If the 756 is like the 758, then it's a fairly quick task once you get used to it. Two hydraulic quick-disconnects, two pins up front, and the top link in the back. To make re-installation easier it helps if you dismount it on a firm, level surface. Remounting takes some practice, but once you get the hang of things it goes pretty quick as well.

I feel that the BX series would tackle all of your major task. The only question is the tree moving. If the timber is large and you have a bunch of it then look at the B7510 or maybe the new B2930. The BX is more than powerful than you expect, but lacks the weight needed to really get the big grunt jobs knocked out. Call your local rental equipment dealer for your pond excavation. Big excavators are a blast to operate and a wheel loader will get the dirt out of the way. Have a great time with all that land, sounds like you are going to be busy ! !

The outside one will be the diff lock. If the other one says ENG/DIE on the knob, it's the PTO engage/disengage lever.

I just picked up my BX2230 last week and love it ! I work for the local dealer and very rarely do we see a problem with the BX line of machines. I agree with the advise of using only compact attachment. We could really use a boom pole, but the only ones I can find are made for the larger tractors. The weight of the material on the end of a 6' long pole sounds scary because I am not fond of riding wheelies ! I think we shall fire up the welder and craft a 3 footer off the same basic design. If I had a FEL perhaps it would be a different story with the added front mass. Still saving the pennies for that glorious day.

I have seen something simular to this on our rental machines. Problem could be in the loader valve detent assembly. The lube used when these are assembled will dry out and the 4 small detent balls will hang in the sleave causing the control to be eratic. Try sending the control into the bucket float position. If the detent is sticking it will be very difficult to get in and out of float. It is easy enough to take this apart for inspection, cleaning and relube but is difficult to reassemble this device. Let me know if you need any instruction with the detent, I have done a few of them and know a few tricks.

No. Your dealer is not pulling your leg.

I will find my density altitude calculator tomorrow and give you the hard numbers, but for now I will hazard an educated guess and say that depending on the temperature, a normally aspirated engine will only produce about 60 percent of its rated power at that altitude.

If I were investing in a turbo, I would investigate an external oil pump.

Got a price of $27,500 on a DK55C with a Woods 1020 loader witha QA bucket, filled ind. tires, delivered. Good price? I have 20 wooded acres to take care of as well as finish mow. is this tactor too big? I am also looking at a backhoe for it, any suggestions?<br>

Yep, some of can be a sloppy mess, but it does pick it up. Better on the sweeper than some of the options available to us. I could see how horse prizes would be a lot tougher on the sweeper, but it picks up some good sized stuff off the lawn. Just a thought.

4' x 8' sheet of 3/4" insulation, frozen hard to the ground. I'll bet my tractor that regardsless of the thickness, the ground will freeze, unless there is enough organic decomposition in the soil to produce some heat under the insulation. Insualtion only slows the transfer of heat, it doesn't create any.

The bets on...for next winter, grinder. My 7810 against your 7510. May the warmest soil win.

I have a '03 4410 and absolutely think it is great. Remember, the dealers need to move the 4000 series to make room for the new ones. IMO, they need to drop their price quite a bit before I would take it. (I bought mine used with 87 hours through a dealer with 72" mmm for $15,200.) My preference is the 4410 with the 300cx loader. I am always a little leery of new models and 4410 has been proven time and time again...300cx loader is a heavier unit and looks great as well. All in all, the 4410 is an all around great, reliable machine.
