My JD 3rd goes to the loader for grapple, power angle snow plow etc. thats why I wanted an extra for the back. Other companies offer predesigned packages with 2 or 3 remotes like Gearmore. They do not have a single joystick but I am not sure I would want a joystick for T&T since it is not something that requires constant adjustment to both valves of T&T at tha same time like a loader, but I do like the ccm cylinders with the load checks built in to prevent leak down

Thanks to everyone for all the feedback. I have to agree KK implements seem to be pricy for their size, but then again, its a matter of supply and demand! You're paying for the "proper fit" not just sheer size. So far I'm happy with the tow behind spreader, not to mention the extra $200 in my pocket. Now if it would only stop raining!

I still think subcut implements are the way to go. I have a full sized 5' rear blade and 30" dirt scoop (cheap alternative to an FEL). The rear blade works fine, but the lift pins on the dirt scoop are almost too far apart. I have to spread the lift arms ALL the way out to mount it. Then I have to limit the lift height to avoid contact between the 3PH subframe and the lift arms. I wish I had gone with the 24" unit.

Take one look at the frame on the Simplicity and you'll have your answer. Don't be deceived by HP ratings; all of them have more engine power than you could possibly put to use with a tractor of that size and weight. The Kubota and the Deere are superior machines. The Kubota will likely give you the best bang for your buck, but go with the DEALER you like best. If you're going to keep a tractor for the long haul, you'll want a dealer who supports their product well. I drive 15 miles out of my way because that dealer has a better reputation than the one I pass every day to and from work.

Most of the Deere dealers have a service truck that will come to you. It should be a lot less than hauling tractor to shop and back.

It's nice to have a experienced eye look it over, change the fluids and dispose of the waste oils and filters and leave no mess.

You might even consider having them service your other power equipment at the same time.

It is some thing you could do yourself. Go out and buy the oil, buy the filters, have some old rags to clean up with, speedy dry, filter wrenches, drain pan/s or buckets if you are changing the trans fluid (5+ gals worth), place to dispose of oil, time to do it...then stupid used oil container falls over in back of car and leaks...

Hell I do not even know why I do it. But I had to over the years and have all the stuff and a place to do it.To hard headed to change I guess. Filters still get burned out in wood stove, by winter there is quite a collection.

Well so far so good. It has been climbing well and hasn't given me any problems. There are just a few adjustment due to cable stretchin. I am taking it to Arkansas into the mountains for a trail ride. I'll keep you guys informed on how well it does. There will be some Mules there and I will see if that wanna have a pull off.(not an arkansas pull off LOL ;-) <br>

Just remember you can usually use too big of a trailer for a small job, but you can NEVER us too small of a trailer for a big job. Error on the size of slightly too big when buying a trailer. You'll never be sorry. Also, when hauling a CUT, tandem is the only way to go. I personally prefer a car hauler.

It isn't too bad of price if everything is in excellant shape. I happened to pick up my 2003 4410 (87 hrs) at a dealer auction for $15,200...I test drove it a couple months earlier (mowing at my house) and they were asking $17,000 at that point. Remember that price is almost always somewhat negotiable.

Freezing is not a problem here. Rarely ever remains below 32 degrees for a whole day. I thought there may be other reasons to add something else to the fill...like maybe to increase the weight or protect against corrosion.

I have a written quote from a dealer of $18,895 for a B3030 with L403 FEL, Mid mount mower, Grill Guard, R4 tires. I was also quoted $6500 additional for the BK75 Backhoe. NOTE! The dealer does not expect to have one in stock until about the 10th of April. These prices do not include tax.

OK AV8R, it got me too. I guess we have ATVs on the brain. This is the suv/ truck forum so I assume its about the minivan. We tested one as did my sister. We both really liked them in 04, but it was Toyota that offered 4 wheel drive so that is what my sister bought even though it may have been a close second in other aspects. As for me, I opted out of the 30 grand that gets 17 MPG and bought a $3000 95 turd areostar 4 wheel drive and an 05 Jetta tdi wagon that gets in the high 40s MPG. Most of the time we use the tdi and just when we must the van. I dont think honda makes anything you can go wrong with.

So that was the reason! LOL I came home with a bent front end, handle bars that needed a large pipe and a 2x4 to fix. What was worse tha that was I happened to be limping up the dead end road we lived on, pushing my bike when a squad car pulled up behind me. I could tell just by the sound of its engine.(the police cars) I staightened out and tried my best to walk like it was no big deal. When I got up to my drive there was my old man waiting for me (he happened to be coming home on supper break) He made me lift my shirt. LOL I had 2 ribs that were shot and I looked like a deer that was hiy by a car.
Needless to say, I was told to park the cycle for 2 weeks!!! Now you tell me this? Why would any dad make a kid park his cycle for 2 precious weeks of summer vacation especially when he had NO money involved in buying or fixing my bike? I could not get one till I earned the money for it (I worked in a resturant from age 13 LOL Mom worked there and I got paid cash to bus tables) Mom and dad would not and never did spend money on any toys like that for us kids. To this day I could not forget that. Having kids now, I realized why he did what he did, it was for me to respect what I owned (and maybe so he would not have anouther medical bill from me since I had to go to the hospital 13 times by age 13 for stitches!!! ) The last time/year I went for stitches I was in the ER 3 times in 3 weeks. My old man wanted to kill me!) Fact was the last time that year I slit my ear half off and I tried to butterfly it and not say anything. You want to talk about getting my ass reamed for that, when I got to the hospital I was told that if I would of waited anouther hour I would of been in trouble cause of the time it took from the accident till getting in the ER.

I have been out tonight looking at project. Will do the field stone and ceder shake. Love the totem pole idea. Thought about an old fashioned type red and white candycane pole type of upright. Will think more about a totem pole idea. Please explain more on the silhouette waterjet thing. sounds interesting. Agree simple is best. I am focused on projects that are done once, and no upkeep. Simply put, rethink landscaping projects. I've created a "monster" in all the rock gardens and flower gardens. Love to create them, but tough to keep them maintained.
