Chris, both those tractors are working good in the field. The 84" mower I'd feel would be a little much for around this area to handle and I'd stick with the 72".

Had a BX2200 and now have a B7800 and BX1500. 10 hours on BX1500. The BX1500 is actually my wife's but I mowed with it yesterday. Pressing the pedal to go forward makes it go forward and it feels like the pedals is floored or reached a detent but pressing noticeably harder makes it take off like you've really kicked it down. Does this sound right to any Kubota dealers/service persons or BX1500 owners? My previous BX2200 and current B7800 do not feel this way. No, I have not greased the pedal fitting yet. Thinking it may be a linkage problem.

One of the things we often do when this is the case is to limit the upper limits of the tractors three point hitch so you can't raise it to those dangerous points.

Sims and curtis both offer soft side cabs that within a couple of hours can be off the tractor for summer use. Mounting time is only about four hours when new and they are an advantage when selling the tractor and will give you good visibility and comfort during the winter months. I've only seen a couple of home built cabs that actually enhanced the value instead of lowering the value of the tractor.

I have installed many of these laminate floors. I tend to stay with a product called uniclic. The one with a 25 yr. warranty. These products seem to work best over a basement floor.
Negatives I've noted.
They call be slippery in stocking feet.
They (the floating floors are noisey when walked on with hard soles). as there is movement.
If you damage a section of snap together, you have to take up a large area to replace it.
For the cost I think you can have real oak nailed down that can be refinished three times.
The bevel type (IMHO) is a PITA when it comes to keeping it clean. Seems to be a catch all for fine dirt.

I came across a Case DX33 which I understand to be a TC33 only red. The dealer has 2, 2003 models and 1 new 2005. He is asking $12,500 for an '03 with 500 hrs. and 0 attachments. He is asking $15,000 for the '05 with another $2,000 for a rear finish mower. My question is, what would be a fair price for the 2nd '03 that has 200 hrs. and a 60" belly mower? All 3 are hydro, 4x4, industrial tires.

Well not really. Some dealers had them imported in "test markets". They did not catch on. SO they were discontinued for U.S. sale. There are still available in Europe. That is one reason when you try to do a search on them all the sites or most of the sites that pop up are in German or French ect.

was back draging a lawn and the bucket joystick came off in my hand ! Seems the tiny littlepiece of 1/8" x 3/4" strap that its screwed to broke right thru the screw hole. Imagine that ! Is mine the only one [?] on a unit with 189 hrs ?

There are many things to consider here, nutrient load, runoff entering, etc. One thing to consider for a recent pond is the balancing of the ecosystem. Greens are the bottom of the food chain and a new pond has no consumer base at first. I added crayfish, tadpoles, frogs, fish, minnows and goldfish and the growth I had dissapeared within a year. For a pond that size, you need quite a few consumers.

I tried to change my oil today, but the oil drain plug is totally stuck. I seem to have ended up by stripping the outside of the 19 metric drain plug cap and I still can't get it out. <br>
My question is, can I find a replacement drain plug cap? I'm sure that the threading on the plug is an unusual size.<br>
Can anyone help me with info regarding what the thread size is? Or perhaps someone might know where I could find a replacement drain plug, either new or used?<br>

Mark (DRankin here) posted a picture once of his solution. He bought a spare hand truck and strapped the phd to it in an upright position. Seemed like a good solution, takes little floorspace and you can roll it right back to reinstall it.

have a neighbor selling a 1976 shibaura sd1540b 4X4 diesel tractor. Its in fair shape and runs well. Hour meter is broken. He will not sell for less than $4500, and I think thats a little steep. Maybe I am wrong. Price does include a plow and woods mower. I would greatly appreciate any info anyone would have. Thanks much T.J.

Being an Ag and industrial mechanic for several years I have learned to stay away from Daewoo, Ghel, and Mustang skid loaders, nothing but trouble and lack of parts support. Stick with John Deere, Case, New Holland, Or Cat.

If you look at the hp to weight ratio you are not gaining any thing but a larger bucket and a few pounds of lift between the 33 and the 35. The 33 can handle a 72" rear mower with no problems. If you want to go with the bigger tractor I would strongly suggest going up to the 40.

There is a reason that the 35 is the least popular out of all the models of the TC tractor.
