Anyone have any experience with tandem trailers from the Tractor Supply Company (TSC)? They look good in the literature and I saw some single axle ones yesterday in Tomah, WI plus three bigger "Heavy Duty ones". They seem to be well built. <br>

I just purchased a Woods GTC 52 inch tiller. It works great on my JD 2210.<br>

I wanted to check the oil level last night and could not find in the manual how mich oil should be in the "chain" box. I opened the top vent cap and see oil maybe 2/3 down the case. THe lower plug beld oil as soon at it was loosened. Is there a preferred level?<br>

The manual says there should be oil of course but does not seem to indicate how much.<br>

ALSO - on top of the transfer case on the tiller is another plug/vent. Do I need to oil that or does it get its oil from the chain case?<br>

I really enjoy my new BH 75 hoe on my L 3400 HST. Does anybody make pads for the stabilizers? The metal is kinda rough on new areas that I will be using the unit on.

I have a problem with my T1400H slowing down when going forward uphill or making sharp turns. I haven't checked it in reverse yet. I drained the transaxle oil (looked black with fine, metallic filings in it) & replenished with UDT. The hydro level is full. Could a slipping belt cause this? If not, how should I proceed to correct this?<br>

Well the final bill came in for the transmission at 6950.00, the valve body was bad and the transmission had stripped gears, I did find out that the cluch arm (something like that) was a weak point in these models (the glide shift) and Kubota extended the warrenty for 5years but never told anyone that it was a weak part so now that it is out of warrenty tough luck, well tough luck Kubota I just bought a JD 110 LC and it puts the Kubota to shame.

I went up to an 84 gal. pressure tank with my new system I just put in. My 3 lady's in the house and a 17 yr old boy (who I truely think is worse than my lady's). I had found that as my kids got older they tend to take hygene to an absurd height.! I did this to keep my pump from kicking in so often. Maybe I did not notice it before or its possible the bladder was leaking in the old one. It does not matter though, I like the fact that the kids can be in the shower and you can flush a toilet and still not hear that pump kick in every min. or two. BTW I also supply the pressure to my new neighbors house which is hooked up to my well and pressure tank so this was also a consideration when I wanted to increase tank size. I had found that the price difference was very small. I think it was like less than $100 bucks more to go larger (from my 20 gallon to the 84. Just my way of thinking, if you have the space why not go a bit larger?
I do agree with Ann though that the 20 gallon tank will probably do you fine. I believe that there is a chart on the box of these tanks that will tell you what you should get if you have "X" amount of spickets.

My second house up north has a well that produces 6 gallons of water a minute Low flow and only 46 foot deep with a static water level at 39 foot. I have had no problems with it yet.

I would say the cold weather and the engine. I had a shibaru?? in a NH and it was always a lot crankier than any Kubota or Yanmar I have had. I also alway had to give it 3/4 throttle to fire it. It was as nice a running engine as any I have had, smooth, quiet and smoke free after starting. My yanmars and Kubota are like turning on a lightswitch, there is no cranking, just on and with no throttle. Without preheat, they may crank for a second or 2, the NH would not even try to start without preheat. Once the Yanmar didn't fire right away, it was just under 32 and frost had set in on the solenoid shaft just right to prevent it opening the injection pump. A push of the finger and it has not happened again in 4 years. I would not worry just yet.

The part numbers I bought are as follows, but they were for my 4300, I don't know if they are universal, maybe.

Pin at bottom, W47211 $4.95 each.
these prices seemed reasonable to me compared to making my own, they were a bargain.

Congrats! I'm not entirely sure but you may the first here with a 3520. Are you following the ballast recommendations in the manual? How do you have the machine ballasted?

I have a 6 foot blade for my Kubota 7100. I was using a 7 foot blade...big yes I know but it did the job pushing snow and sometimes a little landscaping. It was a little big but it worked. Is there a "proper" or recommended back blade size for my model tractor?

I don't own a complete Yanmar tractor:) but the Engine in my John Deere 4700 is made buy Yanmar of Japan and IMHO is the best small diesel engine in the market place. My previous tractor (JD 755) was made by Yanmar for JD and was a very good small compact tractor. Yanmar is a good brand and If the tractor has not been abused it will be a good tractor.

I just purchased a used LK3054 with and original Kioti Floating FEL and frame attached Backhoe. Also included is a new 72 inch Del Morino finish mower. The tractor has less than 450 hours on it. I paid $13.5K for the package. It's been kept inside it's entire life. Did I do good?<br>

Are you sure it is leaking out ?

If the air supply, compressor or whatever it is, is supplying the brake system with air pressure in excess of the relief valve setting on the machine, the relief valve will open in an attempt to dump the excess air pressure.

Could this be what is happening?
