits the crime. I bet he wished he did something about his uncontrollable dog now? A pet is a pet, and a uncontrollable pet is a liability - a direct one to the owner. Thats the point and the message of the story and sentence given out. I'm sorry you missed it, most folks understand however and accept the consequences..

It sure does Murf, but I didn't think I ever parked it long enough for a problem. The longest it was parked is probably 2 weeks. I'll start banging it around and see if I can get it freed up. Thanks for the help.
