My PB Port is too hot to touch when the tractor is working hard.... even on a cold day, plowing snow.

Speaking of cold... a good way to tell if your oil is warmed up on a winter start-up: wait until the frost melts off the metal port couplings. That takes about 7-10 minutes at +15 degrees with my 4115.

Try fimcoindustries.com they manufacture a line of garden and lawn sprayers. TSC stores sell this line. mytscstore.com sells a FIMCO unit 21-35005 which is 25 gallon that mounts to an ATV front rack with 7 nozzles on a 10' boom. The 2004 TSC catalog price was $359.99

If you are concerned with drift, you could shorten the width of the boom (i.e. 10' may be too wide for your driveway), redrill the nozzle mounting holes putting them closer together and run the boom closer to the ground. You could then check out the pattern to get proper overlap which could be regulated by height of boom.

I just noticed the other day the diff lock is sticking. I have to manually pull it up. It doesn't look like there is anything binding on the linkage. Any ideas as to what could be causing this?

I've come across a similar deal, a 2003 bare with 60 hours and R-4's. Dealer is asking $12,500. I understand it was a repo and only used with a RMM. I need a loader and the new style curved beam doesn't fit since there are some slight body changes. However, dealer can get me a new Woods loader. The warranty will be off in several months.

I'm assuming another $2,800.00/$3,000.00 for the loader. Am I better off with a new unit? This one is also Red DX33. Does anybody know if major changes were done between 2003 and 2005. The hood is more curved and the headlights are different that is noticeable. Don't know what else

The Howse implements in question were a boom pole and a set of carry-all forks.

The top link holes on the boom pole were a couple of plates welded to the pole. They were so misaligned that the pin had to go through at an obvious slant. The thing bent like a pretzel under quite a bit less than it's advertised load capability.

The forks have not yet made it to the dump but they are not worth much either. On a level concrete slab, one fork tilts upward about an inch above its mate.

The King Kutter implement I walked away from was a 6' rear blade. The blade would not return to a square 90 degree angle to the frame and someone at the factory had gouged out the pilot holes so as to make them oblong so that the pin could even fit at all, albeit at an angle.

Plus there was a lot of slop and wobble in the system. Nothing seemed to fit very tightly.

It was less than half the price of the Gearmore unit I eventually bought, but not, in my opinion worth the money they wanted for it.

I just bought one, hooked it up and it worked great. Big, solid, basic... just my style. I stopped by a dealer to look at a boxblade on the way home and saw the Bearcat, which was going for around $3k. Smaller, twice the price, hardly seemed worth it. I paid $1495 plus tax for the Jinma.

I recently saw a Ym155d at a local dealer with a loader. I was interested in buying the tractor, but other issues (it wasn't for sale) prevented that from happening. I asked the dealer how much he thought it was worth and he said around 4k.

Thanks for the notes. I've added minnows, Bluegill, and Channel Catfish so far and will add Florida Bass in June. Already have lots of frogs. Maybe once the fish grow a bit they will take care of the problem. Looking forward to fishing in about a year.

Well,are you familar with any welding? M.I.G.,STANDS FOR METALLIC INERT GAS,there are several ways to weld with mig,,bare wire with a gas shielding,flux in the wire without a gas shielding,,short circuiting transfer,globular transfer,spray transfer,you can weld,steel,stainless steel,aluminum with this process,,skill level required is generally considered less than with stick rod,,,but,,this is not actually the case,,it just seems easier to the beginner,,takes a lot of skill to make a top quality weld with it,,,hobart is one of the top brands,,you will need probably a 220 electric source,to plug it in,,shielding gas would be co-2,unless you are using a flux cored wire,[than you may or may not need additional shielding],,argon gas for aluminum,,,,and if it was given to you,,than of course its a good one.
